I made a similar guide a couple of years back. This is a topic I believe newbies will find very interesting and I think it is good that you brought this discussion up again.

Chelsea have been doing okay since the start of the new year but I think this is where the decline will start for Chelsea FC. Despite all the signings Todd Boehly made, there is still a lot of problems in the Chelsea team in terms of injury crisis. Their top striker Nicolas Jackson will be leaving to play in the AFCON tournament. Tomorrow they face Fulham at home. How is Chelsea supposed to cope without their top striker?
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 11, 2024, 11:19:06 PM
There’s no logic in this theory. What I see is that your friend has a gambling addiction and doesn’t even know it. Keep in mind that when you repeat the same thing everyday, it becomes a habit. Habits can become addiction. Unless you’re planning on becoming addicted to gambling, I strongly advise that you resist the temptation of gambling everyday.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 11, 2024, 10:59:09 PM
Take casino games for example especially jackpot casino games there is no way you can tell me that all of them are structured in such a way that they randomly always make money for the house if you ask me gambling is a fraud that has been used to trick people into believing that their choices matter it does not everyone that gambles is just there to make money for the casino unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about human nature 💔💔💔
For those who do not understand how casino games work (I doubt if there is anyone here who doesn’t), this may come as a surprise. It is true that the odds are stacked against the gambler and the house has the advantage but that does not mean that the machines are rigged. The systems are only designed to give the casino a house edge.
This doesn’t stop us from trying our luck at gambling. Gambling is a form of entertainment. Don’t get carried away by it.
185  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 11, 2024, 10:25:32 PM
Excessive gambling is detrimental to the life of a gambler no doubt, stories, facts and truths have proven this that they suffer a lot of pressure, tension, loses and frustration. I am also concerned about the impact of gambling on the lives of those dependent on the gambler like his immediate family(wife, children, parents and siblings). I have heard stories of children whose early lives were messed up due to the bad habits of gambling addiction of their fathers. A very recent one is one account in this forum which created a topic staring his hatred for gambling and backing his claim with same ugly story of being a product of a home where the father is a gambling addict. He stressed that it ruined his father and affected him disastrously. I know how painful and frustrating it is when your foundation its poor, and the negative effect is massive.

So I want to ask, between the gambling addict and his immediate family, who does the addiction affect the most?
I think the family members or partner of an addict have their share of suffering, they are the ones who have go through the suffering and pain of having to deal with their loved one in such a unpleasant condition. Most times, gambling addicts keep their gambling habits a secret from their partner and it’s easy to conceal especially when you’re playing online. And when the signs start to show, some serious damage has been done and it’s often too late. I think the people around suffer more because addicts can get help from therapy and group sessions but how often do family members of addicts go to therapy?

The easiest way for Sancho to return is to perform well in Dortmund and wait until Erik Ten Hag is sacked  Grin I completely agree that ETH positioned himself wrongly in the club - he thought that he could be the “big boss” instead of cooperating with the players and this led to conflicts (I’m sure, in addition to the open conflict with Sancho, there are also other hidden ones). Maybe this model of behavior worked with young players at Ajax, but in serious clubs where there are already established stars, you cannot behave this way. In the first season, he was forgiven for a lot because there was a result, but now he has no trump cards.
Yeah Erik Ten Hag misused his power as manager. I understand he was coming from a different league to manage Manchester United which is top club in the premier league. I think ETH wanted the players to know he was in charge and in the process made himself a villain. No player will want to play for a manager they don’t like. There was no bonding between the players and the manager, perhaps ETH had in mind that he was going to make a overhaul of the team and saw no reason to bond with them. For his first season, Ronaldo was made the scapegoat and took the blame for the team losses. Now we can all see that ETH is the problem.

I don’t think Sancho should have moved back to Dortmund, he could have gone to a big club in the EPL and build his career. Dortmund is a good club but they are not a trophy-winning club. His career is not going to grow as fast as it would if he was in a EPL club. It’s likely that Sancho will find his form now that he is back in Dortmund, the Bundesliga is easier than the premier league. The club has always been a young star development club.

I wish Sancho and Erik Ten Hag could have settled their differences, Manchester United signed him for a lot of money, it’s a shame to see him go.

It’s easier to introduce Bitcointalk to someone who’s not new to bitcoin. They already have an idea of how Bitcoin works and are enthusiastic about learning more about bitcoin. Telling them about a forum that’s all about Bitcoin will surely be something that they will be interested to hear. They do not need to know about earning opportunities in the forum, signature campaigns and bounties are of no importance to them.

After Richarlison's great performance at the World Cup, I told myself that he would be Tottenham's first striker. However, this season he hasn't performed as expected. That's why Brazil coach Fernando Diniz didn't call him to the Brazil national team squad for a while. He explained that his performance was down because he was struggling with a pelvic injury. He is a footballer with a high technical capacity. But he never managed to become the main character of the team.

I thought same but he has not lived up to expectations since then rather has suffered injury trouble to his season which has kept him away for more than a month. I feel Richarlison is so unlucky with his consistency over the years and this has raised a lot of doubts about his impact for Spurs and the Brazilian national team.

Christopher Nkuku has to be one of the most unlucky players in the EPL because since his signing to Chelsea, he has barely featured in 5 games in a row for Chelsea and he is already nursing a second injury of his Chelsea career which is certainly bad business for the club. I hear rumours that Victor Osimhen is discussing a possible move to Chelsea. I don’t know how much truth there is to the story but I would really love to see Osimhen play in the premier league.

Arsenal are currently getting poor results which I admit is embarrassing for a side that showed so much promise at the beginning of the season but this is the game and things like this happen all the time. Luckily for them, we are already in the January transfer window, Arteta needs to add some crucial signings that will make quick impact as soon as possible and get the team back to winning ways again. This is one of those times the fans need to support and encourage the their team and players to keep fighting.

There is word that Henderson wants to return to the EPL. This is due to non-smooth adjustment conditions. Hendersen feels his career has declined since his time in Saudi Arabia. Although he earns a huge salary, he seems to be leaving. He was willing to take pay cuts and fines for leaving of his own volition. It seems Henderson is under pressure because he failed to lead Al-Ettifaq to victory. Maybe he can play for Crystal Palace, Fulham and Newcastle. They're looking for a midfielder and maybe Henderson is a perfect fit.

This is no surprise at all as few other players like Firmino have expressed disappointment in their move to the Saudi league saying it has not been favorable since they joined. A move back to the EPL could really benefit him knowing how much experience of the league he already has and a side like Newcastle, Fulham or Crystal Palace could really favor him, he would get playing time and the respect he deserves.

This is my take on the EPL at the moment. I think it would be more difficult for Arsenal to battle it out with Manchester City now that City have got all key players back in the team. Arsenal seem to be the ones who have lost their form. Aston Villa are also firing at the moment but I doubt they can maintain the momentum for too long. Liverpool also don’t look like much problem for Manchester City at the moment without Mo Salah. Guardiola obviously have an advantage in the race.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: January 08, 2024, 10:31:53 AM
Dortmund's opponent in the last 16 of the Champions League is the leader of the Dutch Eredivisie, which Dortmund basically cannot underestimate. Because PSV is a team that has amazing strength in its local league, Dortmund needs to play well enough and not make too many mistakes. Because in this round of 16, all teams will try better in order to qualify for the more challenging round, namely the last eight, so Dortmund needs to perform as well as possible to win at PSV's home ground.
I don’t see PSV as a strong opponent compared to Dortmund. I think PSV should be worried about Dortmund. PSV struggled to qualify from their group, they have not had a good run competing in the champions league this season which makes me doubt they will be able to progress pass Dortmund in the knockout stage.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 08, 2024, 09:23:14 AM
This season is a tough one, we can see already more than three teams competing closely for the title. Kelvin De Bruyne’s return is definitely a huge boost for Manchester City who haven’t been at their very best level since his injury. With or without KDB, Manchester City were going to win over Huddersfield anyway so bringing KDB on was just to increase the torture and dominance.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 08, 2024, 08:34:14 AM
I think Kelvin De Bruyne has been missed so much in the team. His absence had a huge impact on the team’s performance. The statistics of games won and lost in his absence just shows how important he is in the team. Sits no surprise that Pep Guardiola brought him into the pitch in yesterday’s game against Huddersfield. I think KDB hasn’t lost his fitness level and did well in the game.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 08, 2024, 07:58:26 AM
Liverpool are doing so well this season, it’s no surprise that they are currently leading in the league table. Like many others, I also expected a strong game similar to the last encounter but seeing the line up I knew it would be one of those games Arsenal will struggle to get goals and that is exactly what it was. Congratulations to Klopp and his team as they progress to the next rounds.
200  Economy / Lending / Re: [Question]Would someone give me a loan? on: January 07, 2024, 10:57:21 PM
You can get a non collateral loan if you have a strong reputation, a good trade history or a high rank account. Although bitcointalk accounts are no longer used as collateral, someone may likely give a small loan to a high rank account knowing the owner of the account would not want to risk the reputation damage to his account if he deagyalts the loan. Unfortunately for you OP, you have neither one of these. Your reputation is in question as regards to the feedback you have. You are a junior member rank with no good reputation, because of that nobody in the lending business will want to take a risk on you.
