181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: August 28, 2018, 10:51:20 AM
Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?

I like to hold coins too. I do not think that is crazy, we all have our hobbies and with so many tokens in your wallet, when the market bulls then there is no doubt that you would be making a lot of money from it. Although I have to say that is a lot of tokens, must have taken a whole to gather all of them. You might want to start thinking about getting rid of some of them.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is officially banned in China !!! on: August 28, 2018, 10:32:23 AM
Not surprised, if you really look at all of these ICOs you will see that most of them if not all are just scams, there has to be ways implemented to make sure that they can stop the rising number of scam ICOs. We really do not need new coins, there are already thousands of coins in the market already that we do not know what to do with. I support this decision.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: August 27, 2018, 12:01:07 PM

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

That is true, there are a lot of scam projects out there, some have died out and some are still very much operating as we speak, planning their exit. It is not good and it is one of the reasons that so many people are so relunctant to invest in new project. The sad part is, there are still so many scam projects coming into the market each and everyday.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If ICO Extended the token sale date on: August 27, 2018, 11:53:22 AM
They are mostly just giving themselves more time to raise the amount of money that was the set goal in the beginning. If a project does not get the amount that they are going for then they will most definitely extend the ICO date so that they can raise even more and with this extension comes an extension in everything else associated with the project.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: August 26, 2018, 11:35:06 AM
I am feeling a bit hopeful that the market will start doing better soon, we might be looking at another recovery if the market keeps being steady as it is now. There is a bit of fear that the coins might fall down further and I will end up losing money but I think that is normal when you have your money in any kind of invetment but I am mainly feeling hopeful.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we actually need the Blockchain for society (especially poor ones) to thrive? on: August 25, 2018, 11:42:30 AM
The thing about blockchain is that it provides a level playing field, one that anyone with access to the internet can get to. Also it makes for better distribution of wealth as everyone has the chance to earn a lot with cryptos as long as they are smart with it. So yes, I believe that we actually need blockchain for society and for the poor to thrive.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to spot a Scams on: August 25, 2018, 11:32:06 AM
It’s so hard to know that the ICO are scams. Unless if you’ve been a victim before. Have you heard about Myshield the first decentralized Anti-Scam platform that will definitely help us eliminate and destroy those Scams in Crypto industry. If not now then when? So join the community now. t.me/MyShield_TM

There are multiple ways to spot scam coins but really there is no one size fits all when it comes to spotting scam coins. First if a project does not have faces behind it then you should be very wary of that project as there is every possibility that it is a scam. Also read the whitepaper, if it is full of grammatical errors then just know that you are dealing with a scam coin.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum/Altcoins Be Valuable Or Relevant without Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2018, 07:30:10 PM
I think they would be since bitcoin is the reason that these coins are in the market anyway. Imagine if a coin like bitcoin ends up dying out, that would be a disaster for all of the coins since no one would trust cryptocurrencies if it turns out that its best coin ended up dying out. So no they would not be relevant if bitcoin were no longer here.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 : Where to invest with $100 ? on: August 24, 2018, 07:18:52 PM
Hello,
I am thinking of investing a little amount in cryptocurrency. I want to invest $100. I am also thinking of doing trading sometime with that money.
Which coin will be the best for investing with $100 ?

I would tell you to invest that money into some recent coin. Not one of the new ones that are filling the market right now with their scam coins but the coins that are still fairly new, they have not being in the market for a long time but they have been doing good and they have a lot of potential to do good. One of those coins that I would recommend is dogecoin.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: August 23, 2018, 03:44:22 PM
There are always two sides to this, I do believe the people who stayed are no doubt crying now when they watch the prices of their coins fall but then again, when the market ends up bulling, they will be the ones who smile the most. You can decide that you want to cut your losses and get out but after that then what? You will only have yourself to blame when the prices go up and you do not have any coins.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: August 23, 2018, 03:35:03 PM
Great question for all you cryptocurrency believers. What is going to drive the price of bitcoin up and all the altcoins? What exactly are we waiting for? Money doesnt just come out of thin air. What exactly is the catalyst? Again the question is, what exactly are we waiting for?

Demand is exactly what is needed to drive the price of the coins up. You have to understand that bitcoin behaves just like any other commodity, if there is more demand for the coin than there is supply then the price of the coin goes up. We need more adoption. With more adoption all of the coins become more valuable and that is what drives the price up.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can ethereum be bearish? on: August 22, 2018, 04:43:47 PM
Judging by the previous bear markets that we have had in the past, I would say it could take up to a couple of months or even years if the market does not start doing better in terms of money that is coming in. You need to realize that we already had a bull market this year so it is not time for us all to wait out the bear market and that can take a while.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% of all projects is worthless and not worth a cent. What do you think? on: August 22, 2018, 04:30:26 PM
99% of all ico and existing projects is worthless and not worth a cent. what's your opinion?

I thought about it a year ago. For the period that the ico projects came out of the ground and poloniax and bittrex were the largest exchanges. Then in many tokens I saw something of value that stood on exchanges.

Nowadays I have completely changed my mind and have looked at things in a different way.
To start with recent projects and icos that are ready:

After all those hundreds of new tokens that have come in at this time, I think completely different.
This has come about because everything about huge amounts of money can be seen from ico startups.
Here I am not talking about scam icos but reliable ico projects. 99% are just thieves.
Projects with high ico tokens price that no one can make a profit. except the founders. Huge amounts of money of tens of millions are sometimes collected per project.

What makes me worse is that Almost all ico projects lie enormously about the development costs of setting up a project. That all money (10 million) for example is used for the application to make and additional matters.

What nonsense. If I started a normal company that has nothing to do with crypto, you can set up a very nice kourier, painters, construction company or shop with $ 500,000.

With this IT related crypto shit projects do as if they still have too little 5 to 10 million dollars budget. while you can start a business for 1000 euros. Laptop, software and in your own living room.

70% of all app or platform projects cost the software almost nothing to a few thousand to build, 2000x less if there is collected in the ico. Say development costs of $ 5000.
What I can say even better is:
99% of all projects cost a maximum of 1 million dollars to pay everything in the first year such as software, salary team, office rent, marketing plus other costs together to develop a project.

Then dare to say that for example they do not have enough money to have a good exchange, for example.
Almost all projects build everything for a minimal amount. lf it is finished, their 9 million are in their pocket for private investments. not only the 9 million but also often 30 percent of all tokens of their project.

At this moment you have 99% of all altcoins which is junk.
You may, for example, have tokens of a certain project, but can you also do something with those tokens, so that you can get rich with those tokens? Some projects may be good, but what do these tokens add to their value? Can not you do something with a particular project if you do not own their tokens?

Ethereum tokens can increase the value, for example, because you can use it for example for ico investments.

Bitcoin has value because it is the bentley of the crypto coins.

Many projects offer nothing special that contrasts with a value.
Virtually all projects are worthless because they do not add anything.
With the cryptocrash last months, people are fortunate to see a true value of many projects. useless projects.

Fortunately, there are also a number of unique projects that do add something.
Unique projects I mean something that others do not have. Paymon.org, for example, is a unique and reliable project. With a very active devteam. This project comes with solutions that people scream for. A replacement that can replace fiat money. Payments without transaction costs, transaction speeds unlimited per second, passes to pay everywhere with crypto. Project that focuses entirely on personal payments with their own developed DAG blockchain HIVE. A project where you already have the blockchain and you can even test the blockchain for free how fast it is. Also have a working android and ios app and web platform with a messenger function built in with which you can chat. . This project is very far below the radar, that is because the team wants to deliver a product in a few months that is ready for marketing.
This project gives your coins a real value.

All those dozens of Dapp projects, wallet projects, securety projects are in my eyes worthless in the future and it does not add anything to your token value

How do you think about this?

I agree with you. With all of the coins that are coming out now,if you are one that does research then you would see that most of them have nothing to offer and if their coins were to be valued they would amount to zero being that they do not have any good product that can guarantee the survival of their coin. That is why a lot of the coins will end up failing.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to save my coins and tokens? on: August 21, 2018, 04:45:20 PM
The best way for you to save your coins is to make sure that you store the coins and tokens in the approved wallet that was provided by the team. That way you know that your coins are in the right place. Also make sure that you secure your coins by making sure that you private keys are kept safely in places where you know that you are the only one that can get to them.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any ALTCOIN ever overtake Bitcoin ? on: August 20, 2018, 10:06:19 AM
There is no way that I see any of the altcoins overtaking bitcoin even the ones with really good project. Bitcoin being the first cryptocurrency in the market already gives the coin bragging rights and to maintain relevance through all of the years in the midst of thousands of coins has helped it to solidify its place as the best coin in the market and no one can replace it.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Crypto market collapse on: August 20, 2018, 09:56:04 AM
Will the Crypto markets collapse?
You can not discount the possibility!

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/most-cryptocurrencies-will-crash-to-zero-goldman-sachs-says.html

I don't believe it will. Reasons being that for years people have being expecting the crypto market to crash but what we have seen so far is the market is still going strong and the prices of the coins are still holding up despite the bull market. Sure there is always a possibility of it failing which we should always have in mind but that does not mean that it will fail.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: August 19, 2018, 08:58:52 AM
I would have to go with binance. Reason being that binance has such a high number of listed coins that you do not have to worry about signing up for different exchanges when you want to buy coins. Also it is built in a way that is meant to make your trading experience easier. I have to say that their commision rates are pretty reasonable too if you look at it.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: August 18, 2018, 11:12:45 AM
Hi.can someone tell me if KYC is ok ? what could be the effects of doing it especially in bounties/airdrops, they are requiring to pass KYC before joining

I don' think that doing KYC is wise. There is always the chance of the project failing and them selling your information on the dark web to hackers and scammers. You should be very careful who you share that information with as things can go very wrong, very fast if you are not careful. The only thing you should be doing KYC for should be for the exchanges.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: August 18, 2018, 11:00:29 AM
So far it is one of the best altcoins investment that you can make. You need to understand that bitcoin and ethereum are no longer as anonymous as crypto users would like them to be, with the transactions being traceable now and all. So people are going to go for the next best thing which is privacy altcoins, that is how the value of the coins will go up.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now dying, what do you think? on: August 17, 2018, 12:24:33 PM
I don' think that ETH is dying, just that someone is manipulating the price to go down so that they can take advantage of that and buy a lot of coins. Once they are done buying, just watch, you will see ethereum being pumped to a high price so they can sell the coins that they bought and make a lot of profit. it is just market manipulation.
