181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why I Don't Do Bounty Campaigns & Why You Shouldn't Either on: February 22, 2019, 05:03:07 PM
So a few months ago I did some bounty work for a company called Swachhcoin. Like many of you, I spent countless hours developing and creating posts that highlighted key features of the platform. Fast forward several months...they tell all of us bounty campaign participants that we will have to pass KYC to receive the NEW swachhcoin tokens (SWACHH). My previous Swachhcoin tokens (SCX) are now worth $0 and I will have to do KYC to get my new usable tokens. Also, they set a monthly limit of how many tokens we can sell. We will receive 10% each month to prevent dumping. I like this idea, but NONE of this was presented during the bounty campaign period. I also bought 2 ETH worth of tokens and they've delayed the project at least 2 times! To me, this is unprofessional, ridiculous, and outlandish. Sorry for the rant, but this is the exact reason I've been slowly putting my money into projects that I think have a future. I'm trying to stay away from the bad apples and put some leftover money aside into Bitcoin, Nauticus, Ethereum, EOS, and even XRP.
It's a matter of how you choose the bounty campaigns that you will join in. Actually, if you choose other bounties that are good, you don't need to spend money and still get a profitable amount of money. So next time you choose to do bounty again, be careful what you pick.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Hate KYC !!! on: February 22, 2019, 04:52:56 PM
What i know,  KYC means Know Your Customer ! Bounty hunters are there to Support ICO Project to spread the word about the project .. BUT as soon as the Project manager mention KYC then many  Hunter run away  ! Why? Is it
I really think that KYC is a good thing if the project is also good. KYC has being done for the security and to abide some laws. But if you think that the project is not worth your risk of your identity, then don't pass KYC. Be careful because some of those projects uses it for their own purposes.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: February 22, 2019, 04:03:49 PM
Hey guys I have different criterias:
1) ICO rating site

Actually, I would not recommend you to look on the ICO rating site for the reason that it is not 100% legitimate. Some of projects paid this ICO rating site for them to get a nice rate and to lure investors to go and let them invest.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen Now for ETH? on: February 22, 2019, 03:48:10 PM
Ethereum has just dropped under $100. And last week we watched what is coming back for Ethereum. It tried to reach $150. For now, it does not succeed.

Ethereum would reach 150$ sooner or later or even more then it. The market has been red for the rest of the year and I believe that this Q1 of 2019 will be very good at crypto. There are lots of crypto news too that says ethereum would reach 250$ before this months end.

186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy now or wait? on: February 09, 2019, 03:43:53 AM
Hi, i am wondering if i should buy a little bit of top 20 coins at current prices, 8th dec 2018, or wait until the market gets lower. What do you guys do?

I think the right time is now since market cap is red everywhere. Buying now would make up a profit in the near future. But I suggest you focus on great quality of the coin than quantity so you can manage it easily.

189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project? on: January 21, 2019, 07:42:08 AM
Can you help me choose projects? Last year I met 15 scam projects. very depressed.
You should look for the project's legitimacy and team. ICO ratings are sometimes legit too but you should be careful because some of them are paid so that they could get high ratings. Bounty manager could be a factor too. Btcltcdigger is one of the bounty manager that I recommend to you. He don't accept scam bounties so a chance of being scammed is less than the other bounty manager.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: January 11, 2019, 04:30:22 AM
How do we free crypto from the hands of whales.. manipulating the market??
I guess what we should do is go with the flow. Just sell when you have a profit and buy if you think you wil have a profit. That simple. But ofcourse, you should make your research first.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign on: January 11, 2019, 12:03:01 AM
Can someone clear me out for these 2 things?

What is the difference between Airdrop and Bounty Campaign?

Thanks
Airdrop is where you do easy task such as follow twitter account and like facebook page and get tokens amounting to 5-20$ while bounty this is where you can do articles signature camaign and translation that can pay up to 500-1000$.
192  Other / Archival / Re: What's your all time favorite cryptocoin? on: January 10, 2019, 11:51:47 PM
Up to now, what is your #1 favorite cryptocoin, and why?

Bitcoin , for the reason that bitcoin becomes the fundation and it gives other cryptocurrencies ideas. Besides, bitcoin gives me a lot of money back in the days.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Scam projects on: January 10, 2019, 11:39:25 PM
Guys, faced with the project, took part in the bounty, the result of Scam. Took part in another bounty company, there ICO ended more than a month ago, and the payment has not yet been the bounty Manager is silent...Apparently this year's bad in respect of ICO projects.
If you are doing bounty,  make sure to check first he legitimacy of project and don't just work.  Work smartly.  It's not convinient to do all the projects in bitcointalk.  Just do the worthy ones.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never buy too much coins because you would eventually forgot gosh on: January 10, 2019, 11:23:17 PM
So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin

I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?

I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful

Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
That happened to me already, lost about 250$, and I am so pissed when it happens but it also taught me a lesson. Always keep track on your coin and be updated to it so it will not go to waste
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.. on: January 10, 2019, 11:07:02 PM
It is really hard to detect scammed bounty campaign.  After completing all the requirements to be able to get accepted in a bounty campaign, spending much time to participate in forums and not to mention carrying their banners, completing all the tasks and reports then all of a sudden you will just find out that you have been scammed already.  luckily I am not the only one but to think all participants did the same efforts as well as you did.  But it is really happening, lesson learned and could be just charge it to experience and move on.  If we could only find out at early stage if we were in to scam or a legit bounty campaign.  Who would really know anyway?
Well to be honest,  it is easy to know if a bounty is a scam or not. From their website alone and their rating on ICO bench will let you know that their project is scam if it is poorly done. Their project too,  if it is too good to be true then there's a great chance that it is a scam.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And the dip continues on: January 10, 2019, 10:51:06 PM
Lately the crypto currency world in terms of trading is not predictable
Another round of dip is ongoing just before a potential hardfork for etherum

I thought there should be massive demand for etherum
Why is there a decline ?

Probably a reason why everyone has to be smarter in their own capabilities
It's reason is probably a shory term dip and it will not last long for ethereums price will come back again to its 150 place and later on 250$ place
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any bounty rewards after August 2018 ? on: January 10, 2019, 02:28:31 PM
Hi,

I have been doing alot of bounties but getting no rewarding coins. The coins/token that i have received are all just in the wallet and not on any exchange and alot of my participated bounties have just disappeared. So i was wondering has anyone received any bounty rewards that they have exchanged for bitcoin since August of 2018 ?

The last token that i was able to cash out were in August of 2018, What about the rest of the bounty hunters ?
The last time I cash is november where in I earned 400$ from a project SAM. I just get luck because I've sold some of my token at the price of 0.17$ each and now the price of it barely hits 0.01.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What token do you expect in 2019? on: January 10, 2019, 01:53:11 PM
We'll be stepping into 2019 in less than 3 weeks.
What token do you expect to see rise in 2019?
I personally say ethereum of course will rise this Q1 OF 2019 and there is this token called sgamepro wherein one of their partners is pewdiepie so I think it's value will rise.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: January 10, 2019, 02:20:54 AM
We don't want luck we want to get paid for hardworking ,bounty that was once about how hardworking has now turn to 'how lucky you are' ,something must be done about this ,any ideas??? Since all devs makes use of Bitcointalk forum to advertise and draw people attention bitcointalk will Be the easiest strong wall standing between scammers and investors
Letting your hardwork or your luck to gain money is not the way but working smartly. In this way, you could choose and save time in every project that you exclusively pick because of it's potential and because of its team. You should not do all the project in bitcointalk and say that your hardwork will pay you off because there is a great chance that 95% of those projects are scam. If you choose wisely, the probability of getting a bounty that is a scam might drop to 0%.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: January 10, 2019, 02:02:30 AM
Ether has dropped to $ 90. Should I buy more under the prospect of growth or look at other competitors? I'm interested in your opinion, which of the Altcoins dedicated to smart contracts is the most promising?
Well, it is evident now that the eth becomes 150$ and I am certain that there will be another bull run making the ethereums worth around 250$. If we would wait patiently, we will be benefited from it.  If you buy more now, you will still gain around 60-70 % and it is still a win.
