181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: November 23, 2017, 09:24:34 PM
This is not just a question for newbies. I will admit I do not know how to answer this question. I agree, everyone talks about 10,000 before the end of the year. And if not. If it drops to 7000. Are you ready to lose this money? If you are willing to take a chance - then buy. If not, wait for the price to drop. Keep money ready to buy. It can fall for a short time.

ETHERDELTA, feel the power of a decentralized exchange.

You call that power? Etherdelta stands on a great idea, but bro, the user interface is horrible if you'd ask me. There are countless tranzactional errors, which cost you tx and so on... I would recommend some solid ones, like: Poloniex, Bitfinex.

BUT it is on the Etherdelta new tokens appear. And only then after days, weeks they are on other exchanges. You can grab a sweet piece of cake. This company (Etherdelta) did not collect money for ICO. Yes, the user interface is total shit and with transaction errors I agree. But I hope this will be fixed in time.
The awful interface and transaction errors are the highlight of the Etnerdelta. This will never fix))) But the fact that there you can change tokens, which are nowhere in nature is not added to the listing is cool.

It's cool, but I think EtherDelta is not for the newbies. EtherDelta accepts every coin out there, scam or useless, EtherDelta embraces it. A newbie could easily buy a coin that it's gonna prove useless. Other trading platforms have respect for the users and accept only coins with solid projects.
My advice for everyone is to do your own research before buying a coin. I know that YoBit is faking coins, for example the real HERO tokens, with the ticker "PLAY". On YoBit there is another coin with the same logo, same ticker, same name on the trading page, but when u go to the wallet, u see a different name. YoBit misleads people to buy different coins for a way cheaper price, while it is not the same coin. I advice people to stay away from that big scam.

Yes, I read these terrible posts of people who fell into a trap. They paid money for Waves, but received WaWes. It's horrible.

Can I add to this and ask what the best trading platform is for people who'd struggle with ID verification? I'm living in a different country so there are so many additional barriers!

I trade on different stock exchanges Bittrex, Poloniex. But, if you ask without ID verification.
This is ETHERDELTA. It is decentralized and there is complete freedom.

185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How fast Bitcoin is spreading. on: November 23, 2017, 08:27:10 PM
It's amazing. I wish you luck tomorrow. I think you are littered with questions. Starting with "How do I create a purse?" You should tell about hackers, private information and storage of keys solely under the pillow. Smiley And ending with questions - "How much money do you personally have?" Do not tell them the truth. This is not necessary information, believe me. In general, this is a very interesting experience.

187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash replace Bitcoin?? on: November 22, 2017, 11:19:38 AM
You could earn with Cash. But I did not dare to buy this coin. I saw the fall of such bubbles in an hour. I'm not sure that I could sold it with a profit if the price had gone down. This is just manipulation, the game of major miners. As an altcoin, it can compete with other altcoins, but not with bitcoin.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: November 22, 2017, 11:10:30 AM
Crypto currency allows many people to increase their incomes. I agree with what was written above. From myself I can add. I hate banks. I believe that they are very arrogant. Crypto can make banks very good competition. And banks will have to react and change for the better.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo wallet on: November 18, 2017, 11:49:32 PM
Yes NEO has wallets, you can use a light one which is NEON Wallet and can be installed on PC. Dont go for third party wallet as they are not secure!

I also use NEON Wallet. Quick installs on the laptop. Security is still in question, since NEO is not yet very popular and many keep it on the stock exchange. Because they are not sure whether they want to store it or want to sell it.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myetherwallet who use this? How much ETH holding? on: November 18, 2017, 11:29:08 PM
No one will tell you how much he has coins. I'm using Myetherwallet. To be honest, I did not quite understand the MEW. Long time to install, then update. After posts that MEW is safe, maybe I'll try again.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst Whitepapers on: November 18, 2017, 10:19:33 PM
In fact, 90% of the airdrop-project's whitepapers are a total nonsense. They only talk about how they will go to the stock exchange and make everyone rich. The texts are written with a pencil on the knee.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin will make us rich? on: November 18, 2017, 10:05:37 PM
If the rumors about NEO are true. That I would invest in the first ICO on this platform. Not necessarily in the long term it will be successful coins. But at the very beginning at the peak of excitement and expectations, you can make good money.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 18, 2017, 09:44:56 PM
I bought different altсoins for bitcoins in the summer. If you count it not in dollars, but in bitcoins, then I'm at a loss. Therefore, I do not hurry to sell my altcoins. I calmly wait for the development of the market.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China to allow ICO's again, only on NEO platform on: November 18, 2017, 09:36:42 PM
If this is not a rumor. Then we are on the verge of a new round in altcoins. NEO is a completely different platform. I've heard even about a new stock exchange that will trade coins based on NEO. This can become a boom in the near future. And if it's a rumor, then NEO will drop very fast.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban Bitcoin mining ??? on: November 18, 2017, 09:08:43 PM
It'll never happening Smiley). You should know that almost biggest Bitcoin mining factories are being located in China, the amount of money the government get from taxes of these factories everymonth is very huge so I don't think they will ban Bitcoin mining for any reason. But if they will do that I think it'll really bad cause the amount of Bitcoin these factories provide to the world cryptocurrency market everyday is very huge so it'll be a big lost if these factories will be forced to close.

While i would normally say i agree with a assessment like yours in this instance i have to disagree.  China has lots of bitcoin farms not because they have such ultra cheap labor. The reason is because China subsidies for the electricity heavily in their region. Therefore technically someone one could probably use antminer s3 and make good profits as of today. The same goes for people in Venezuela thats why Venezuelan government has bitcoin mining illegal. That does not stop people in Venezuela it just makes miners split up mining operations between a group of homes.

The Chinese government itself receives dividends from mining. Who will kill the chicken that carries the golden eggs? Maybe they will propose to mine another currency. If there is news about the support of this new super currency. Perhaps the price will soar and some of the miners will switch to another crypto currency. But on a global scale, this is unlikely.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real ? another fork of bitcoin ? BITCOIN DIAMOND on: November 18, 2017, 08:54:34 PM
This is another unsuccessful attempt to cash in on the big name Bitcoin. There is no basis, no arguments, only water. If I were younger, I would play these games. You can earn a little easy money, you can lose it. Rumors are always just rumors.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1.7 Trillion USD - and a question for bitcoin investors on: November 18, 2017, 08:43:51 PM
For all you bitcoin investors - would you be happy with seeing 90% of your value lost now, and then have to wait 17 years just to get back to where you are now?

Or is it time to cash in before it is too late?

It's a rhetorical question, right? Do you know anyone who would be happy to lose on an investment? I don't.
It lost 90% in a couple months, so it didn't happen overnight. There would be plenty of time to cash out. Also, an investment is as strong as the will of the community and Bitcoin's community has proven to be strong and dedicated. We had so many crashes and they always ended high, above the point from where the pumps had begun.
If the technology is working and you see no reason to get out, why would others do? Ask yourself this if you're scared of it falling.

When I lost my job and most of the investment was due to the fall of the exchange. I was in despair. However, I got the knowledge.
Bitcoin has no signs of a bubble. No one can destroy it and run away with the investors' money. Here are quite different tools and principles.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of Year Predictions For BTC Price on: November 18, 2017, 08:31:41 PM
I think the price will reach a peak of $ 10,000. Then many people want to make a profit and start selling coins. The price will fall for a while. Then it will equalize. And stop at around 7000 dollars. But I'm a bad predictor, after all. This is just my opinion.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 10, 2017, 11:07:47 PM
Initially, the question sounds "Are you surprised by bitcoin price now". When? Now? 7500, 6522, 6800, 6666. The price jumps from the news, from articles, etс. In principle, all the jumps up from good news - a free coin, new projects that are bought for bitcoin, people's expectations and a lot of noise. And the fall is connected with the correlation. Do not be rapid growth until adulthood. Well, CASH is accompanied by a fall. I am amazed at this.

Why the hell is my activity level not going up? I have 70 posts and 28 activity and only 13 hours logged into the website.
Activity increases by no more than 14 in 2 weeks.

Then how can this guy have 30 posts and 31 activity if it only increases by 14 every 2 weeks? He should be at 28 or 42 activity.

I'll try to explain by example. If from the moment of registration it's been a week and you made 1 post, your activity 1. If you made 10 posts in a week, then your activity will not rise above 7. That is, 7 per week.
Next week you can make 1 post. Only 11 posts and your activity will also be 11, but not more than 14. So it's clearer?
