Manchester City are playing with their best squad but at the moment Manchester City are 1-0 down, time is long and I still believe Manchester City will be able to win at least by a two goal gap or maybe more. Brentford's quick goal will certainly be a trigger for Pep Guardiola's troops to play more aggressively, and a goal for Manchester City is just a matter of time.
Because of course, Manchester City can control the flow of the match which allows Manchester City to have plenty of time to create many opportunities.

But the first half is almost over, although Manchester City are leading in statistics but Manchester City have only had one shot on goal, while Brentford already has three shots on goal.
From here it proves that Brentford has succeeded in applying a counter-attack strategy and they are playing well in defense, so Manchester City still has to make greater efforts to convert opportunities into goals. Anyway, I don't doubt Manchester City to win, but it's also possible that Brentford can maintain the advantage they already have with this 1-0 scoreline.

This also happened in the previous match where they fell behind, many thought it was because they didn't play Haaland in the early stages but this time Haaland played and it turned out that they still behind of their opponent.
Brendfort was smart enough to see the opportunity and managed to create a goal first, but it's not over yet. City still have the chance to equalize and even come out as winners, it's just that they have to be able to break through the opponent's defense which is very tight this time.
You know against City the defense has to be tight otherwise their strikers will easily get through the net and score goals. Haaland hasn't had a good chance so far, Folden can equalize now.

Perhaps you meant the Europa League? Arsenal are playing there this season. I think in relation to City they have an advantage in this sense, because if Arsenal will fly out of the Europa League, then no one will pay attention to it (assuming good results in the Premier League), but if City fly out of the Champions League, then everyone will make fun of it and Guardiola will be fired.

Europa League is a little bit easier than Champions League but if Arsenal or other clubs fight for trophy in either Europa League or Champions League, they will have to use their player resources for it. It will impact their available resources and performance in Premier League too. Mostly the effect should be negative, not positive.

Arsenal will be affected by Europa League if they want to win it. However, Manchester City will have same problem in Champions League and I am sure, Manchester City have more willingness to win Champions League than Arsenal's willingness to win Europa League.

I think that Arsenal will feel happy if they only win Premier League but fail in Europa League. In contrast, Manchester City will only feel happy if they can win Champions League in this season.

In fact, if you take the group stage, many groups are very similar to the groups from the Champions League. For example, all the groups where there were English teams are difficult to distinguish from the groups of the Europa League.
Arsenal I think will be happy to receive any trophy (when was the last time they won something?), but the main priority is the title + a ticket to the Champions League.

Yes that was a rather disapointing first half its not as we expected but they managed to equalize at the best moment possible just before the first half ended so i think they will probably win brentford is not that good of a team if they play only defensively i don't think they can resist much longer they need to try and  score another goal.

Well - they are dominating and fully controlling the game - they have more than 70% possession.
Brentford has been really dangerous on the counterattacks though - and managed to create more clear cut chances than City.

Foden's goal came just at the right time for them and I feel they will score a few more in the 2nd half.

Arsenal I think will be happy to receive any trophy (when was the last time they won something?), but the main priority is the title + a ticket to the Champions League.

Arsenal last won FA Cup 2019-2020 one when they faced Chelsea and defeated them 2-1. IIRC I think it was the first season of Mikel Arteta as well. So since then board had quite some trust on Arteta from there on. Yeah CL ticket seems to be the likely target but given how we are playing, it seems we want to go for the big one - PL trophy this season. It's not difficult, just need a bit more hard work and consistency.

In this second half, Man City started to dominate the match and Brentford looked overwhelmed in stopping attacks from the Man City front line

it will be very embarrassing if man city loses to brentford because many bettors believe in them, hopefully in this second half there will be another goal from man city that will be created

Manchester City will play a home match against Brentford shortly after. And in this match, Manchester City has formed the squad with their first-row players. So it is easy to understand that Guardiola took this match seriously. And they will undoubtedly want to maintain their dominance in this match. Haaland, Foden and De Bruyne are all in the squad. My guess is Manchester City will do no wrong today. And they will win by at least 2 goals.

Brentford is a weak team. Against the big teams, their only author is a draw. They have drawn against Chelsea and Wolves in recent times. And they won against Brighton. So they will try to get at least 1 point against City today. The city's defenders must perform carefully today.

Seeing the statistics that you bring is quite convincing. But now Brentford managed to score 1 goal against Man City in the 16th minute from Ivan Toney. Of course this is still a temporary result, I'm sure Man City will turn things around.

At the end of the first half, the match was tied at 1-1. Manchester City are dominating the match and attacking a lot. But Brentford's players are not playing badly. They are playing better than we expected. Although they didn't get many attacking opportunities, they made several good counter-attacks. But I still expect Manchester City to win. Well - they are dominating and fully controlling the game - they have more than 70% possession.
Brentford has been really dangerous on the counterattacks though - and managed to create more clear cut chances than City.

Foden's goal came just at the right time for them and I feel they will score a few more in the 2nd half.

Manchester City is dominating in possession no doubt but Brentford created more scoring chances and had 4 shots on target while City managed to have 2 shots on target. In the counter-attack, City has 4 counter attacks but Brentford didn't have any in the first half maybe you can check for more confirmation.

A beautiful goal from Foden to bring back City in the game after Ivan Toney opened the goal  for the visitors, the chances of City winning the match will depend on their performance in the second half because rating the team's performance in the first half Brentford deserves to get more goals because they were better than City in the first 45 minutes.

Man city is playing brilliantly and having good ball possession but it was quite unfortunate for man city that Brentford scored first at the 16th minutes of the game by Toney a good striker. Man city has so much opportunities to score but their balls are been blocked by the Brentford players. I don't know if the refree is taking side with the visitors since he failed to award the host  two penalties in the first half.

Man city equalising goal came at the 46th minutes to end the first half 1-1, the second half is  40 minutes and no goal yet from Mancity, if this match ends draw it means that Arsenal has all possibility of staying on top of the league till after the world cup is over.

Looks like the match is going to be a draw. Excellent play by Brentford's defenders. Manchester City players are attacking a lot. Manchester City players have made 24 shots so far. And every shot was successfully blocked by Brentford players. Brentford defenders Zanka and Pinnock's performances were outstanding today. If Manchester City does not win today's match, then their points gap will increase from Arsenal. And the title will become more difficult for City.

The match has now been played for full 90 mins with 1:1 draw. Brentford are very strong in defence as Manchester City has tried their possible best to score but all to no avail. 10mins added time is given because of the delay in the second half because of the head injury of Laporte. If Brentford will be able to defend Manchester City for this remaining 10mins I will praise them because it is not easy one them.

It is surely a bad thing for coaches to be stressed with their club or team, I really think that Chelsea's previous coaches understand each other, they keep blaming the coaches even if the real problem doesn't really ie in the coach but some cases the players or the staff members aswell, they all keep lambast their coaches like that and if this continues there will be no one that would like to coach for them anymore,

Obviously this is still difficult because basically everything must require a process but for Potter's case he is required to immediately be able to play well and of course this is very difficult to do especially in this case he can be said to have minimal experience for a big club.
I'm not going to blame Potter for now although there are some things that Chelsea are lacking but it's a bit difficult at the moment with a few injured players.

I surely don't blame him at all but why a sudden surge of anger in the audience and some would want him to be changed, for me in this case it is not always the fault of the Coach, but there could be some problem with the players or the management but the coach can not do or clean all the problem that the team already have, it just that they all think that the change of coach would get back the team on track, I really believe it is not that easy,


Now here is my pick for the games today, I am not betting for Tottenham Hotspur FC VS Leeds United and Liverpool FC VS Southampton FC because of the high odds, and it is not going to be profitable,

AFC Bournemouth VS Everton FC

The stake odds for this game are 3.35 for Nottingham and 3.15 for a draw and 2.34 for Crystal, Freakishly many will be for Crystal Palace, because of the standing, and right now their main players are still intact so for sure Crystal Palace would win this,

Defeat is not something that Manchester City wants in the last match before the world cup break, but Pep Guardiola had to accept disappointing results due to not being able to take advantage of home games. Manchester City will also fall further behind Arsenal if they can win over Wolverhampton.
