181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays channel deleted from youtube on: April 25, 2020, 07:56:09 PM
It's actually saddening to see this. Was this also brought down because it's crypto-related? Cause I've been hearing some news that YouTube (or Google) is against crypto-related channels and is shutting them down.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig W. only claims to be Satoshi, because he knows the real Satoshi is dead? on: April 24, 2020, 02:53:25 PM
I had this thought when I watched that video. The only way you can actually claim ones position in life is mostly when the person is dead. Good point but.... No matter who's dead and who's alive, bitcoin lives till the day after tomorrow!! ♥
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The growth of cryptocurrency on: April 24, 2020, 02:49:24 PM
1. It's so saddening that my daily love has nothing to do with crypto because the stores I buy from don't accept crypto but if it's online, everyday, I do things related to crypto. In fact I spend most hours talking about cryptocurrency.
2. I've been here just a year and some months. Maybe it's not "just" IDK.
3. Friends are mostly the main gateway to cryptocurrency. You tell a friend who'll tell another friend and the chain continues. So, I actually knew about it from a friend (after I thought I'd never deal with crypto). 😀

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 90% Of Project Bounties Are Scams on: April 23, 2020, 02:11:28 PM
It's quite unfortunate that there's no eyes that can fully differentiate between a scam bounty and a good one. In everything we do in life, there's always a bad part. Just do what you can and leave what you can't. And also, don't put too much hope so you don't feel too bad when something goes wrong.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: April 23, 2020, 08:38:41 AM
For starters there are many reasons to consider while listing a token
1- the Market Condition
2- The type of exchange
3- project Road map e.t.c
Many project tends to follow their road map and hence takes a whole before listing and also if the market isn't that good at the moment, many projects differ their listing so as to enable the market to stabilize before listing while some will also consider the type of exchange as a good exchange I believe wouldn't be that cheap to list in

Except from that, some project owners take longer time to list sometimes because they know that listing at that moment wouldn't be helpful to the project.

Satoshi? 6th? That's by the way. It's really pleasant to hear about your son. Knowing bitcoin at his age is really helpful because he'll be deep into it before age 20 (if he's serious). It's also amazing that he codes! Maybe he'd own a blockchain platform which he might have coded himself. Keep cheering him up.

What's next? Your question has been answered by dbhsck and NeuroticFish, so you should understand it

I'm shocked you're an old user ( registered in March 25, 2019) , but still don't understand about forum rules. If you want to reply many user, you must create it in 1 post only.

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

And your thread should be in Beginner & Help since your questions is not about bitcoin news, community or environment

Quote
General discussion about the Bitcoin ecosystem that doesn't fit better elsewhere. News, the Bitcoin community, innovations, the general environment, etc. Discussion of specific Bitcoin-related services usually belongs in other sections.

Just that most blogs aren't always specific about what they are saying.

It's why you should search more and verify it. Not only not specific, most of blog also give false information, scam, or clickbait to get more attention from public to visit their blog.

It's very rude to bash people unnecessarily. You signed up days ago and you're already this way. Trust me, in this community, you have to learn (with manners). You can always prove a point in a more respectful way. Also, learn to respect people you meet over the internet, especially in forums like this (where you don't have a clue who're you're talking to). Friendly advice my dear friend.
190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we have information mixed up this way? on: April 21, 2020, 12:06:06 PM
It's true. You must have mixed it with bitcointalk.org anniversary (November 22).

Oh! 🤦🏽‍♂ That just came in my senses. Slip of thoughts I guess. But then, Some blog (in fact, most blogs) say that bitcoin was created in the month of October or a month in the second half of the year. To be honest, I can't remember hearing that bitcoin was created in January let alone the 3rd (Beginning) of January
191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we have information mixed up this way? on: April 21, 2020, 12:01:28 PM
Well, there are many dates. You can read at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto
In August bitcoin.org was registered.
In October the white paper was shown to the world.
In January the genesis block was created (so our blockchain) and the first Bitcoin was mined.

So everybody's right, in a way or another  Wink

Well, talking about the date bitcoin was created, it can't be the second half of the year cause it was the later things that was done then. Just that most blogs aren't always specific about what they are saying. Some blogs would say bitcoin was created in October 2009 whereas that could be misleading.
192  Other / Beginners & Help / Why do we have information mixed up this way? on: April 21, 2020, 11:36:56 AM
I really don't understand this. I actually thought that bitcoin was created somewhere around the second half of the year. Cause I've seen something like that somewhere in a blog. Besides, we celebrated the 10 bitcoin anniversary during the second half of last year. So how come am I getting this that bitcoin was created on the 3rd January. Is that true? Or another false information?

195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Searches of Bitcoin on: April 20, 2020, 02:15:52 PM
To be honest, I'm not any surprised about this. Because, I have been saying that within this period, people will get to know more about bitcoin (even tho they refuse to invest). Cool.... Huh? We'll, the main issue is that they results they find on their searches could be negative. It could convey something that isn't true about bitcoin. So, it's not just about that increase, it's about what they saw, learnt, and believe.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5G & Bitcoin Risks? on: April 20, 2020, 02:11:48 PM
Actually, it is very possible that your service provider can hinder you from making such transactions. I can verify this based on a feature my service provider gives. This feature allows you to view specific website only. If they could do that, they can keep you away from connecting to your wallet or maybe a bitcoin related site.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We'll know Satoshi Nakamoto when the time comes on: April 19, 2020, 03:42:00 PM
It's obvious that no one is seeing my point but only that I mentioned Satoshi's name. To end this, I'd rather lock this topic so I don't get to continue seeing multiple comments saying the same thing over and over again. If the point I tried to make can't he seen then maybe I shouldn't contribute here at all.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We'll know Satoshi Nakamoto when the time comes on: April 19, 2020, 12:37:24 PM
If you're not obsess to know him then you should have not created topic regards him because we got plenty of that stuff already here in the forum. Even me wants to know who really he is, where he is from, I want to know the every detail of him and the bitcoin but I won't keep bothering myself from things that is vaguely to happen for now. Most of the people says that he is already dead, I'm partly believed on this one coz if he is not then he could have claim the throne as early as bitcoin reaches the ATH.

Easy man. I don't think I committed a crime to share my thoughts about people's concern towards the creator of bitcoin.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We'll know Satoshi Nakamoto when the time comes on: April 19, 2020, 12:18:51 PM
People need to stop the obsession in knowing who Satoshi is. The dude did us good by creating a great alternative to the current financial system, and they're going to repay it by trying to find out who he/she/they is/are? Especially knowing that Satoshi obviously don't want to be known due to how much privacy precautions he/she/they had. Let the legend rest peacefully.

I'm not obsessed about knowing who Satoshi is. The thread is to tell those who are really obsessed and concerned that all what they are seeing is fake and someday, they'll get to know what they really want to know without having to be confused if it's for real or not. That's just it 🤷🏽‍♂
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We'll know Satoshi Nakamoto when the time comes on: April 19, 2020, 12:16:33 PM
There are so many conspiracy, theory and whatsoever things beneath the  real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto Nd even up till now no one can prove his existence if he is still alive since as of now the fakes are showing up and I wonder on why he didn't show up and didn't make a noise when someone claiming his identity if he's really alive but hopefully his still stepping ng on this earth and show since for sure his presence could bring a hype.

You know, I just thought that he actually could be dead too but, the fact that he is mute while different people claim his identity doesn't mean he's dead. A lot of people are good at not saying a word even when you expect them to. Who knows, maybe he has a plan or something. We'll, if he's surely breathing on this Earth and is of sound health, then someday we all will know. Anyone can mark my word on this cause someone will see this thread on that day.
