181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Real bitcoin market value after Mt. Gox on: February 28, 2014, 06:24:28 AM
How much are people willing to sell for vs how much people are willing to pay = market price.
If people are willing to buy and sell at this price then that is the value.

Yes, but while it is the market value  it is based on a fiction, can't be considered the real price.

What was the real price? Mt.Gox? And everything else is fiction?
Get yourself together mate.

No, Mt. Gox was a fiction. The others are based on a fiction. Get yourself english lessons.

Just go to wikipedia and search for "exchange" and all your questions will be answered.
Unfortunatelly for me is not so easy to learn english  Cry

I 've already lost track of the possible scenarios...
I think i 'll stick with the one that says that for any reason, MK can't access his private keys.

Can someone fill me in to what is going on? I haven't been on bitcointalk much recently.
Take a look here for the details:

I may reduce the rate for those with small signatures.
Lol. Sometimes i hate it when i 'm right  Tongue

... confirmed over an online chat with a keyboard and a cat as proof, lol.

I don't think it was meant as a proof. Most probably it was yet another random move from MK.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: High frequency traders want to speculated on bitcoin? on: February 28, 2014, 12:29:17 AM
Isn't a HFT bot something extremely sophisticated? I mean it's not like something your average bot can do right?

What i mean is that there are very few people that can get their hands on such a technology and i don't think they can
have a great impact in the market.

Any updates from Stunna about the signature situation? I can't find any so i guess everything will stay the same right?

Also what about that RGB promo? They seem to pay double! Are they legit?
Please don't mistake Ritz Grand Casino with me. I am not them, I am fighting against them.

Oops sorry i should have said RGC. Why do you fight them?
188  Other / Archival / Re: Lessons from MtGox collapse on: February 28, 2014, 12:05:03 AM
Or you can think of it otherwise.
You don't own any bitcoins unless they are in an address of which you own solely the private key.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Bitcoin will be clawed back due to widespread theft on: February 27, 2014, 11:53:21 PM
You assume mostly that governments and courts will regulate and treat bitcoin like a traditional currency/commodity/whatever...

I think that's wrong. If that was the case then they would have done that already. The fact that most governments are still looking about
what bitcoin exactly is, makes someone think that sooner or later they 'll come up with a more sophisticated regulation.

And seriously mate. You are quoting yourself!   Embarrassed

don't waste your time...
It's like the internet in the early days. The sheeps will use it only when it becomes mainstream.
192  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: February 27, 2014, 02:36:08 AM
So, any word about how many of the 9600000 IPO shares have been sold so far?
I can't seem to find that info nowhere.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People actually thought bitcoin was dead because of MtGox? on: February 27, 2014, 12:04:04 AM
In their defence, it is actually difficult to explain to the masses the amount of incompetence involved in the Mt.Gox collapse.
It 's just easier to say "the bubble is now burst" and then say it again in a month and the again in two months etc...
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people fear regulation so much? on: February 26, 2014, 11:49:16 PM
I think people afraid that regulation will come from people that don't view bitcoin as a protocol and thus it will be irrational.
195  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 26, 2014, 11:44:46 PM
I wonder if this will effect Stunna's payments or rates? It seems you can only have colour ones when you're a full member and the current sigs are very small.

I hope for the payments to stay the same and maybe go up for Senior and Hero members,
but my guess is that it will be a drop for eveyone else except Sr and Hero.
196  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 26, 2014, 11:05:03 PM
It looks like all the signatures got pwned...
In case you wonder what's happening: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484259.msg5393088#msg5393088
197  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal: Disallow Ads in Signatures on: February 26, 2014, 10:39:56 PM
My oppinion is that sig adds is a great way for people to get their hands on some bitcoins.

Since it's not the very early days and people don't give bitcoins away for free, signatures is one of the few ways for
people to get involved with a substantial amount of bitcoin in hand.

Not everyone can work for bitcoins, and not everyone can afford to buy bitcoins but everyone that has a wallet with a few bitcoins in it,
adds value to the currency and the community.

Spamming a forum (even if it is an important one like this) is trivial compared to the big picture.

Guys seriously,

OP is either drop dead idiot or just amuses himself with everyone around that tries to come up with a "solution".

The more i hear from Karpeles the more i think that he doesn't have a clue about how big his business is and how much money are involved.
