The race today someone bet 10btc on one single dice bet and lost. But it didnt stop there. He was at 83btc total wagered during this race according to the leaderboard but everyone was wondering who this player was as they were hidden.

Craziness. Whale among the whales basically. Wagering a 10BTC bet and losing is itself insane, but wagering even after such a loss is something else entirely. This guy probably counts a single BTC as a dollar or something.

They then continued to wager and had accumulated 249btc total wagered just in 25 minutes in the 2 hour race. So to put this into perspective second place was at 3btc.
This is certainly a record for stake during the races of total amount wagered in a span of 30 minutes.
Usually see at this point in the races total amount wagered by 1st place to be about 3-5btc.

What I would like to know is if he won more than he lost despite wagering literally millions of dollars(249 BTC = Around 2.5 million dollars roughly). Whale indeed.

It wasn't for race for sure, I mean if it was for race dude would have played only a bit more than second and if the second increased we all know he has enough to bet more and always stay on top, he probably wanted to just wanted to play and that happened to hit the race time perfectly. It has happened before I think, I mean people do gamble a lot of money all the time, just recently someone bet 100 btc or something if I am not wrong, there are those crazy dudes who do stuff like that on stake plenty of time, just not as frequently as other small ones (obviously) and it could totally happen to hit the race date.

If it was all about race he would bet like 10 btc and leave, he would still be the top on the list and still get the rewards for it. Wish I had that kind of money so I could just have fun all day as well but I am sitting here betting 10-50 satoshi per bet . It is still fun to me honestly and it is obviously in my budget as well.

Yes I remember getting burnt badly a few years back on Primedice when I would take very high odds of winning bets just to get a higher wagered BTC so I could up my rank. I would do something such as 98% or so and I would bet like 1 BTC for the first 10 rolls or so and wait for a loss. And when I got a loss then I was safe for the next 98 rolls, or so I thought.

Basically it was going well and my rank was going up and what happened was that on 98%, I think I had 2 losses within 10 rolls of each other and it was an bad loss. Even with the wins, I was still down maybe 0.65 BTC or so. But at least I got my higher rank. Keep in mind this was when BTC was like $200 a coin. Now I would never risk that much.

Yes. With just this one bet they got to platinum vip membership and somebody calculated their referral would of received 0.5btc in commission with just this bet alone. That is if they even had one.
Usually with these players who place one single huge bets like this do not continue using their accounts afterwards and view it as disposable and never use it ever again.

I might find myself on the losing, minority side here but ....
as odd as it may sound , I prefer the good old football with referees making  mistakes 
and what is the definition of fairly , since now VAR is the decision made by 3+ people who review the moments instead of just one

Madrid was already down by two weren't they? I mean surely it could have been at least 2-1 loss for Madrid team but at the end of the day I am not entirely sure the game would change too much. PSG was playing much better and ended up winning 3-0 anyway, the only way you can hope for a comeback was if that goal was allowed and than Madrid scored again without allowing PSG to score but I feel like by the way teams played it was more like Bale vs PSG and it would have been really difficult to do anything about it.

Hence, I feel like the game ended the way teams deserved it to end, Bale showed how awesome he is, PSG showed how much better they are than Madrid. VAR is not decentralized or provably fair neither btw I have seen even with VAR referees giving bad decisions.

The weekend megarace was a good one as first place wagered nearly 25btc to take the 0.15btc prize. Well done to them!
But second place was far away with 19btc total wagered by the end of it. They just ran out of steam I guess.
In the last 3 minutes they were at 16btc but then bet 1btc per minute afterwards to see if they could possibly over take the leader but it was not to be.
The one in first place wasnt betting anymore as their number didnt change at 24.9btc for the last 15 minutes as everyone was watching their stats closely.

There is alot of talk going on about the psg vs real madrid game and this was just one match which stake tweeted about.
