Hi Skycoin, How much is actually functional from the Partial Feature List in the OP? How about setting up a website? Nothing fancy, even a wiki engine would do with perhaps a blog, so the information would be structured. There you could list the working features, roadmap, found bugs, nodes, etc. I know that you have no time for this  but good communication is always of strategic importance. I can devote some time for this, if you're interested. |

Greetings Storj people! I've just come across Factom, seems like a solid project with launch coming next week. So I began digging into it and saw this video where Storj is mentioned as a partial solution to a particular issue they are addressing. Can the Devs confirm that you are cooperating with the Factom project in any way? BTW, this thread seems a little "dead".. There are very good use cases for both technologies to work together, one for storage the other for record keeping. We are in contact with a number of other projects too, there is a lot going on in the 2.0 space. Storj is open to collaboration and integration with other tech and projects, there are a few launching in 2015, we are working to be one of them. We are also presenting at the Texas Bitcoin Conference this weekend, our Lead Developer Shawn, and Hardware Integration Lead Andrew, will be welcoming guests at the Storj booth. Shawn's speech was today and he's also one of the mentors for the Hackhaton. You can try our forum at https://storjtalk.org. We do monitor all of our channels and reply promptly and also recommend our newsletter to which you can register at http://storj.io. ....am I the only one who's been in contact with the devs and understand what a great job they have done?... They showed me some statistics of the world press release and man...it was simply amazing....
Well, actually it would be kinda nice to see the "devs" making an effort to inform the public (like this thread) about achievements, things to come, or anything that would keep the bagholders at least a little bit happy. BTW, last post by dev: 5 days ago.. that's fckn shameful The devs are busy dealing with all kinds of stuff, they are a company dealing with real customers and working on different things, it slows them down a lot if they need to make posts here everyday lol, you mean spending 10 minutes reading up on comments and another 5 minutes to post an update would slow them down? Well I guess that could be true if the team consisted of 1 member who has about 30 minutes each day dedicated to the project Come on Legend, you can't be serious about this If you have doubts, call them and you will know what is called professional. What I don't get is, why I should call them in order to convince myself that they are going somewhere? What's wrong with openness and transparency? So, if the product is "The Next Big Thing", but the originally planned funding method doesn't look very promising atm, and investors are concerned and confused, then the price slips to a level where it doesn't look good like where it is right now. Why not lay out The Big Plan, or set up a chat room with membership conditions for those holding at least x amount of BOOM? Am I the only one here who feels that investors are neglected? |

It seems that BOOM is nothing more than a discount coupon for the Cleverhash rigs IF those ever see the market. And that ico managed to draw around 60 BTC out of the 2500(!!) they planned with 5 days remaining? If the people behind BOOM are only a little bit serious about their venture, the least they could do is show some support to the investors by keeping the price within a non-REKT range. Well, this hasn't been the best of my investments... |
