I do not believe I am highly intelligent at all.
The way I handled this was first I handle all the pm's then I go and check the topic.

Unfortunatly I can not accept any investments past the IPO date.
The IPO was already extended one week so that people would have enough time to gather their BTC.

As always there is the option to ask for a refund until the genesis block has been made. The date of the creation will be announced.
I will not transfer any BTC invested to any other address before the release except for refunds.

Quick reply before I go through the last 10 pages and try to answer everyone`s questions.

The last few days I had to deal with a lot of pm`s taking several hours every day just answering them.
Bitcointalk limiting me to one message every 2 minutes did not help.

Now that the IPO is over I hope things will calm down and I will be able to focus more on the development on the project.

The beta is still available and I hope people will keep giving feedback about it until the release.

There are currently no plans for a whitepaper however everything will be documented in detail on the website in time.
I would rather have a very detailed wiki then a whitepaper that only a handful of people will read.

Maybe I should let the investors decide if they want a detailed website before or after the release.

Obviously there are people for and against alternative cryptocurrencies.
Please stop trying to force your will and give people the choice to make decisions by themselves.

As far as development goes I am responsible for about 90% of it and there is one other person that helps me out with stuff that is not related to the core like the GUI and API. (The API will be completely reworked before the release.)

The release will not be for atleast 2 weeks but should be within a month.
There is still lots that needs to be done to make it a little bit user-friendly.

I can only limit a maximum per transaction because this is public.
Currently the maximum invested in one transaction has been 3 BTC.
Unfortunatly there is no way to tell if users are spreading investments using multiple accounts.

Like notsoshifty pointed out if you want to check if the code is unique just use a packet tracer and see how it transfers data between nodes.
The network uses its own protocol that is built on tcp and not on http.

- double spends are prevented by using a reference system. Simply said whenever you make a transaction you have to include the signature of your previous transaction. You can check this by looking at the details of your transactions.

- The proof of stake algorithm uses a combination of randomness, your generating balance and the time since the last block to determine if a new block is valid. Currently there is no protection against 51% attacks. I will create a detailed explanation of how the system works.

- Transaction replays are handled by the reference system.

- All the transaction data is signed so transaction malleability should not be a problem.

- You should be able to check the total amount in existence by scanning all addresses and adding up their balances.

- Qora is distributed proportional.

- 100% goes to the investors I will invest a small amount the last day of the IPO to make it fair. I might use these for bounties or keep them for myself. When someone does not claim their share in time(2 months) that share will be used for bounties.

- The BTC invested will be used to develop and maintain this currency. No concrete plans has been made about this.

I host 2 nodes for the beta and I think someone else is also running one too.

Oke I see the problem.
This application uses native libraries and the run.bat/run.sh lets java know where it can find those.
If you just run it by double clicking on the jar it will not find those libraries and will not be able to do any cryptographic function.
The best way to run it is to just use the run.bat/run.sh file.
You should also delete the wallet and data folders if they exist.

Confirming your wallet password and handling startup errors is definetly something I need to implement before the release.

Can you please check for any errors on the command line?

Oke so at this moment we have 33 transactions.
I feel that this will not be enough to divide the currency in a correct way.
So depending on the amount of transactions tomorrow I will decide if I will lengthen the IPO for a week or not.
Whatever I decide know that any investor will be notified and will as always have the chance to ask for a refund.
