I don't mind about those coins that pumps like that much. It's just a short term pump and if somebody here ables to make from it, good for them because it will never happen again.

As I have said, I don't mind and bother checking those kind of coins because they are not good for long term. They are for the pump and dump scheme and will eventually die once the devs made profit from it.

As my experience I was saw more coins in crypto market that coins can get more trading volume within few hours or in a day due to,  those coins are pumped by pump and dump groups to trap the investors. or some time we can see technical issues with getting proper data from the exchanges.

I believe these are core values investors or traders should look in any token.

You first check if it has a sufficient volume for the short term gain, you then vet if such token can also have future volumes to survive the usual dump in crypto currency.

Backed up with development products, you have verified. Then its a go.

Dyor always, and ensure the volume is indeed true and correct on a real centralized or decentralized exchange.

The exchange on which a specific coin is listed will itself show whether it may or may not possess any volume or the volume that's shown over there. As for e.g.; if a coin is on Mercatox and that same coin is available at Yobit (you know both the exchanges aren't worth it), consider it a red flag to invest in that coin because then, you are responsible for your own loss as you knowingly dived into the well. Mercatox doesn't have any volume tbh, so pumping any coins there is a matter of a few BTC whereas Yobit is known for its fake volumes and if you ever decide to trade there, then you'll definitely lose more while trying to earn through their exchange just because of their shadiness in maintaining higher volumes which are fake completely.

There's a lot of shitcoin that just like that, like you can see huge positive returns but it's kinda impossible to trade on the exchange where the shitcoin is listed and the volume is extremely low.

There are many cases like these that were being pump only by exchanges especially those shit exchanges like p2pb2b that you wonder how the price of a certain tokens/coins just skyrocket but you cannot see any buyers or if there are buyers as a seller you cannot sell your asset.

These are the scenario that I experienced to that exchange so for those tokens that increase so much like 400-6000%, we should be careful in checking whether it is genuinely increasing it's demand or it is being hype only or worst a fake volume by a certain shit exchange. Scammers have plenty of tricks right now and they are also evolving so as an investor or trader we need to be vigilant in every move that we will make so we can avoid those traps that were being set by the scammers.

But for other top currencies, then they genuinely grow their demand and they increase their prices from 400-6000% but it take a lot of time for them to obtain it like bitcoin,ethereum,xrp and etc.

Not all of those volumes are real and we must back to the credibility of the exchange site as there are so many exchange sites were putting fake trading volume. Pump and dump group will always there even in every exchange site. We can't predict about when the pump will be coming in and what will be happening with the coin for sure. too much uncertainties in the market when it comes to the prediction.

Sometimes the answer is behind the scene not on the market, there should be relevant news on why the coin is being pump, it will not pump without any reason behind it, if it is being pump without solid reason don't go for this coin because whales are pumping it, you should always go for coin with solid development.

I typically don't mess with cryptocurrencies that have large pumps for any reason, because they're a big red flag for some sort of price manipulation most of the time, and I don't like reacting to major price movements after they've happened because things tend to move very crazily and seemingly randomly a lot of the time afterwards.

I would probably go to look at the market depth of whatever exchange(s) offer the cryptocurrency in question if I were to try to capitalize off a major price movement like that.

If the coin is manupulated and increase its price they will give them also a volume even its faked by the developer, and yes they will also make a fake buy order to make it look legitimate pump and traders will buy it.

The only question here is if the coin has something to offer and resulted in pump of its prices. You can easily saw what coin is manipulated base on the news and update they given.

That pretty much sums the way low volume coins pump. It's probably the easiest way to lure newbies and also lower members of those groups thinking that they could earn too. The best way to avoid it is to don't buy into their FOMO. Really, FOMO will let you be irrational and invest into something that you shouldn't have.

The moment you saw something pumping, a simple 1 min google search to the project and you'll avoid losing $$$ that you shouldn't have in the first place.

Only centralized cryptocurrency exchanges and even centralized forex platforms can manipulate and fake a volume of a certain altcoin or token. There were also exchanges that has their own token thus a mere risk if someone will invest in it.

Most investors doesn't regret choices after each and every actions. Good traders often predict and be proactive instead of reactive.

Therefore, cheking buyers and true pumps doesn't matter, as long as you know well the exchange platform and the coin you are investing/trading.

I check it regularly, like twice or even 3 times every day.
Before I even look at how much the price of my altcoin is I would go straight at the orders.

Looking if there are still buyers. That just means the coin is still alive.
But, you should also look at the ratio of buy and sell.
What if the buyer is just trying to manipulate the price. Like someone just input a small amount at the sell order to bring down the price.
Everything should be checked first.

You are right, paying attention to market cap, volume, and also market trends are very important before buying or investing. I just realized that when the tokens that I got from the bounty campaign could not be sold. and when I checked, it turned out that the trading volume was very small and that meant that the token did not have high liquidity in the market and caused the token to be hard to sell and also the biggest impact was the price would always go down. and it has been proven from month to month, prices are falling. I think to change the worst possibility (dead coins / tokens) is the team must work out how to increase the token liquditas so that volume can increase and prices can also be pumped.

Volume to me is very important, but it should be stable and continuous, meaning traders and investors are buying and selling on a regular basis, I never trust a coin that is being pumped I was once a victim of that and was late to sell my shares if you are going to engage in a pump and dump be sure you are on the right timing and had an inside news on when and where the pumps going to occur.

There's no perfect analysis and we can't check market every second so if we miss something ( big/ small ) is normal. People always say " be patient " and " do analyze " but I'm really sure people already did that but they forget to create complete plan with stop loss. They focus with profit and buy back, sorry buy back is not safety tools, stop loss is the right answer.

I just believe in a simple opinion that any coin that has a very good return more even more than 1000% return that it was trading on a good exchange site and it will always have buyers. In my opinion all of those things related to how real the pump is actually can be checked directly on the exchange site. Sometimes there was a coin that has gotten more than 1000% pump and it has a very small daily trade volume and traded on crap exchange site who has pumped it. It's true that people must check the coin gradually. The result of how real the pump will be based on the reputation of an exchange site that was making the pump possible for the coin.
