181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter on: November 27, 2022, 11:26:45 AM
If Elon Musk pays $1 million per user per day, it would make the world rich quickly

Wait, what? I don't think you understand how the market works. No matter who creates a given stablecoin, it is important that it is fully backed by some assets. Only in such a situation does the stablecoin make sense to exist. Doge is enough for Elon to make big profits, there is no reason for him to build himself another stable coin.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in seed rounds on: November 27, 2022, 10:36:39 AM
I don't think now is the right time to invest. The entire crypto market is unstable after recent events, and you need to remember that investing in seed rounds usually involves a long waiting time for a possible return on investment. This does not mean, however, that there is no chance of finding a hidden gem, which can earn good money in the long term. Certainly, you need to do thorough research before making an investment, because the golden days of ICO, where practically every solid project brought profits, are long gone.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / MetaMask Tracking IP Address on: November 24, 2022, 12:13:47 PM
Consensys, the company that owns MetaMask, just updated its Privacy Policy to state that they are collecting your IP ADDRESS and your ETH ADDRESS when you send a transaction.

This can be a problem for users from many countries. It is worth thinking about using a VPN.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: November 24, 2022, 08:39:02 AM
In today's matches, I bet on the victories of the teams of Brazil, Portugal and Uruguay. The first two teams are clear favorites and Serbia and Ghana, although they can play football, should not pose a threat. A more difficult task awaits Uruguay, which will play against unpredictable South Korea. Uruguay, however, has experienced players who have played in European leagues and know that this match could be crucial to advance to the next phase of the World Cup.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: November 22, 2022, 12:15:41 PM
What a sensation! Predicted as the favorite to win the World Cup, Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia after 36 matches without defeat. The Argentines could easily lead 3-0 after the first half and control the match, while 5 minutes after the break Saudi Arabia was enough to turn the tide of the match and make a huge sensation. In the rest of today's matches, I bet on France and Denmark victories, and in the Mexico vs Poland match I predict a draw.

FTX Trading LTD owes its top 50 creditors approximately $3B, according to a court document filed on Nov. 20. The document was filed as a part of the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings through the United States bankruptcy court for the district of Delaware.

According to the filing, FTX owes the top individual alone more than $226M, while the remaining debtors each owe between $21M and $203M. The creditors' names are unknown, and their addresses are kept private. According to the document:

“The Top 50 List is based on the Debtors’ currently available creditor information, including customer information that could be viewed but is not otherwise accessible at this time. The Debtors’ investigation continues regarding the amounts listed, including payments that may have been made but are not yet reflected on the Debtors’ books and records. The Debtors are also working to obtain full access to customer data.”

Great performance by the England team against Iran. Of course, the English were the favorites in this match, but I did not expect such a dominance. It may sound strange, but the result of 6-2 does not fully reflect the advantage and control that England had in this match. Gareth Southgate opted for an attacking game and that worked great in this match. The remaining two matches today will probably be more evenly matched, but I'm betting on the victories of the teams of the Netherlands and the USA.

In the opening match of the World Cup, I bet on Ecuador to win. In recent months, both teams have played only friendly matches, and Qatar, which won the last 4 friendly matches, achieved better results. However, they did not play against opponents at the level of Ecuador. I just hope that the referees don't follow in the footsteps of Fifa officials and favor the Qatar team.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Trust wallet and is it safe? on: November 19, 2022, 09:16:06 AM
Personally, I use Trust wallet and I am satisfied with it, both in terms of use and security. Remember that the security of the wallet depends mainly on the users themselves. Double protections like 2FA are certainly useful, but the most important thing is to be careful and self-aware about the safety of users. We are never allowed to share our private keys or seed with anyone, and we should not install any applications or plugins whose origin we are not sure of. You have to be very careful what websites and applications we give access to our wallet. If something looks too good, it's probably a scam.

"Binance(through CZ) was the company that said that users should get their funds off exchanges. They claimed customer assets are fully backed on Binance. They said you shouldn't trust (other) exchanges and championed proof of reserves. Then they published their proof of reserves article on 10th November at about UTC 13:00:00 or 1PM UTC (the actual snapshot taken earlier obviously) . But only 20 hours after publishing, Binance moved 2.7 Billion USDT to another wallet. This wallet is not disclosed or tagged as a Binance wallet and not present in their "Proof of Reserves" publishing.

Transfer Out of 'Proof of Reserves' Wallet

Then only just yesterday, 200 Million tokens were transferred back into a disclosed Binance wallet leaving around 2.5 Billion Tether left in the new undisclosed strange wallet.

200M from strange wallet transferred back into official Binance Wallet

2.5 Billion still sitting in strange undisclosed wallet

Remember guys, it's better not to trust any exchanges/services, and keep your funds in the private wallets.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Warning! New type of malware - address swap attack on: November 18, 2022, 01:29:17 PM
There’s a new type of malware, which iterates on the common address swap attack to form a particularly nasty and difficult-to-detect threat. The malware currently uses JavaScript to carry out its effects — hence disabling JavaScript can neutralize it and reduce your browser’s attack surface. This can be easily achieved in the settings for most Chromium-based browsers.
Here’s the action flow for disabling it in native Chrome:

1. Open settings.
2. Search “Javascript.”
3. Click “Site Settings” under the Private and Security section.
4. Select the “Don’t allow sites to use Javascript” option.

Speaking of Crypto.com problems, some time ago I read an article about a woman who instead of returning $100 got a transfer of $10 million from the exchange. Source: https://cryptomaton.medium.com/crypto-com-sues-user-after-refunding-10-million-instead-of-100-9e1f61220e3c
What would you do if you got this amount by mistake? Money back or new life? Smiley
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 15, 2022, 09:05:51 AM
"Bragging" your losses in public doesn't seem like a good idea to me. However, I believe that both, people who lost money and those who fortunately avoided it, should take a valuable lesson from this situation - remember to keep as little funds as possible on the exchanges, always DYOR and track your investments to react in time of dangerous news. Of course, some situations cannot be avoided, but you must try to do everything to minimize the risk of losses.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com in trouble? on: November 14, 2022, 10:42:52 AM
Here is a brief AMA summary with the CEO of Crypto.com: https://www.livemint.com/market/cryptocurrency/cryptocom-ceo-says-withdrawals-working-exchange-not-in-trouble-11668413622484.html
He claims that there is nothing to worry about, but we know how much such assurances mean. If at the present time the troubles of another major exchange were revealed, it would be a huge blow to the entire crypto world. Remember that exchanges should not be used to store funds on them that we are not currently trading!
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 14, 2022, 10:22:12 AM
After yesterday's matches, we already know the final arrangement of the Serie A table in this year. In first place, in great form, Napoli, who have not lost a game and currently have a comfortable eight-point lead over second-placed AC Milan. In third place, quite unexpectedly, Juventus jumped, which had a very mediocre start to the season, but is currently recording a series of six wins in a row. The last three teams in the league, i.e. Cremonese, Sampdoria and Verona, already have a big gap to their rivals and if the managers do not do a solid job during the break for the World Cup, it will be difficult for them to stay in the league. Hovewer, last year's example of Salernitana shows that nothing is impossible.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 13, 2022, 03:12:42 PM
The match between Atalanta and Inter was very interesting and exciting, ending with a 3-2 victory for the visitors. Atalanta fought until the end to get at least a point, but ultimately lost 4 out of the last 5 matches in Serie A. In the evening, two very interesting matches: AC Milan vs Fiorentina and Juventus vs Lazio. After these matches, it will turn out with what advantage over the runner-up Napoli will end this year and who will be the runner-up.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 02:36:03 PM
What a surprise in Manchester. Brentford, after 4 games in a row without a win, beat Manchester City by scoring in the 98th minute of the match. I wonder if Arsenal will beat Wolves today and extend their lead over Manchester City to 5 points. Newcastle vs Chelsea is going to be a very interesting match. In this match, I bet on the home team to win.
200  Local / Polski / Re: Atak na tethera on: November 12, 2022, 01:06:47 PM
Przy okazji powyższego wydarzenia warto zwrócić uwagę, że Tether (emitent) zamroził 46mln$ USDT na blokchainie Tron na żądanie organów prawnych. Zamrożony portfel miał należeć do giełdy FTX.
