181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: March 25, 2020, 06:39:05 AM
It seems many scammers are now aware that people run away from too good to be real investment plans nowadays, now they are ready to give fair percentages too just like legit projects

It came to my attention today that many Nigerians fall victim to a crypto fund company in Nigeria where thy are promised 2% daily and 14% weekly, according to my source she never knew the offer was scam because the offer was fair enough, she made a big mistake to have invest a whooping thousand and half dollar in the project, to me this sounds like another MMM stuff but the returns are really fair, well there you have it, this is enough to confuse those who thinks fair returns means project is legit, you are damn wrong

The company in question is purely an HYIP and a daylight ponzi, who the hell offers 60% return on investment in just a month time. Only greedy people still fall for such scamy and shady investments in this current era. I can't deny the fact that most of these scammers are upgrading their mode of operations everyday to fits in to current situations, but this isn't captivating scam move
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: March 25, 2020, 05:54:13 AM
Most questions that bothers newbies, and crypto currency ethusiasts are,

can i join this trade?
is crypto currency bearish enough to trade?
Is it safe to trade now ?
Can i learn trading now ?

Amidst such doubts, and thoughts, i believe as a newbie or established crypto professionals, as long as you have done your research and learnt basic trade strategies.
It is easier to begin as a traders, and if you learn faster, the best.

But the door is always open to new traders or new investors.

You're right, the door is always open. However, the market trend greatly determine the output and profit you gain from trading. Lots of problems are associated with trading of digital assets from new traders not learning enough before jumping into the wagon as well as the market condition. It is difficult for both novice and veteran trader to earn much profit in a bearish market as prediction and technical Analysis fail woefully during this period unlike during during a bullish trend when virtually every cryptocurrency out there do experience frequent price surge.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trending Altcoins on: March 23, 2020, 10:59:49 PM

This list contains the altcoins currently making waves in the entire cryptocurrency market. I can confidently say these project have a good usecases and somes are already with working products.  These coins have partnership with well established enterprises, it's the reason behind day one of wazirx as they partnered with the exchange giant - binance and again the victory of there case against indian ban on cryptocurrency
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason behind recent drops in crypto haven on: March 23, 2020, 10:50:12 PM
For many holders, the recent drop in the price of major cryptocurrencies has really caused a lot of despair, we hope to recover soon and see a bull run. Interesting enough, credible information from coinbase and other similar platforms are still showing that many more people are buying cryptocurrencies and this is really impressive in these hard times.
well indeed for traders who are experts they will use this moment to buy cryptocurrency in very large numbers because they will buy coins at cheap prices and this is a very rare moment so for anyone who bought coins at a cheap price then congratulations you get profit because today the price goes up.

I think anyone that buys any of the established coins/tokens will be in huge profit when ever the bull set in as every crypto assets out there will have their prices surge higher. It is safe to say this is the time to fill up the bag as these coins/tokens are at there lowest price. I'm very optimistic the market will kick back when the threat of coronavirus is over
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In Bearish Phase, Is This a Good Move to safe Capital? on: March 23, 2020, 10:42:38 PM
Much of this month has been a time of turmoil for markets across the world. Even Bitcoin, the primary cryptocurrency, has fallen from $8000 to $5000. Currently, there are no clear signs of whether bulls are going to take control, but Bitcoin’s current oddly high correlation with traditional assets has held its price low. While many cryptocurrencies are now sitting on the stands, stablecoins have picked up. After the recent market meltdown, there had been a rapid growth in the stablecoin demand.

Sure mate, i agree with you. The stablecoins have there marketcaps exponented really high due to the downtrend of the cryptocurrency market. The fall of price of virtually every crypto asset the past few days was massive and nobody loves seeing his investments and cash burn down when in investment and as a result, lots of people cashed out and others switch to stablecoins. With the way things are unfolding, this global crisis seems like something that will be around for quite some time and till the threat is over before we see a stable market
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to everyone today on: March 21, 2020, 11:46:51 PM
Remember the financial crisis in 2008 when banks stopped customers from withdrawing funds? Then drip feeding tiny amounts to customers via ATMs. This is going to happen again, this time it will be worse.

Take your financial freedom in your own hands, Buy crypto today

No doubt, this is the opportunity to fill the bag as virtually every cryptocurrency have their price slashed to almost half, but let's not forget we are in a very dire situation as the entire world is facing a crisis with this pandemic COVID19. If the spread continues (i hope otherwise), the downtrend of cryptocurrency market market will linger and not every cryptocurrency will see the end of the tunnel. The bottom line is when filling your bag, scout and look for tangible projects to invest in
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another price rejection incoming on: March 21, 2020, 11:42:07 PM
I just came across this news today that Bitcoin could revisit 3000$ said the guy who first predicted Bitcoin crash to 3k, I wonder what this is all about, I refuse to accept that this is another Coronavirus punishment on the market, if you are holding top altcoins you should be ready

In as much as this is a type of truth that we often don't love hearing, so far the global crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic still exist, the entire market will be subjected to frequent up and down.  For a whole week now, in as much as the price of virtually Every cryptocurrency is low, we've seen quite a stable karket but I'm very optimistic that after the end of the spreading of COVID19, the market will bounce back normal
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is all set to boom now... on: March 20, 2020, 10:47:58 PM
Guys, I am telling this to you after going through some hard day's ETH sees massive upswing now. It broke the key hurdle of $130 level and gave a solid start and the bulls have gained some momentum in the market because ETH is closely tracking Bitcoins price action at the moment. I guess it depends upon the pump of BTC if it pumps I am sure alts will follow the same.

The sudden price surge was not perculiar to Eth alone because virtually every cryptocurrency assets out there experience a growth the prices. Once we see an end to the global crisis, I'm sure we will be seeing a more stable market as the year 2020 proved before the spread of the pandemic. Eth is a great altcoin and it has always yielded a good  ROI after a massive dump such as this
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's just the beginning on: March 20, 2020, 10:38:55 PM
Crypto will be the biggest thing to focus on from now on because Bitcoin is recovering an stock market is not, once many witnessed this they will finally understand what crypto is capable of, for all of you saying it's the end, well it's just the beginning

Only a person with little knowledge of the potentials of blockchain technology will think this is the end. The emerging tech will disrupt every aspect of the world and we've not seen little of what's it's capable of, a lot of people attributes the downtrend and volatile nature of cryptocurrency market to the entire blockchain but the tach giants is far more than that.  The current price fall affected virtually every investment options not just the cryptocurrency market which i believe to be caused by the current pandemic COVID19 disease. I'm sure the end of the current world crisis will be the end of the current downtrend in the price of cryptocurrency assets
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: March 20, 2020, 10:33:06 PM
Some gift channel groups that no longer function, can they no longer be trusted as managers so that no projects will be managed by them?
Although some of these telegram groups are popular with the gifts they managed before.

@qqwx_bounty
@arnobs_bounty
@KrypitalBounty
@RoyalTeamBounty
@Officialbountyportals
@topbountymanager
@bountiesbybernard
@bountygroupp
@bingobounties
@bountiesbykopisusu
@bountycloud
@bountyhive
@adsistmediabounty
@BountySuiteSupport

Most of the group you listed above belongs to reputable members who have handled lots of good project in the past, the entire decline and downtrend of cryptocurrency market affected every aspect of cryptocurrency, most of them seems foldup but i don't think they are gone. There  haven't been really good projects worth working for and lots of these guys prefer to take some break than to work for every projects that comes there way. I'm sure a little push to the entire market will sprout out good projects and most of them will be back to bounty management.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: March 19, 2020, 02:48:59 AM
Hey

I have noticed a few projects that developed a deflation system for their coins/tokens called burning.

They burn their tokens on a special occasion or simply when someone pays their product with the native token. They burn few percent of the price.

What do you think about this? Imo, if people actually buy the produc then it can really reflect the price of a coin?

Let me know what you think.

Token burning right from the early days of ico has been part of various things project developers do proposed to gain the interest of the investor as the whole concept of token burning is geared at increasing the demand of the token when listed on trading exchanges. However, since then it has been a two way things as some project have been able to increase their demand and the tokens price through it, such a project is binace and at the same time majority of projects found it unsuccessful.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 19, 2020, 02:33:31 AM
Be careful of the influencers you follow on social media like twitter. There was one who was exposed recently of photoshopping his trades to fool his followers and get more subscribers to his paid group. He said he did that to make the images look better hehe. Please follow this thread https://twitter.com/Trapouts/status/1238598898559488000

Cointelegraph also covered the story https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-analyst-accused-of-photoshopping-trade-screenshots.

There will always be scammers who will take advantage of people's ignorance. Let's prevent that from happening to us by learning how to read charts on our own and not solely rely on free and paid signals from random people on the internet.

Well, I'm quite surprised how people still fall for such cheap scam all in the name of looking for technical analysis, the downtrend that has been perculiar to the cryptocurrency market have proven many times that technical Analysis can't work for now especially during this dip. The market is a bit complicated now and everyone is in a survival mode, and when you're in a survival mode, there isn't much space for words like us, we and community but just for words like I and ME. So photoshopping fake trade screenshots are just a way of trying to survive for them scammers, it is your job to stay safe and avoid greed getting you scam
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: March 19, 2020, 02:23:37 AM
Hello crypto lovers,

I have written this article on 5 ways to earn crypto without investing or mining, I think this is very important as it is the best way to introduce new people into the cryptocurrency. The article link it below. Please feel free to share it with anyone who is looking for ways to earn crypto.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/5-ways-earn-crypto-without-investing-or-mining-xozwx?a=GELe3POa69

Do you know any other ways outside of the article? I am always looking for more ways to earn crypto to educate people. Also I would recommend that you look at the blogging platform the article is written on, it's one of the ways you can earn crypto for free.

You create content for people to read, similar to Steemit. There are two ways you earn crypto.

1 - Creating content - Users tip your article, you receive those tips.

2 - Tipping articles - When you want to tip an article, you choose how much of the tip you give to the article and how much you keep. You have to tip at least 20%. You get a certain amount of daily tips.

When you tip it rotates currently between HYDRO, Bounty0x and DAI. In the future, they will be adding BAT to the tokens you will own, i don't know if it will be added to the rotation, or they will tip more in BAT.

I really like the platform, and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to read / create crypto content or who wants to earn some established tokens. Remember that all these tokens are listed on exchanges and CoinMarketCap, so they all have a value, you don't need to worry about the bounty paying out or the token being of a value.

You can sign up through the link in the thread, and its free and easy. Hope to see you guys there!

P.S. If you like the article and sign up, give a tip for appreciation  Smiley

Nice write up you have there, it's very insightful and educative as its provide many alternative ways of earning in cryptocurrency market without investing more than your time and effort. I think this will save everyone form the downtrend of the market that seems to be making every trades go south and also the various problems tainting
bad  bounty haunting with each passing day. The content you have up there isn't just for noobs but also for Veterans alike and I'm glad i came across it as i can look for quite coperate crypto jobs from the websites you included in the blog post
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: March 18, 2020, 09:33:03 PM
The fall of the crypto market has stopped. At least some altcoins have not fallen in price for several days and even show weak growth.
Everyone knows that the time of crisis is the best time to buy.
Before the strong fall in the price of Bitcoin, I sold my coins and then managed to buy them back at a much lower price. Now I have money left for additional investments and I am thinking of spending it on bitcoins to average out in case of a fall in the price or better to buy other coins. What kind of altcoins do you think will grow in price faster if the market recovers? I am more interested in your reasoned opinion than the name of a simple coin name.

Well,  with the global crisis and the pandemic coronavirus still being at large, i think we might see more dip in the price of crypto assets because more and more global activities are getting shutdown on daily basis. However, talking about which altcoins to go for in relation to it's tendency to provide a better ROI when the bull sets in, I'll suggest ethereum and binance token (BNB). These two tokens are arguably the most used altcoins out there new. Ethereum is  second just after bitcoin and it offers real life solution of paving way for decentralization and BNB at the same time is a high-end utility token which get used daily by millions of cryptocurrency traders and users as it serves as the primary currency that powers The entire binance ecosystem.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave now or stay until replacement? on: March 17, 2020, 10:27:28 PM
I see many people still optimist in crypto but others deny the optimist and make me think. We know crypto is alternative and we need to grow and find what next after it because crypto is not safe, law nature also says everything has beginning always has ending. Many country try release their own coin and connect with global issue also become indicator crypto can fall deeper than before. See 2020 as good moment to find alternative out side crypto and forex is the closer and realistic answer. Now my positive thinking about crypto start collapse, do I need leave now or stay with crypto until replacement?

The thing is, cryptocurrency and blockchain disruption is just getting started.....  No doubt, cryptocurrency market is a very volatile market but there's more to this emerging tech that we've seen so far and besides, the market has seen worst downtrend and price falls than the current one and it rose back up against all odds. The current downtrend is affecting the whole world due to the global crisis caused by the pandemic coronavirus that tends to put a dent on the global commerce and not just cryptocurrency market, every market out there have had a taste of this downtrend. But like you said about looking for alternatives, there is nothing wrong with that as the cryptocurrency market is too volatile and subjected to frequent  price surge and dump.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it have volume ? on: March 17, 2020, 10:17:35 PM
Sometimes, as a trader or an investor. you wonder why you miss out on tokens that does 400-6000 % increase.

You will also wonder how it missed your grasp, but do you bother to check if it has volume ?
Do you bother to check if it has buyers ? Do you further find out, if it a true pump ?

Be patient, and figure out your research functions well.

I hope i was able to present my views. do correct and suggest further opinions too

I totally agree with you, most altcoins out there do loose volume and liquidity after the first wave of listing on exchanges and as such,  it might takes days before a trade occurs on such tokens and when someone buys a little unit with higher price, you'll see a huge price surge alert. Reason why it is not advisable to leave a buy order on exchange without attending to it for a long term
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Again 🔥 on: March 16, 2020, 11:21:31 PM
Binance Launch Fiat Support in South Africa!

CEO of Binance announced the launch of the Fiat gateway allowing the South African Users to make rand deposits.

“Looking at South African specifically, crypto adoption continues to rise with SA being one of the top five countries in terms of cryptocurrency ownership. Today I’m excited to announce that Binance is launching a South African fiat-to-crypto gateway soon. This will enable South Africans to buy cryptocurrencies with their local bank accounts.”

Binance also donated 1M$ to bitcoin education to support the development of blockchain education in South Africa, The organization also getting ready to run educational program soon.

The constant innovations being added to binance is what makes it the best cryptocurrency exchange available in the market, i really commend the various brain behind those beautiful innovations. The exchange is already a giant but still,  they keeping pushing for more adoption but of recent, the adoption is not centered on just their exchange alone but the entire cryptocurrency market.  Incorporation of FIAT gateway and pairs are among the various ways of bringing cryptocurrency to daily usage. Binance To The Moon.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: March 15, 2020, 11:04:51 PM
Competition is one of the best sources of motivation. So i'm wondering if there are any relevant trading groups. Discord/telegram or something like that?

I know there are chat rooms like crypto cartel, but honestly the "conversations" in such, public chats are usually on a really low level, borderline autistic and pure spam.

Any serious group is probably closed, any ideas how to get into one of them? Should you pay someone to join their room or something like that? Any suggestions?

I hope so you understand what i mean. Trading is a lonely endeavor. I'm not looking for chit-chat, but being part of a "team" would be interesting.

I've been in quite few trading groups on both telegram and discord and one thing is perculiar to them all, spam and lots of unnecessary discussions. I've been on a lookout for some private trading groups where people with like minds will only discuss meaning things related to trading for quite some times now but I've not found any as all i keep coming across is public groups but if your interested in pump and dump group where you can always make quick profit,  i think you should get more closer to exchange groups or discussion tab on some exchanges.
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My top 7 exchanges for trading on: March 15, 2020, 10:52:59 PM
Hi Everyone!

I've used a lot of crypto exchanges over the last 8 years or so. I wanted to share my top 7 exchanges going into 2020.

I would love to hear what everyone here thinks and see if I'm missing any exchange from my list.

Check it out and let me know.

The Top 7 Cryptocurrency Exchanges in 2020

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

The exchange list in the link to the write up you shared is arguably the best. However, i think it all boils down to personal preference as there are lots of other big and easy to use exchange that the write up didn't cover but since the current best exchange available in the entire cryptocurrency market is topping the list in the write-up, i'd say no doubt binace is the giant exchange that outbest every other one out there. There constant updates and incoporation of essential trading tools are what's giving binance an edge over the rest. I think other exchanges such as Okex, bitfinex, gate, digifinex are notable exchanges that are not in the list
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: March 15, 2020, 10:42:41 PM
Stop loss is MUST

But it is not enough to keep in control of your budget.

Successful trading requires complex risk management with several risk limits (like overall drawdown, losing trades in a row and so on)
Also, it's about psychology. The idea is not to move your stop and to comply absolutely with your strategy.
Personally, for me the software related to risk management is useful (i use https://www.bitinsure.com/, idk about other similar)

It controls my risks (drawdown, losses and other trading limits and sends me alerts when any of them is reached. Also it gathers and calculates real-time stats so I do not spend any time on monitoring my accounts, looking of drawdown and other risks and have my performance stats at hand

Stop loss is unbeatable, it's inception has made trading of cryptocurrency assets more easier and more profitable, the only downside i see to stop loss option in trading cryptocurrency is when you set it on an exchange with low trading volume. Like you said, it's not enough to keep in control of your trading portfolio and as such we've several management tools being proposed and roll out on a daily basis, this is the first time I'm hearing about the platform you suggested but I'll definitely try it out as all these features you wrote out are paramount to proper trading experience
