181  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2016, 10:06:17 AM
The best approach would be to invest few grand currently and wait for the price to increase to say 2-3k per BTC then sell them. You won't really get rich but your money can be doubled if you invest properly.
The question is what is your plan to get rich not how to possibly make a few thousand. There is no guarantees btc will be increasing to anywhere near 2-3k there is more chance it will not but that is another discussion.
My plan is to just keep on gambling until I become rich. That's a good plan isn't it.
wow it is a risky plan. gambling can make us rich quickly. but gambling also can make us destitute quickly.
It is a very risky plan but I could make a lot of money out of it. I hope I become rich soon.
The delusion is strong with many of you. You will end up broke.

Dont plan to get rich from buying and holding btc that is just retarded.
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: What type of gambling has been more lucrative for you in the long term? on: January 24, 2016, 09:33:52 AM
In the long run there was really only two games that could be lucrative in the long run. Poker and sports betting have done me good, however i cant give exact number but i am in profit just last year as side bets around 3k. In the past i have lost that on roulette. More than likely over all games i am even but would have been in profit had i focused on the main two i mentioned.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: You guys need to relax on: January 23, 2016, 09:46:43 PM
NOOoo...

The price swings up and down and the emotions swing up and down and that is a big part of what makes crypto so exciting and attractive.

What would it be like if BTC just stopped at $400 and stayed there.. Boring...

I wonder if BTC would have less liquidity if it wasn't so volatile because many people would stop trading it.
They are a big parts of crypto and a big reason why i am here to be honest. The volatility can be your best friend or worst enemy, depending on like you said- your emotions at the time. Fear is for suckers who have invested more than they should have. I agree with op that people need to relax and not worry over the swings. More important things for our energies.
184  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2016, 08:53:42 PM
Trading on Poloniex

Everything is so fast paced, panic buys and sells, trollbox full of FUD & lies, you'll lose your BTC in an instant unless you're part of some PnD group  Shocked
Poloniex could have been any exchange you chose. The above named is the best of them and nobody is forced to listen to anyone. 'especially through a troll box' lol. I have traded there for over a year and am not part of no group but am in profit. So it sounds like you need to learn a thing or two and maybe not trade or blame on an exchange. Saying that my worst mistake was an investment in a couple of alts but over all its all good if you dont rush and get emotional with trades.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 23, 2016, 08:04:04 PM
very bad Manchester United lose 1-0 at home and Man Utd have damaged all my parlay. I am very disappointed Angry
They have been so boring and bad since the great fergy departed. My only team from a 5 team parlay to ruin me was Manchester United, again! This season they have done it to much i think i will be leaving them out in future as i have done Chelsea. Or maybe even start betting against them lol
Positive agreed, I saw in the newspaper Mourinho always superior when meet Arsene Wenger. Chelsea also get a big win in their last match 4-0. so i think Chelsea in the high confidence now

Mourinho always more superior, wenger has only 1 win against mourinho at it was at the last match of premier league winner and FA cup winner. The other match end in draw or wenger lose always but the odds for arsenal to win is better
Jose Mourinho need a right momentum to rise Chelsea in EPL, but I don't think so if he can beat Arsenal this weekend. Mission impossible I guess, since most of Premier League teams have known the strategy of Chelsea.
Mourinho is a great manager they still have a good change to win this game.
Mann catch up Mourinho was sacked over a month ago and you are replying to a post 4months ago.. Arsenal will win this game for sure.
186  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: January 23, 2016, 07:48:25 PM
I only  use a little amount to do some trading to increase my volume. The majority I have in my private wallet

Thats great. I use to go with online stores to purchase some accessories once in a while. But rare Mostly I use to hold the bitcoin in my wallet for my long term saving. Better you also could have do that. Smiley
I really wish that I could save my Bitcoin like you guys. I can never resist gambling away my Bitcoin.
You can save your btc like alot of people do but you choose not to. It sounds like feeding an addiction is more important than the good feeling of being able to save or spend on something that you or family need. Try it next time you are to want to gamble, buy something or make a decent investment instead.

I made some good alt investments the last week so i kind spent but have it returned with profit.I am looking forward to being able to spend more in stores, at the moment there is not much for me to spend on what i like.
187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: January 23, 2016, 07:12:46 PM
Interesting how people are so obsessed with bitcoin.
Why not paypal? Just because you're paranoid about not having your payments traced?
Maybe you should not buy illegal stuff. IMO.
Many more billions are obsessed with paper that is printed out of thin air and is totally worthless, why are they not obsessed with wrapping paper? I am sure there are many reasons from many people mine is, nobody controls it and it is decentralized. Nobody has a license to print billions of btc's. No body is in control of my funds and limits what i can and cannot spend or freeze my btc should they wish. I could go on but i think you get the gist if you have a brain cell. None of the above is for buying ILLEGAL stuff. To answer original post will it be the number one currency-No i dont think it will but it will along side all currencies which is just as good.
I have to admit - you have a good point - last year I had an account frozen - so yeah - I agree with you on this one.
A few days ago it was said that bitcoin will die - let's hope not.
I am glad you see my likes of btc and that you see the sense and the big difference over the current system. Yes you have to be very careful with bank accounts, luckily nothing has ever happened to mine but ido have friends like yourself who have had problems with them. People are always saying btc is dead i think about 90 times and each time it comes back stronger. I will continue to believe and have faith regardless what some trolls think.
I dont think that is possible.

Of course believe in it. It is possible for bitcoin to last long. only distractions in market price can be found in growing firms. This clearly indicates the bitcoin is in its growth. People getting much attached to bitcoin.

I also believe in bitcoin's future. That's the reason I keep on some bitcoins every month regularly. I believe on like one satoshi price will be 1$.
So you believe in wishful thinking the price is going to be ridiculous high but not the tech and possible future of the blockchain etc, i see some disappointment in your future.

Campaign managers won't be interested in your post quality.
After seeing this comment i had to take a look at your high standards. Needless to say as expected pot calling kettle black if campaigns are interested in your post quality they will also be interested in his. I think escrow would be a good idea and you must have a figure in mind what you are looking to be paid for 70posts? In short are you looking for higher pay than offered by current open campaigns at hero rate?
190  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: January 19, 2016, 09:19:00 PM
We notice that whenever the bitcoin price spikes, people start spending bitcoin. If the bitcoin price is stagnant, no one is spending!
I am curious where you notice that from, here? It does make perfect sense that when btc spikes people spends, that is a good time to spend. Nothing goes up indefinitely. When it takes a dive there is little reason to buy things if you are not happy with the price. I invest in things when the price dives and tend to have more of a gamble.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 1BTC can eventually be worth $11M on: January 19, 2016, 03:17:11 PM
When we start bitcoin trading with base unit as Satoshi, things will change drastically. Usually all companies do this by "splitting" their stocks.

I think that is the other way around. When the bitcoin price becomes very high, we will start using Satoshi as the main unit of bitcoin.
If you read the post above correctly that is exactly what he said. This thread and the dreamers of $1million plus per bitcoin is quite amusing. Isn't it amazing we are all going to be rich for just holding a bitcoin or two. When people will wake up they will quickly realize.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be happy if Bitcoin remained as it is now? on: January 18, 2016, 07:40:52 PM
no, i need the price to be much higher, to buy more thing, because sadly i'm not sitting on thousand bitcoin

and adoption means also more website that accept bitcoin, that can help the usage of bitcoin itself, which is needed
Your honesty is wonderful and i too would like to see it at least over 1k before i started spending more than usual. Most of us are not sitting on that many either you are not alone. Im thinking over wanting the price to be higher i would prefer for the adoption of btc where i can spend it nearly anywhere that i pleased. I believe that is a matter of time.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD... on: January 18, 2016, 07:29:35 PM
As soon as the price dips like 10 % loads of people say bitcoin is dead !!! ohh no.

Guess what.... Its not dead and it won't die
Yes the 10% drop is usually what brings the same broken records from multiple accounts who claim this dont actually believe it but they have their own reasons dont they? Articles and news want views and are also probably paid by some big timers to spew out the death of btc to cause the panic which we see over an over. Must be annoying if someone keeps falling for it.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 18, 2016, 07:12:43 PM
I thought, gambling is a pastime of most people, because the victory is obtained when gambling was so beautiful, that's what makes people so interested in gambling
Gambling is not a past time for most people as they do not gamble. Most people who do gamble do it to win big from experience.
I do not know, gambling such as taking drugs, there is something that draws us back to play, even those who have stopped though, maybe it's because it makes us more excited when to play because in gambling there is something very interesting for players  Grin
There is nothing very interesting for players who gamble. Well i speak for myself but would like to know what you think is very interesting for players of gambling?

BTW you both sound like and write the same and if i was a gambling man would say you are the same.
195  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your daily bankroll limit? on: January 18, 2016, 07:02:06 PM
My daily bankroll limit is 5 mbtc.
I try to make profit  every day.
I hope in the future to allow a larger amount.

That is good having a low limit but is that a low limit for you? The problem i see there is that you keep trying to make profit everyday? For how long have you tried this? Hopefully you wake up before getting a larger amount and blowing it in future.

I dont think that keep making some profit everyday is become a problem, earning 0.01-0.03 per day you will get 0.3-0.9 each month which is that is a good thing. If you say that is impossible let cut it to half 0.15-0.45 per month which is possible right?
Where did i say it was a problem to earn profit everyday? Are you feeling ok, i mean do you know what gambling actually is? Do you make 0.15-0.45 every month? It is very simple, if you keep playing against a house with edge-the house will win in the end. No matter what numbers you dream up as being possible.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go down 100%? on: January 18, 2016, 12:45:19 PM
Things are pretty much never 100% especially in a free market. The question is where do you think it is going to go? Do you still have the same faith you had before this recent dip? If so then there should be no reason to sell unless you have invested more than you can afford to lose, however i am not saying yay or nay i will leave that for you to decide. I sell some whenever we get massive gains like recently. Never when we are taking a dive that is buying time if you believe in it.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: January 18, 2016, 11:39:08 AM
Some advantages of gambling...

1. You can check your luck.
2. Time pass.
3. Stress buster

1 and 2 are small advantages i suppose but there are better ways to kill time should you even want to but number 3 is not an advantage. It is a stress creator the majority of the time. I would like to meet anyone who relieves stress by losing money i could help them and give an addy. Apart from the obvious profit advantage there is none to me except in poker when you can have the advantage of improving many mental functions, bankroll management and some fun with friends new and old.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Paul Vernon take a lie detector test? on: January 18, 2016, 11:13:49 AM
Not sure where that came from, is vern a proven psychopath? There are feelings of emotions, it is just not felt the same way as it is in others and does not last as long but that is wrong to say no emotions although right the chances are higher to cheat the test.
studies show psychopaths have no emotion. and thus wont sweat, hyperventilate, raise their pressure when asked questions.

meaning psychopaths have more chance to cheat a lie detector. which is why lie detectors are not really used as evidence in a court of law. and only use as an indicator
He would never agree to one to begin with so i dont really care. Another thing even if he was telling the truth he could still easily fail the test which is another reason it is not really used as evidence in a court of law.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: January 18, 2016, 10:36:28 AM
Texas holdem but its not gambling if you know what your doing Smiley
That is not true. Texas holdem is gambling regardless of how much skill 'you think you have' there is always a time you will need luck to win a mtt or leave with a large cash from cash games. You would be right to say you have more control over the game than others mentioned. It is also used to be my favorite type of gambling as you do have more control but poker for money is gambling.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: January 15, 2016, 01:16:21 AM
I prefer to play in soccer gambling we can see directly the process, more fair than casino
not regulated by anyone.
I dont like the slots
So you prefer sportsbetting? That is good, it is also the type of gambling i prefer over most casino games. Not because i don't think casino games are not fair because they are. All casino i have ever played at in the btc world have been probably fair so that closes that one.
