181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 24, 2020, 06:59:19 AM
I've heard projects with Escrow would be better and pay off. I ended up following one of the escrow projects and it ended up being the same. I think things are really tough and this situation can't be fixed, even by the bounty manager.
Escrow only fix the issue of team evading distribution, escrow projects aren't scam free, you still need to do your own research on every projects, many escrowed bounties from bounty detective team turned scam or dead and I glad I ignore the projects then, honestly those projects are purely bad and bounty detective team can't smell it
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether (USDT) be really called decentralized cryptocurrency? on: October 24, 2020, 06:54:50 AM
The first sentence in the white paper of Tether (USDT) says the following. A digital token backed by fiat currency provides individuals and organizations with a
robust and decentralized method of exchanging value while using a familiar accounting unit.

Now don't get me wrong. I use USDT a lot, in fact I love it. The fixed price of $1 while being a cryptocurrency makes crypto transactions for purchasing services easy and beautiful.

But I keep thinking of how original paper money was created. In history we had gold for trading. Then gold became inconvenient so bankers offered to hold gold for paper that verifies how much gold is owed to customers. Then this paper became more convenient and was used instead of gold with the trust that its backed by gold. Then this paper a long time later became a currency that isn't backed by gold anymore.

Could the same happen with USDT. If everyone decided to claim original $$$ with their USDT, would Tether Limited issue it all making the price worthless?

Anyway the point I am trying to make is that Tether (USDT) is centralized around the Tether Limited's will to keep it going. This company is basically like a bank too.
USDT was never a decentralized platform right from day one, I don't know where you see this information from, USDT never even tried to go decentralized, they are like ripple but stable coin, the only decentralized stable coin I knew of is DAI but still I prefer USDT and BUSD
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 21, 2020, 05:43:38 AM
It's not easy to live on after losing your job, of course it's certain that the pandemic will have negative effects on crypto investors portfolio, we have to survive and live on, the more money you make the more money you spend, I think there will be better crypto adoption once this pandemic is finally over.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I feel sorry for the EMIREX bounty hunters $20 for 9 months of waiting on: October 21, 2020, 05:04:27 AM
The bounty campaign ended just over 9 months ago the token was credited on the bounty hunters account dashboard on Emirex the value then was $ 0.47 cents the token on the bounty hunter's dashboard is locked and  will be released this October 28 after 9 months
https://bit.emirex.com/ieo-announcement-3

Now the price is now trading at $0.18 I have a friend here who had 130 Emirex tokens valued now at $24 down from $49 it was such a long wait for $24, imagine waiting 9 months only to receive $24, this is how disgusting Emirex is, they should have released it much earlier.
Then pray for some pump or surge, anything can still happen since the token is an exchange token, now that bitcoin is surging its better to collect and hold, you don't want to be left out once bullrun starts, have you ever seen tokens that surge after bounty hunters dumped their shares? DIA is a good example
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: October 20, 2020, 06:27:35 AM
Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.
Project name --  Xfinance

Is it belongs to Which one ?[ A or B  Huh?]

I don't know much about Xfinance, I'm guessing it's another DeFi project? Well if it's good enough you should know since you can figure out which projects are scam just by checking out their telegram groups, I hope you know the crypto investment rules, do not invest what you can't afford to lose
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 20, 2020, 06:23:28 AM
DeFi and ICO aren't the same thing, DeFi is a use case and ICO is fundraising events for new projects, even there hypes are different, ICO projects are of different types and they have different ideas and teams too, many ICOs are dead today but some still survives, DeFi in general is the same but scammers are building theirs just like they did in ICO days but it's very easier to avoid DeFi than ICO in those days
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: October 19, 2020, 09:54:27 AM
If you are interested in a token and it's only listed on uniswap you must look for the token telegram group and contact the admins or team, ask them for the token smart contract and use that on uniswap to get the actual real token on the decentralized exchange
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: October 19, 2020, 09:52:54 AM
Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?
The news have been going around on this forum about scam tokens on uniswap exchange, the scammers steals other legit projects name and use it to create or build fake tokens, there are few tokens with same name on the exchange, you need to be extremely careful and observe very well before buying any tokens on uniswap
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Little Experience with USDT - TRC20 on: October 18, 2020, 07:55:02 AM
Though we are able to enjoy this low transaction fee on Tron network/blockchain because the coin is still very cheap, if Tron reach 1$ someday the transaction fee will never remain the same again, I believe the higher the token/coin price is the higher it's transaction fee
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Little Experience with USDT - TRC20 on: October 18, 2020, 07:53:14 AM
Hello Guys, today i made a little withdrawal from my Houbi account to my Binance account using usdt trc20,  actually this is my first time withdrawing usdt using trc20, when i input the amount i wanted to withdraw, i noticed there was no transaction fee quote below in the withdrawal page, and i thought it was a glitch, so i hard to redo it and it was same as earlier so i just went ahead to complete the rest of the withdrawal process, then after confirmation my withdraw went through and same amount ($150) i withdraw from houbi appear in my binance wallet without any transaction fees,
i was surprise to be honest and equally happy Cheesy
thanks to eth high transaction fee that made me discover this,

Do share your thoughts and opinion or experience too.
Lol, I've stopped using USDT on ERC20 since the beginning of this year because Tron USDT is just way cheaper, it doesn't cost up to 1 Tron coin to send transactions on Tron network, now I'm a big fan as I use Tron to store USDT instead of Ethereum, things might change for Ethereum soon if the 2.0 update get launched this November 2020
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Message to Bounty Managers and Participants on: October 17, 2020, 08:41:56 AM
Yesterday, I bump into this thread, the member was complaining how Bounty cheaters used ones details to register on campaign without their knowledge. This is mostly carried out in social campaigns ( Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn....... and the worst one is Telegram)
I have been a victim of this people and I have complain several times, I don't want to receive a negative trust from DT member, it's difficult to convince them when they sight two addresses participating on a Bounty.
I came across a thread that suggested to give negative trust and feed back when one cheat and used your account details but little did I know that scammers are smart individuals.

The first one I dig into was this Bounty that is currently managed by Wapinter.
I am participating on social Bounty but to my surprise someone already used Bitcointalk (Princejebs) account to registered for Telegram campaign.
Another cheater registered my Alts account (Gurujebs) that has been last seen February to register with different address that's not own by me.
See the images below.

The above image, the cheater used my account to register with his/her own address and Telegram Username.

The image shows my own registration

Another cheater using my Alts to register Bounty. Isn't this a problem for me already, I never registered the first and the last.
Here is link to the spreadsheetclick here
Bounty managers are also responsible for this actions, they failed to used #Proof of Registration for social Bounties because they only care about raising a large community, I mean how can Telegram campaign have  registered participants of 10k in just 3 hour of Bounty launch?
Now, it will be difficult to trace this cheater and it will look funny to give my self negative trust.

Here is another spreadsheet from DEGO concluded campaign, the cheater used my account, I have complained to the manager to delete the second entry, I'm still waiting for the her action.

My entry registration.

Cheater entry.
Link to spreadsheet, click here
There are other spreadsheet I'm still digging and I wouldn't be surprised if I see the same thing.

As suggested on this thread to always look out for this cheaters, Bounty managers should find an alternative way to submit works, provide proof of registration in every campaign. I know how busy it's to be a campaign manager but please don't ignored participants when they complain about multiple registrations.

The question is do you create POA post? If yes then the cheaters have wasted their time because through proof of Authentication the bounty manager can easily erase other false campaigns in the spreadsheet, this is one reason why I hate social media campaign and telegram, there is always too much spammers in this campaigns
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: October 17, 2020, 08:38:51 AM
Scams are hard to get rid of, but experienced bounty managers may not recruit potential scam projects early in the review process.  Let there be fewer bounty campaigns, but they will be of higher quality.
We don't blame the project that did the scam. We have to blame the stupid participants who continued to follow the scam campaign even though it was clear and was told by senior members that the project was a scam but forced to join.
That's not always the cases, sometimes legit projects end up scamming participants, I've seen few projects that get listed on top exchanges but refuse to send tokens to all bounty hunters, others hold tokens for years until you forget them, all you will get is they haven't launch yet, why introduce a bounty campaign if they aren't ready to launch the project yet?
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't you stop rushing to promote bounty from a scammed bounty manager on: October 15, 2020, 08:35:24 AM
Some bounty managers have been known to promote scam projects and I believe because they have users who rush to sign up, they keep being agents of scam project and not escrowing rewards.
More is that, the reasons bounty has been paying shit is because you rushing over it and they decide to list below, compare it with 2017 coins.

I believe some users are getting worried and fade up on lack of fulfilment of bounty promises at the end because the promises are not met as you either get scammed or the worth of your thousand units is = to a dollar ($1) at the end of many weeks.

When you work for months and dump total worth for $15 (rare case) if you get up to that, you have just paid for your data usage. What about your time? Inconveniences etc.

They take advantage of hunters that participated and not pay reward with different excuses which are :

1. KYC introduced while it was not started from beginning:
Know your customer is actually not necessary in a decentralized setting, all you need is to guide yourself or company because decentralized system should guarantee freedom. Why then introduce it at the end, to prevent participants from receiving their labour. I believe most times, this is to push out because if they are genuine, they should state it clearly from beginning that KYC is a necessary factor to receive reward. Example is bubbalex, his bounty has been one of the most sincere type I have read, from beginning to end is the way it is done. To
time for listing, times and dates for distribution.
All information about the growth of the project in different SM channels, medium, Twitter, telegram. No KYC introduced at the beginning and to the end.

2.The excuses of launch of website, app, main net, sales , soft cap are all reason you should understand you are wasting your time especially when you get shit pay.

What you can do if you like the project and you are not sure of  the promises

Save up to buy if you don't have money, you can wait for it when it is listed and dumped, you buy cheap.

If you have not checked this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230885.msg53975958#msg53975958
You are absolutely right, what I feared about bounty rules is that the rules can be changed at any time, this is what gives many bounty managers the right to ask for KYC even when the bounty thread says NO KYC, they are simply abusing the rules tbh

The only thing we can do is follow bounty managers that takes their reputation very serious, like bubbalex who doesn't joke with his fellow bounty hunters and he makes sure they get paid as promised, find good bounty managers and wait to they introduce new campaigns
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 15, 2020, 08:23:42 AM
Its easier for scammers to create new accounts and deceive investors or scam them but it's will be a bit hard for old accounts from Sr members to legendary members to scam or promote any projects because once the account get red trust it's over, this is why high ranking members need to be very careful with any projects they promotes.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: October 14, 2020, 05:17:18 AM
Very interesting, but I believe there must be further confirmation regarding the reason for the discontinuation of the project and its handling both from their official channels and from the Manager in charge of it.
Many where fooled that kingcasino team will return investors fund but till today it's all empty words, and ClipX team said they've get rid of bounty hunters data but how true is this? I don't believe such words, KYC data is big money especially if it's many, I'm happy I never joined any of these bounties because I felt that they aren't good enough.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: October 14, 2020, 05:07:36 AM
It's never a good thing to be too greedy, OP let greed consume him, he failed to sell his coins even when they are at all time high, this is wrong, the reason for long term hold and short term hold is to make good returns, I doubt we will see huge market gains of 2017 once again, everything is timing, know when to let go
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in Binance on: October 13, 2020, 06:46:53 AM
Don't diversify with too many altcoins. Why don't you want to invest in bitcoin? and are you holding your altcoins on Binance and leaving it there as is?
If that's what you do, for holding, withdraw it and hold it to a wallet where you hold the private keys.
You don't get it, OP is holding his coins on binance because he is staking them for monthly rewards, if you read carefully you will see that he is making ROI with the binance staking program. He also know the difference of having your coins in your wallet vs having the coins on a Centralized exchange, to stake on binance you have to leave your coins on binance
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 13, 2020, 06:28:32 AM
I am a Bounty hunter and I know 99% people working on Bounties they really work hard. Now days bounties are really worthless. 90% Project is fake and Scam.
Entire project is nothing but a money stealing trap for immature investors. This guys are running bounty campaign and interesting to see that bounty hunters are joining blindly without checking the project is real or fake. Even the bounty manager who is managing the campaign didn’t feel it necessary to check the project deeply. This is why scammers are using bitcointalk as their source of income.

Many Bounty Groups they arrange bounties blindly without verify team and Project . They only using bitcointalk for income. They not understand our efforts , hard working.

Event Bounty Detective Group one of the biggest Bounty Group they also Provide fakes Project Like
1- Kingcasino
2- ClipX
3- Terracredit ( looking me suspicious)

ClipX Collect Our KYC and Then They leave from all social media Platforms. They also delete their Website.

When ClipX Bounty program start They not Required any KYC after Bounty program end they said we have to passed KYC for claiming the Rewards many people did but
They not given any amount for this.
Are you sure it is a scam?

because there are 2 possibilities for a new project.
1. Truly a scam, automatic money investors are taken away.
2. The project failed so that the bounty program and others do not get rewarded.

Try to pay attention to your words, or you will get into big trouble. because the project is mostly filled with experienced and reliable teams. and most of them have legal attorney
The case with kingcasino is not about failed project or not, I'm not sure about others like ClipX but I'm certain about kingcasino, their offers are too good to be real, this was why I walked away and after they exit scam there was some hurtful words from the scammers that says theyve scam investors, not everyone was aware but I was among those who saw it, we need to be careful when looking for new projects to promote, always make sure the team are genuine
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No Nonsense Mining Software Recommendations? on: October 12, 2020, 07:08:23 AM
I'm looking for a GPU mining software that will payout to me in BTC and doesn't requires mobile apps in order to withdraw. It doesn't matter what coins it mines as long as I can cash out in BTC and preferably with a low minimum withdrawal limit. I used to use hash.fish until it disappeared off the face of the web. I tried NiceHash and BetterHash and they both require mobile apps to withdraw. Any recommendations? Thanks
Nicehash requires only your wallet address for withdrawal, once you meet the payout threshold you will get paid, ive been using nicehash since 2017 so I'm talking from experience, I don't know where or what mobile app you talking about, Nicehash is useable on web or mobilephones
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 12, 2020, 07:00:04 AM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

Everyone wants to make some money online, one must start from somewhere isn't it? Not everyone has a good teacher to put them through so they learn by themselves, we have to start from somewhere even if we will fail, those who failed or get scammed will learn their lessons and adjust in time, everyone has greed in them and most don't know how to control it, this will take time
