Well my Interlink man is sitting outside my house in his van, smoking a cigarette and drinking his coffee before he gets my parcel out :-)
The picture completes. It's a working mentality going from IT to the delivery monkeys it seems.

Luckily it was just 6hrs of ~3mH/s, so I don't feel too bad for a $1.50 mistake. Thanks for checking!
Who TYPES Bitcoin addresses?! Copy&paste, ever heard of it? Even if you work with offline wallets or whatnot, you make sure you have some foolproof way of transferring addresses correctly. QR codes, c&p, whatever. Never TYPE addresses, OMG.

It's rather "convenient" that miners keep mining (what exactly?) and don't disconnect so they can failover to another pool. What have we been mining in those hours?
Could you please take the time to read poolwaffle's explanation and let us know if you have any specific questions. Thanks. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=433634.msg7471777#msg7471777No questions, thanks.

Any progress on getting those shipping costs back from order #2000?

Can you stop fucking with the pool now so all my 5.4MH/s make it there? Currently I have 5.4MH/s locally and below 3MH/s arrive at the pool.

Habs mal probiert. Bestätigung kam, Code lässt noch auf sich warten.
Man sollte vielleicht dranschreiben, ob das vollautomatisch läuft oder ob die Codes manuell verschickt werden.
Edit: Funzt. Zeitlicher Verlauf bei mir:

My shipment was a total desaster because of DPD's tracking.
They handed off the package to DHL without telling anyone. DHL tried to deliver on 12th and didn't tell anyone. DPD predicted delivery for 13th which is why I weren't at home on 12th. Then the package dicked around at DHL until Monday when it came to their mind to call me so they could deliver it today.
At you located in EU ? Yes

Interlink/DPD tracking sucks donkey balls.
Don't rely on anything you see there, it's outdated, wrong and best used to predict the weather.
|
|
|
It's all fun until you need to dispute a lost shipping with the carrier. He'll pay you $9, too, then.
|
|
|
I've had someone reply to me via e-mail on Sunday evening, but this was just a shrug and a pointer to the Interlink/DPD tracking.
I've since demanded they send another miner and dispute this case with DPD for compensation. No reply to that since then.

My parcel has been delivered apparently and signed for by some dude called "DELIVERED SIGNED FOR BY MOTUNRAYO". And you know when this was supposed to have happened? 10 Jun 2014 11:22.
When was the parcel picked up from minereu? That's right, 10 Jun 2014 14:51, AFTER it was supposedly delivered.
DPD has some serious fucking shit going on there. Dump DPD, they're apparently too stupid to get a package from A to B, or operate a proper tracking system that doesn't allow statuses to happen before other statuses. This is one of the most grotesque experiences I've had with a carrier, EVER.

I don't mind DPD, I know my delivery driver well. You guys could improve your service by responding to emails
Problem is, my DPD guy could be the best in the world, if the package doesn't make it out of UK, he can't do anything either... I seriously hope my case is the famous unfortunate, isolated event. Last tracking update June, 11th. Noone knows where the package is.

|

Indeed DPD doesn't give a damn when you get you package. But ok, they are cheap!
$54 isn't cheap, at all.
|
|
|
Cost-effectiveness comes from handling massive volumes in routine ways. Deviating from the routine is more expensive than just going through with the routine, even if it sometimes means to do things "inefficiently" on a micro level.

I really don't know, but I have seen small planes on airports with a DPD logo on it, so it's not complete nonsense.
This must be for really important parcels then, in which case it makes even less sense to have them idling on ground while waiting to get enough carriage for them. Anyway, I'm in contact with my local DPD depot and Interlink now to find out where exactly my package is right now.

Seriously pissed at DPD now. Apparently, the tracking IS accurate and the package is dicking around in UK since Wednesday!
My package was kept for a day or two in Birmingham. I think they hold it until they have enough packages to fill a cargo plane. I can't imagine that there aren't enough packages to fill a plane for 2 days. It's not as if DPD is operating an airport and planes and pilots and all that. This stuff is subcontracted out to air and ocean carriers who transport parcels from several carriers. DPD also guarantees 2 days for Air Express. CMR §23 V governs freight compensation for delivery time excess, so anyone ordering via Air Express and not getting their parcel in time can demand a compensation for the full shipping costs. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CMR_convention and http://www.jus.uio.no/lm/un.cmr.road.carriage.contract.convention.1956.amended.protocol.1978/doc.html#130
