The code is renamed to Vortexcoin and the new logo added. But there is still syncing problem at block 28. That needs more working on.  The new wallet looks great, thanks for the effort. Great! do we have an ETA for blockchain fix? Apparently the block check of block 28 can't be skipped since it was a malicious block. The blockchain should be clean now but those that use wallet for first time will get syncing problems at block 28. The only way to pass that is to provide a set of blocks along with the wallet download so users can paste that into the blockchain directory. That will get the wallet to sync well and be updated with latest block. A text file with instructions for this will be provided with the wallet download. |

Dev, what do you think about hard fork with lowering block reward and/or make it halving on X number of blocks and reducing total number of coins? Also, launching a multipool could give strength on buy orders and prevent such dumping. Lets face it.. the coin is VERY good, but the buy orders aren't big enough and impatient miners could dump the price even more. I think that a lot of people like SFR and can put their miners on multipool. It isn't the best (and honest) way to develop a coin, but this is war (and business).
Huh? About 30k coins are produced per day. How much more do u want to reduce now? After a month, the 32 block reward will automatically get cut to 27 due to gradual decreasing rewards we implemented. This is best inflation control mechanism we can implement. 1 thing to note is that many investors are scared of miners dumping but the truth is it is not miners that affect the coin more but it is daily traders that do. Some guys would be happy to even take 5% profit. This is easily justified by comparing the prices before the last hardfork and after it. The prices were more or less the same. I wouldn't worry about impatient miners but rather impatient traders. |

1/ Don't ask 200 people if 20 amongst richest should receive free shares, and the other 180 have to pay. The answer is obvious.
2/ what the point to belong to an elite club if anybody (not even a SFR holder) can choose/take part/control this point.
Please dev make your choice but don't post stupid poll. If you want to make a ICO, just do it, but don't treat us as fools.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. What we need now - release of anything. It's like over a month since last release and 2 month since last big release.
I agree. We have released almost everything what an alt could release. The current features in development are some really big features which are taking time. In spite of not having a release for a month, we still have released more than any other alt. |

And same question for free shares...if free shares are chosen, will it be available to elite members only?
Have you thought about doing a hybrid type deal? Maybe including both IPO and free shares.
I think IPO will be open to everyone and free shares only to elite members No to get any type of shares, you need to be elite member. This is only for elite members. This poll is for those to decide whether the shares given to elite members will be through an IPO or will they just be distributed without the member paying anything hence free shares. |
