Are you sure you have the WinUSB driver loaded correctly?  Recheck it with zadig. What are your lights doing? Sounds like you may need to contact your reseller for  some help/suggestions/trouble shooting.

Success with Win10 means you can mine.  Rarely will it do the 750Ghs stock rate. Also there is no ckpool.org anymore so I don't know what you would have been mining to.

Edit: pool.ckpool redirects to the solo pool

Edit 2: Here are mstrozier's instructions on how to install on a Pi.  They can easily be adapted to a Linux machine too.  Also review the instructions on the top post.

Well if you read many posts then you should know you need to forget about Win10.  It SUCKS as it really screws up USB communication.

In the meantime:

1. What Power Supply are you using?

2. Set your frequency to 550Mhz.

3. Set your voltage to 4 or 5.

4. You don't say what pool your using, but use solo.ckpool.org for testing purposes with Bitcoin mining.

5.  Use the --gekko-noboost or --gekko-lowboost options which were for trying to get Win10 to function.

Aside from that you need to setup a Ubuntu Linux machine or get a Pi 4 with raspian Linux.

Good Luck Smiley

Yep, Linux does make the difference.  And the Pi 4 Hardware is really neat and nifty.  I like it.

miner is hashing away now to see if it will actually perform better than it did on windows.

Did you get the Pi 4?

Did a quick search on this topic for "repair" and didn't see anything related to sending R606 Terminus units back in for repair (if it's even possible).

Your supplier should process the repair for you.  You should contact them first.

Not from me.

I was going sell mine for the price of shipping, but I was too lazy to get a quote and pack them up.  Sorry about that to whoever that was.
187  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 2% fee solo mining 256 blocks solved! on: June 30, 2020, 04:15:16 PM
We could lower this to 0.1 per user if everyone thinks 0.125 is too much.

That was 1% of the 12.5 BTC Block.  So now shouldn't it be .0625 for the 6.25 BTC Blocks?
188  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Solo mining or lottery mining on: June 30, 2020, 11:06:48 AM
In regards to solo mining or lottery mining does hashes matter I’m currently running my AntMiner u1 for fun

Only one hash matters, really.  The one that meets or exceeds current difficulty.
189  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Stats don’t show in Url web search on: June 30, 2020, 02:43:14 AM
Hello everyone I have a minor issue I setup my AntMiner U1 to this pool
Miner is mining its getting hot, it shows almost 2g so it’s working to my knowledge but when I input my btc address from my ledger nano to check my mining stats at solo.ckpool website shows no stats I just set it up so Is there a waiting period thank you

It will take a while for that low of hash rate to find a share and for the pool to adjust the difficulty down.  You wont see any stats until you miner submits shares.

What I wanted to know is whether my old account would still be stored in the system or would I need to create another one?  Can’t for the life of me remember my password but can provide email addresses. Thanks.

Just reset your password on the web site.  You can also create another account if you like.  It's up to you.

Mine have three.  When I first got them ck worked with me a bit to get CGMiner to work with them.  Then they worked great for about 6 months and one died and had to RMA it.  When I got it back it had updated firmware and would never work with CGMiner again.  I tried the mainline BFGMiner and it wouldn't work either.  So I ran the BFL supplied hacked BFG Miner until I retired them in March f 2016.

And I was using USB on Win7.
193  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hacking BFL Monarchs and servicing them while times are weird. on: June 19, 2020, 11:03:46 PM
Sure, its worth a try.  But I was never able to get BFGMiner ,Mainline, to work with either of my Monarchs.  Only the original hacked version that BFL supplied worked.  It sounds like that's the version he has too so he should be good to go.
194  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hacking BFL Monarchs and servicing them while times are weird. on: June 17, 2020, 01:39:18 PM
I think mine has the firmware that doesnt work with CGMiner.

Is there anyway to change it

Not that I'm aware of.
195  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hacking BFL Monarchs and servicing them while times are weird. on: June 17, 2020, 12:30:48 PM
Id like to fire it up again just to get the pumps and fluid moving inside, but i doubt it would work with any of the currrent versions of BTC miners or windows. And im not sure of the older miners that support the Monarchs will work with the current forks of BTC.

CGMiner will work just fine, UNLESS, your unit has the latest firmware which was made to explicitly to break functionality with CGMiner.  If so then you would need the old hacked version of BFG Miner.

You should be able to mine any Sha256 coin with it.

It will use an atrocious amount of electricity.  You would be better off getting the Gekko Science R606 which will surpass the Monarch in performance but use only around 100 Watts.  You would loose allot less money in electricity and have allot less noise and waste heat.

Os2sam,

I just tried to add the --gekko-newpac-boost and it won't open the cmd window

That is not a valid command.  ASIC Boost is enabled by default.  There are only commands to throttle it or disable it if need be.
197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac Stickminer Official Support Thread on: May 22, 2020, 03:59:30 PM
My Questions are; how to put more than one stick in the command lines in the .BAT file. Also, I don't see a '+' symbol at the end of my miner name in cgminer. How do I enable this?

You don't do anything to your command line.  Just plug in more miners and CGMiner will add it in automagically.

The + shows up after the number of chips.  Such as:

"0: GSI 10040114: BM1387:12+"

If the plus isn't there then your pool may not support ASIC Boost.

I re-read the announcement post and it says 5 Watts not 5 Amps.  My bad.

But, it would still be a good test.  If one works reliably then add one at a time.
199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience NewPac / Terminus R606 (BM1387) Official Support Thread on: May 20, 2020, 01:32:49 PM
I assume you mean running 1 stick while inserted in hub?

Yes, that is what I meant.  The announcement post states that these consume less than 5Amps 5Watts which would imply to me that they use over 4Amps 4Watts.  So I wouldn't expect your 8Amp power supply to more than one ? stick miner since the hub probably consumes some power for itself.

It's a good starting point to check.

Hello All, I am new to using Newpac. I am running 5 total using gekkoScience hub and power brick 8Amp. I find when mining whether it is at 100,200 or 300 it always Zombies. It tries to recover and does a few times but when I come home cmd script is closed and no longer running. Can it be that they are not getting enough power? And if I were to tweak voltage pot is there a way to read what the voltage change is anywhere?

Does one stick work?
