181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: March 29, 2018, 02:22:43 AM
I was unlucky that I learnt about bitcoin back in the end of 2013.
I borrowed money and bought several bitcoin.
Unfortunately the market dumped soon and I lost 70% of my money.
It was a nightmare.
I am glad that I didn't sell any of my bitcoin back then.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: March 29, 2018, 01:45:01 AM
It has slow transactions and the fees are high, and it is the cryptocurrency frontier.

What do you think will realistically will take Bitcoins nr1 spot in the future? Bitcoin Cash maybe?  Huh

Bitcoin is first ever cryptocurrency in the market.
It is like the top brand, known by the most people.
It is also the most stable one.
I don't see any alternative coin has the possibility to take its place in a short period.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: LiveTree ADEPT [SED] Main crowd-sale is now LIVE! on: March 29, 2018, 01:35:33 AM
How much money has been collected? I can not find this information on the site

As you can see on the indicator bar here under the countdown timer https://secure.livetree.com/#!/seed/ it looks like around 10M has been raised so far.
Why are you using vague works to describe it?
You are from the team, right? You should give us a specific answer to this question.

We are the Community Manager. We do not have access to the back end, and the team is travelling on a roadshow for a while now. Right now the best answer I have for you is that it is right around 10M raised. I will pass your feedback along to the team. Thank you for your patience.

If to draw conclusions from the early news, then a total of 13 million were raised, simply the funds were not indexed in the ETH.

p.s. There is absolutely no time left, we will expect good news from the team.

How can it be possible?
I remember that the ICO went not so well during the first few weeks, only less than 1000ETH was raised back then.
How come more than 10 million was raised during such a short time?
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: March 29, 2018, 01:33:02 AM
Howdy folks, I just came over from Substratum threads to check out the competition and I am quite pleased with what I see here.

Skycoin is 100 percent pre-mined.  I do not like and will not invest in this project.

If you want to see the decentralized web ALREADY in progress, beta tested (it works) and 1 step from public beta release (OPEN SOURCE!!!)

Check out Substratum--Their tech is too good to be true but it actually works, already..
& it doesn't cost you anything to host a node..

>Complains about Skycoin being pre-mined
>Promotes his ICO-issued ERC20 token without its own blockchain

And there's not much to check out with Substratum, seeing as they don't even have a github.
Also, when a project can't get their own supply right and CMC suddenly adds about 130 million based on
a community member's calculations, that would be the moment I'd personally start worrying about my SUB-bags.

Cruel, but its hard to argue with this.

Make sure to edit the subject to read "[SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement " before replying to that post.

Ha, I finally got my SKY coins off Cryptopia which, unfortunately, is now a 3rd rate exchange...
It's only a matter of time before a major like Binance lists SKY.

In order to get to Binance, the project needs a working product. I think it could happen after testnet. But will the team want to spend money on placing on Binance? Huh

Skycoin already has many working products to show for its years of bustling development, and there is no end in sight.

CX programming language with dapps being built. You can get involved also.
Skycoin Fiber token platform with multiple independent active projects. And these projects do not face scalability problems unlike Ethereum.
10 second transactions with no transaction fees. And spam prevention.
UXTX transaction model that separates outputs from transaction objects increasing simplicity, efficiency, native coinjoin privacy protocol support.
to name a few.

You mentioned Binance, there are 300 coins listed on there. How many of them do you think have working products?

Skycoin is not one of these recent ICOs, I encourage you to take some time and familiarize yourself with the project. It almost sounds like you are trying to establish some flimsy narrative attempting to level the playingfield by declaring all of Skycoins development inadmissable for evaluation of fundamentals.

Skycoin has very strict coin distribution rules. This is essential to carry out its doctrine for decentralization. There are no tricks they can pull to get early listing on major exchanges. Skycoin is committed to development, and in such a frothy market environment it can be a temporary disadvantage if competing against projects that are committed to marketing instead.

I'm not trying to bash all other projects, note that i have only named one other coin, Ethereum.

That being said, Skycoin is being listed on at least one major exchange in a short time. It is not permitted to discuss specifics because as you might have heard before, these big exchanges force you to sign an NDA and if you violate it they refuse to list your coin and do not refund any fees you have paid.

This is all summed up nicely. In my experience the transactions are less than 3 seconds, but if there was no computer lag it would probably be instant, can't beat it though. Any fud about Skycoin is a worthless attempt. If you do your research and see how long it has been developed, look at the GitHub and everything else you will see that this project is the biggest sleeping giant there has ever been. You will see in time.
I must admit that the transaction speed of Skycoin is really amazing.
I don't know how it is made possible, but it is really a good feature.
What I worried the most at this point is that Skycoin might never drop to a much lower price.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: March 29, 2018, 01:29:36 AM
There are only 21 bitcoins in the world, and the majority of them are held by a handful of people.
It is really a good idea to save a bitcoin for our each of our children, but it can be done by only a few people.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Incorporation, Fintech, Banking, Exchanges on: March 29, 2018, 01:27:27 AM
Dear SelfKey supporters,

This week, we start testing the alpha version of the SelfKey Identity Wallet with a group of community members. Over a week ago, we released a survey to gauge our community’s interest and received more than one thousand applications to volunteer as a tester. We’ve been in contact with 40 community members so far to join this initial group, and are excited to get their feedback.

In the alpha version, you can build your SelfKey ID (KYC profile), which consists of two parts: attributes and documents.
Attributes are data points about your identity such as name, birthday, nationality, tax numbers, or email. Documents can be an ID card, driver’s license, passport, utility bill, or bank statement, among others.

In line with our self-sovereign identity core purpose, these KYC documents and attributes are encrypted and stored in your personal device, nobody, except you, has access to them and will only be shared with your consent.

In addition, with the Wallet you can manage your ETH-based tokens. Sending, receiving and adding a custom token in a much more intuitive and smooth way than in other cryptocurrency wallets interfaces like MyEtherWallet. You can also track your portfolio dollar value easily with the latest price information of CoinMarketCap.

Thanks for this update. You guys have done a good job.
Although I believe Selfkey will be a huge success in the future, we have lots of stuff to do.
The first thing is how can we persuade users to believe that our Wallet is safe?
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: March 29, 2018, 01:24:33 AM
Good day,
Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?
If yes do I need to sell all alts and wait for rising BTC?
What to do now ? I am confused!!!!
First of all, I don't think bitcoin will reach ATH in a short period.
Secondly, while bitcoin recovers, altcoins will follow suit.
So you don't need to convert your altcoins into bitcoin at this moment.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: March 17, 2018, 07:17:11 AM
Hello community!
What do you think about popularity of the bounty campaigns? I see many new participants joining bounty campaigns, especially Twitter and Facebook. With more and more new participants, we will earn less and less rewards, also many of potential buyers would rather join bounty campaign than invest to ICO - again less rewards for bounty participants.
I hope that we will see some regulations here and bounty campaigns be more strict in rules and they will choose only the best participants.
So, what is your opinion, guys?

If you feel the reward is not appealing, you can choose not to participate.
From ICO organizer's point of view, they prefer to see more participants.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Daily Airdrops - In one Topic! on: March 17, 2018, 07:14:04 AM
I think most of the airdrops are not worth your time.
It is better to participate in some good bounty campaign.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy? on: March 17, 2018, 07:11:39 AM
I think cryptos have just bottomed out for now. Probably is time to buy.Everyone seems to be shit scared.  Opinions?
As you can see, there have been many downs since January.
We don't know when is the bottom yet.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The investment on: March 17, 2018, 02:49:54 AM
I have to admit that I should have cut loss when the market was clearly heading downward.
I just don't wanna admit that I am losing money.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: March 17, 2018, 02:48:04 AM
Good day,
Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?
If yes do I need to sell all alts and wait for rising BTC?
What to do now ? I am confused!!!!
It seems to be a good idea to sell all altcoins the time of this post.
You can back back them with at least 50% discount now.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 17, 2018, 02:45:35 AM
I believe cryptocurrency will take fiat's place in many countries in the near future.
It will also be widely used on line.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] OriginTrail (TRAC) - First Purpose-Built Protocol for Supply Chains on: March 17, 2018, 02:04:43 AM
OriginTrail has been one of the most stable coins in my portfolio these weeks. Especially in satoshi, it has outperformed nearly all other coins.

 Kiss TRAC

I also noticed that.
It means the community are confident about it.
TRAC will have tremendous growth once the market recover a little bit.

Is not that is just that TRAC hit exchanges like 5-6 weeks ago and then price as usually decrease to found bottom. It found it a week or so ago and after that just cant go lower as the rest of market went last few weeks.   TRAC it simply don't exist long enough to be compared to others.  This month is actually first normal month for TRAC. And from now on we can compare it.

Anyway, I am satisfied with the performance of TRAC so far.
It will be interesting to follow TRAC as it goes to success.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: LiveTree ADEPT [SED] Main crowd-sale is now LIVE! on: March 17, 2018, 02:01:51 AM
I'd really say that this is currently the most interesting ICO running out there. And centered on a very original field of activity. If LiveTree will be able to deliver what promised it could really disrupt the whole business of media production and dramatically change its current founding paradigm.
That is true.
Hope the team can attract more investors and make this project a successful one.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO $ 5000 on: March 17, 2018, 01:58:02 AM
Agree with topicstarter ETH should be around 5000 dollars till the end of 2018 or Q1 2019. Also i watch some famous trader video, he told that ETH will go to the moon and will be around 5k after summer.
Regards.
I am not that optimistic.
It would be great if ETH can make ATH this summer.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: March 17, 2018, 01:56:05 AM
It has been tough for altcoins since the beginning of 2018.
I hope you are right that it will get better in Q2.

I still think that there will be a very large bullrun coming in 2018... Right now seems to be quiet but there are still a lot of new investors coming in and crypto isn't going away anytime soon
It seems lots of investors have been converting altcoins into bitcoin.
Of course the trend will reverse some day, but I don't know when.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [15 Feb-28 Feb] on: March 13, 2018, 02:05:52 PM
I researched a bit more. The CEO has a website credits.ru since 2011 and had 11 odd devs earlier. They would have tried to acquire credits.com earlier. Clearly they are not fly by night. Only question is whether they achieved 1mn TPS
they said they managed to 300k tps.
we asked for proofs and they banned us from telegram channel.
thats not how a legit project works.
thats how scams work.

Totally agree.
I am so surprised that CS can be kept above its ICO price for a long time.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Spectre.ai information - Beta live on: March 13, 2018, 01:56:17 PM
Spectre.ai - How proper application of blockchain technology could change retail FX
___
https://financefeeds.com/proper-application-blockchain-technology-change-retail-fx/

That is great.
Spectre.ai is one of the few projects that are making good use of blockchain technology for real world purpose.
The potential is unimaginable.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Incorporation, Fintech, Banking, Exchanges on: March 13, 2018, 01:52:02 PM
Selfkey is suitable for working on a global scale. In this he reminds me of the amount promised by the creators of the Safinus investment platform. But their IСO has not started yet, and Selfkey already shows results
Yes. Selfkey is ahead of its competitors.
I hold 10% of my portfolio in Selfkey. Hope it will turn into 20% as it grows.
