181  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETCOIN.AG steals referral on: October 02, 2019, 05:18:38 AM
To be completely honest with you, this isn't the first [or even second] time that I've heard stories about Betcoin not crediting affiliates with referrals. I hope for the best, but I think you and I both know how this is going to end up. Good luck!
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: October 01, 2019, 02:55:09 PM
Imo this is theft from the investors.
We paid 2% of our investment amount to get in and get on average .75% of each bet and suddenly this gets lowered to 0.5%.
a commission lowered does not mean your money is stolen. in a few months, you will definitely get a profit and the 2% commission we paid at the beginning is definitely back. I believe the reduction in commission is only to balance company funds.

stealing is if your money is really gone. I was on the neutral side, and only helped to set the record straight.

Were there terms in the FAQ that said the Bustabit bankroll investing structure would/could be changed at a moment's notice?

You're right that it isn't stealing, but it's also not what investors agreed to when they joined.

What are some features that you like to see in an online sportsbook [aside from good odds and open to Americans] then? This question goes out to anyone by the way, not just glider101. Full disclosure: I personally think Nitrogen Sports is the second best online sportsbook in the world [as of 9/26/19].
Since you're asking this to everyone here's my opinion. If I have my own rankings I would put them in the top 5. What seperates them from the other sportsbooks i've experienced is how fast they process things to be more specific i'm talking about bet settlements and withdrawals. Additional betting options like both team to score or team totals. If those would be improved in the future i'd be encouraged to switch and be active once again.
Thanks for sharing Smiley You made some very good points, especially when talking about bet settlement speed. As for adding more betting options, I think many books would like to add them, but don't have a large enough player base to make it a feasible option yet. Just my guess though, could be wrong.

I didnt think people actually still used this sportsbook with all the new options available.
I know they are friendly to Americans but other then that, this sportsbook sucks  Undecided

Not arguing in the slightest, I'm genuinely curious in your opinion.

I don't know if you remember but there was a MTV show called "Buried Life" and basically they had a list of stuff to do before they died and one of them was to make a million dollars. So they went down to Las Vegas with like $125,000 and were going to bet it 3 times to make it into a million. And they bet the $125,000 and won and then they took the $250,000 and bet it and lost. So the largest bet was $250,000.

What an interesting concept for a show, I'd watch it. What casino game did they play trying to double up, roulette? That's probably an easier "50/50" game [than craps] for a non-gambler to understand, especially watching on television.
188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 25, 2019, 03:57:21 PM
Commission Rate is 10% by default (10% of what your referrals wager):
Being a Stake affiliate means you will earn money on amount wagered - which unlike traditional affiliate programs, includes money that is both won and lost.

I can't find any concrete evidence, but I'm guessing the commission rate is 10% of the house edge, not total amount wagered.

Similar crypto gambling sites have adopted this affiliate structure, as opposed to traditional CPA (cost per acquisition; ex. earn $20/new depositor referred) and Revenue Share (affiliate earns/owes X% of referred players wins/losses) models.

While I don't like the changes, I understand that they needed to be made.  Thank you for the detailed responses @Devans and an even bigger thank you for just being upfront and honest with us.

I would like some clarification as well, particularly on these two points:

Quote
The operator may permanently delete accounts that have not been accessed for two years and may make usernames of deleted accounts available for use with new accounts again.

What constitutes inactivity? Is logging in okay, or do wagers need to be placed?

Quote
All funds of deleted dormant accounts including their balance and any bankroll investments are forfeited by the user and assumed by the operator.

What happens with the bankroll investment in this case, is it dispersed among other bankrollers?

192  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoSlots Now Featuring $10K Crypto Lotto! on: September 18, 2019, 02:58:18 PM

You have just tried this site, haven't you? So you must notice that the minimum bet in this site is $0.1 IIRC which worth around 960 satoshi at the time I write this post. How small the faucet you recommend them to add while the minimum bet is 960 satoshi? Usually faucet on gambling sites worth around 100 satoshi these days, even if they add 1000 satoshi faucet then it will be useless as you can use it 1x play only. Faucet is only suitable for gambling sites with low minimum bet as 1 satoshi up to 100 satoshi, otherwise the site with a bit higher minimum bet will need to spend too much money for the faucet.

Good point. I'll just add that CryptoSlots is often promoted alongside a few larger online casino brands owned by Slotland Entertainment S.A., so it's not like we're talking about an unknown brand trying to get noticed either. I don't think starting a faucet is very high on their list of priorities, although it would be a nice touch.

They then continued to wager and had accumulated 249btc total wagered just in 25 minutes in the 2 hour race. So to put this into perspective second place was at 3btc. Embarrassed

Dang, that's insane!  Shocked

Hi Nitrogen team,

Great service.

However, this is confusing:

The second password is the number of Google authenticator. I don't think this is intuitive at all! Last time I almost panicked because I couldn't login and thought my password got hacked. Luckily the support later informed that the second box was Google authenticator number, my suggestion would be to make it more obvious, clear, I bet you have many customers contacting the support because they get confused too?

Thanks.

I've never had an issue with this, but looking at it now I can definitely see how someone could get confused.

The wording should probably be rephrased to include the words "2FA" or "Two Factor Authentication".

It's more fun playing it HU anyway.

I really do not agree. 3H is more complex and therefore more interesting. There is no better feeling than sunrunning a 3H game and winning 600 pts in an hour hahaa !

True pineapple players always play 3H.  Cool

I wish I knew this feeling  Cry All my worst sessions come when playing three handed.

Bertbert has been the subject of several complaint for many years by mix and pineapple players mainly for this kind of acts and for repeated button steals. Support has always been responsive and has sometimes offered compensation. However, I suggest another way to deal with that sort of behavior : downgrading the krill status of the players who are at fault. It would be a good way to encourage them to behave well.

+1 I agree there needs to be some sort of oversight to the OFC.

Downgrading their Krill status? Hmmm, interesting.

ps : lol at glitch's reaction.  Grin

His reaction is funny until you realize this is an employee representing a business. This is unacceptable behavior, hopefully he was just having a bad day. We've all been there before! Angry

2 1/2 months have gone by, any ETAs? "Weeks or months" have passed, the leaderboard was supposed to drop before that.

After 4.0 hits (I refuse to call it a refactor), can we finally have 2-7NLSD back? I don't even dare to ask for the circus games.

Can you give us anything that gives us hope you're actually trying to populate this site? Because it has been exceptionally dead the last couple weeks.

In SwC Poker's defense, we are in the peak summer months, so I'd imagine traffic numbers should be significantly lower than in the fall/winter. But that being said, business is business. If updates are promised, it's in SwC Poker's best interest to keep players informed on any progress made.

In my opinion, it's okay to miss deadlines or fall short on projections [unless it becomes a habit] as long as everyone involved is well-informed throughout the entire process. Hopefully SwC can provide us with some answers shortly!

You could also do winning with 7 2 bounty tables at NLHE.

Very cool idea, never seen anything like this implemented (aside from player-to-player side bets).
