You can never go wrong with Bitcoin. It is recovering rapidly right now. I think that in the nearest future it will be able to recover and reach the previous peak in price. If you want to invest in altcoin, Ethereum is definitely the choice.

What do you mean few ways? Have you tried different sum of money or have you tried exchanging different altcoins into other altcoins? I am not sure I understand you right. Nevertheless, the safest way is just to buy the altcoin you would like to have of the market.

It is not right for everyone. For example I don`t sell my altcoins when there is a dip or anything like that. Maybe I am on the minority side though. I tend to plan the risks and losses that I am willing to accept before purchasing any altcoin.

Don`t believe anyone who says that it is easy. First of all it is probably a newbie who doesn`t understand what trading is, or it might be a really talented person and his personal opinion about it. Trading requires a lot of preparation, time and skill.

I have been scammed and I am not ashamed to admit it. The sum wasn`t really big, but still I have bad taste in my mouth. The project in which I had invested stopped in the middle of the road, with no logical reason and I was left with nothing.

No, it is not the same thing. Coins are much more valuable than tokens, because they have much more feature and capabilities. Tokens are really limited within the company that gave them. Don`t be foul and never exchange coins for tokens.

Oh, there are quite a few disadvantages of altcoins. The most important is the fact that they are strongly dependent on Bitcoin and can`t grow without Bitcoin growing as well. Second one is that they are not as popular as Bitcoin.
I think it is a smart move to have more instruments in your portfolio, but you have to be careful about which altcoin to choose. Personally, I trust only those that are on the top of the list: Litecoin, Ethereum, IOTA and some others.

I had different experience. When I first started I didn`t pay much attention to the main coin on the market - Bitcoin. I was investing in Ripple, Ethereum and Litecoin. Right now I have sold every altcoin I had and put everything in Bitcoin.

You can`t be late to the party if you truly want to invest in crypto currency. Coins are not being bought only with whole numbers like 1,2,3,4 etc. You can buy 0.0001 of Bitcoin and make profit out of that. It all depends on what coin you invest in, not your budget.

It will be a great year for those who have kept their coins. I also think that we`ll see another big player come out on stage and take a good share of the market with some incredibly convenient and useful technology. Overall, I want to receive as much profit as possible from years to come.
Overall I think this year will be good for crypto currency market and for those who truly believe and invest in it. Bitcoin will definitely see growth but I am not so positive with the altcoins. I think a big number of them won`t survive throughout this year.

I have done that recently. In my opinion it is definitely worth to sell your altcoins and buy Bitcoin with everything you`ve got. It doesn`t mean that you have to sell altcoins at a low price; you can wait to minimize your losses. The gains can be huge, though.
I truly believe that community is essential for a successful ICO or any project on that part. You need to have a certain amount of people who truly believe in what they are investing their money and time. Not for the profit, but for a better cause.
That`s what is happening right now. This shows, once again, that there is no independent altcoin out there on the market. Every single one is strongly dependent on the Bitcoin and there is no cons for investing in altcoins for long-term.
I reckon that by the end of 2018 Bitcoin will at the 15000$ mark. So generally speaking, I believe that it will recover but won`t reach the peak of its price. I might be wrong though, because my opinion is based on intuition mostly and not on some facts.
There are few intentions for creating a coin. The most popular one is to scam people, basically take people`s money and stop the project at the specific sum. The other intention, more effective one, is actually make some service easier to access and use.
Plain and simple Ethereum is the best choice among the altcoins you have mentioned. Its smart contracts technology might be a game changer in the market of altcoins. It won`t do anything crazy like overthrowing Bitcoin, but still it a big step forward.
The best way to make your investments safe is to buy different instruments and keep an eye on every single one of them. Yes, it takes time, but in that case, you have a higher possibility not to lose as much as just putting all of your money into one project.
If I were you I would make 70% Bitcoin and 30% Ethereum or maybe 60% and 40%. Ethereum seems like a very good investment right now and Bitcoin is generally a good one so in order to lower our risks we can invest in both.
