I don't think another coin will overtake bitcoin because of this, after all its not at all the fault of bitcoin it comes down to a badly run exchange and that's a threat for all coins. Personally I see expectations around exchanges rising because of this and hopefully groups like the bitcoin foundation will help bring all major players up to scratch. Bitcoin will slowly recover and the crypto market as a whole will be stronger because of it. It will take time but IMO, short of a major flaw in bitcoins actual code, it has established well enough that alt coins like noble shouldn't be trying to replace it but present a viable alternative whether it be through technology or community/culture. |

I've set up a new wallet for the community donation fund and have transferred the first 10,000 Noble to it.

Yes because having 300 + posts ( regardless of their individual content ) = credibility? I might not agree with all of cryptohunter's views on things, but when you've seen the same type of thing happen over and over and over, I mean why is this different? There is a huge influx of new people coming to the game and if what you consider FUD posts will drive a few people to do some due dilegence and research on things then my job is done here. Goodluck to you and your choices of mining/investing. I have to agree, launch was less then stellar and real specs should have been announced well in advance of launch especially when your doing it for the second time. Plenty of other coins out there... Its sad to hear about the fraud again but awesome that you guys are willing to cover it! IDK why people have to target promising coins wouldn't it be better to just invest? Oh well, all of us here know that this coin and its devs are a shining example of what cryptos should be, we are here for the long haul and if we each spread the word when opportunity arises we will grow! Its still early days and I'm sure as time goes on not only will more people see the coin for what it truly is you guys will pick up a few tricks to keep the troll attacks at bay (like the afore mentioned only accepting BTC and NOBL). You've got a good thing going here and as the crap coins fall to the way side noble will be recognised more and more as a long term contender Speaking of recognition I notice coinwarz seems to chop and change between the 'N' logo and the eagle, I think it would be a good idea to see if they can stick to one as a consistent logo will give it stronger presence on the charts to people not so familiar with the coin - I favour the eagle BTW |

Pretty much and now talk of the dev dumping (IDK how true that really is but it wouldn't surprise me), such a shame I was asleep during launch... had my miners on it far longer then it deserved Sad thing is it could have been a perfectly good coin especially after the dev showed some balls pulling the first launch, all he had to do this time was announce the premine in a timely manner (nothing wrong with a premine as long as its used to support the coin not dump on the first exchange), launch everywhere at the same time or as close to as possible (I thought that was one of the reasons the first launch got recalled? Same thing different day makes it OK?), at least have a solid wallet working at launch and for gawd sake announce your specs... having a surprise 1/10 block reward is not the good sort of surprise... Guess the dev didn't get enough dumping coins at launch last time round so he tried again... should never have taken my rigs off noble... |

Rather then block halving why not "block decrementing", instead of after x months the reward halves make it so after x blocks the reward goes down by 1 NOBL that way you get the increased rarity without the shock, just a thought, IDK about the technical side of such an implementation.

I have to enter my password 5-50 times usually coming up with "token expired" then when I get in if I try to navigate away from the dashboard I end up back at the login screen??? Edit: After a few more expired tokens I seem to be able to navigate now... but now the pools showing as dead Not sure. I'm there right now and seems to be working fine. definitely not dead, 1369 workers Yea came back a minute later  On another note I set this to turn on while I was sleeping and I've just caught up with the launch events... is it going to get canned and relaunched for attempt 3? Seem like either an epic fail or a epic scam atm, I'll be going back to other coins now I think... even PANDA seems less scamy then what happened here! |

Multi-pool resistant with Kimoto's Gravity Well 1.2 million coins pre-mine? seriously? 2% is too much. 2% really isn't that bad, it ends up paying for promotions, give aways and other bounties but should have been clearly announced and if they want to do things completely right they should keep a ledger preferably with wallet addresses. Reference Noble coin if you want to see how to do a premine properly (and the panda coin if you want to see one done wrong ;P). |
