It looks like we're staying stable at 310 support level, as long as we stay above that level we're still growing

personally I like when the price drops. Not sure why anyone would think it would just shoot up forever? That wouldnt make any sense. Not sure why people invest in it like a stock either but uh i will just pretend like i never think that
80% people buy bitcoin to make money, 10% buy it for reasons they can't explain even to themselves, the rest 10% are learning, shopping, preaching, etc. which one are you ?

we just gotta hold until next bubble and fiat crisis then crypto will explode into mainstream
Yep. I foresee a mayor financial crisis, after that u would need to have bitcoins if u want to buy bread (or clams) The USA has been in a bubble debt fuelled economy for at least 15 years, the dotcom bubble was followed by the real estate bubble and now we have the credit bubble or the Dollar bubble that will surely pop like all other bubbles. The unfunded liabilities and the level of debt and mal investment is very high, it will end up in hyper inflation or market crashes or even both. Bitcoin will be more clearly seen as a safe heaven in that environment since there are less third party risk, a controlled and planned inflation and superior services in terms of mean of exchange and store of value. Hold! I think your vision is totally legit... also if you're not checkin the price really often that's a good strategy

For those of you interested in new and innovative coins check out BitSwift aka SWIFT- its a new coin that uses the blockchain but aims to make bitcoin easier to use and more appealing to the average joe, happy trading!

I am holding a few coins of BTC because IMO btc is rebuilding/destroying the USD system as use expands, bitcoin space is replacing fiat with every new coin mined.

If we see a BTC flashcrash in the next few days, I predict that it will occur on Huobi first. The same individual or cartel pushing this thing north will dump it hard.

If we dip back into the 300s this week, I'll be buying a bunch more after payday! I never trade to increase my fiat balance and never have.

BTC China volume Where is Huobi? In terms of volume for Chinese exchanges, it's OKCoin, then BTCChina, and then Huobi. I believe they are getting their OKCoin volume purely from the international market spot exchange, which is the lowest volume of all 6 of OKCoin's BTC orderbooks. Their international exchange isn't even Chinese-based - it's a Singapore company and is meant to serve customers in every country. If they're including Bitfinex, they need to include 796 and OKCoin futures markets. Since when is Bittrex considered a Bitcoin exchange? They only trade altcoins.
This infographic is a joke. Whoever made it is clueless and doesn't actually know anything about any of these exchanges, besides maybe Bitstamp. Thanks everybody for your comments, We've totally depended on the sources we mentioned at the end of the infographic, may be they have some wrong numbers and information, Please anyone sees a wrong information here, tell us and provide a source for the right one and we'll edit it in the infographic immediately. And about the title, yes, i think it should be "Cryptocurrencies exchanges" not bitcoin, as we've mentioned some altcoins exchanges. Here are the current 24hr volumes for the 3 most liquid exchanges (for the past 24hrs...I'm sure you can find averages, but I'm not going to look for them myself): OKCoin.cn orderbook: 195,104 BTC OKCoin.com orderbook: 79,953 BTC OKCoin.com futures orderbook (leveraged): 574,920 BTC BTCChina main orderbook: 213,614 BTC Huobi main orderbook: 125,240 BTC 796.com also probably has nearly as much volume, but that's leveraged up to 50x. You need to make a decision whether or not to include leverage in the equation - Bitfinex offers leverage on their main orderbook, so they'd pretty much be out entirely if we're not including leveraged orderbooks. Huobi and some of the other Chinese exchanges also have some subsidiaries like BitVC, which likely are also in the top 10. I didn't really go into detail here and some of these exchanges may have other orderbooks with extra volume, too - just trying to lead this in the right direction, not do everything myself. Source for the figures: their respective websites as well as https://bitcoinwisdom.com/This is a clear evidence that Chinese exchanges are the market leader in bitcoin (i.e., "Chinese exchanges rally, and the others follow".) I see it as a clear indication of manipulation. Chinese exchanges gooses the price, and the others follow the TA slavishly.

God save KEY
if your holding in KEY at the expense of BTC then your shooting yourself in the foot

BTC and LTC are still the best coins to invest. BTC and LTC have the highest marketcap over a long time + a stable network + adoption. that counts

When will the ripple pyramid crash into oblivion? Never seen a 90% premine coin get so pumped artificially and people actually buying it..
|

Stellar is going up due to Ripple. This would be a good time to sell before the market realises that Ripple's succes is not necessarily Stellar's success.
Indeed, I sold mine 3 hours ago at 1250. the higher the price goes, the more likely it is to crash. Best thing to do statistically is slowly sell on the way up

We have just bounce from the last bottom price. if that gets retested and fails it means there isn't enough buying power at the crucial level. then we go down sub 500k and still be within the long downtred

OMG that moment in life when you set your buy order just under what it actually hit huh? just wait, this is going down further. should place it even lower If it goes up to 7k tonight and then down back to 5k, sell pressure will be massive. I don't think it will go down that low at all. In fact, i don't think we will be heading back below 5k again

Any plans? Let's pump this hoe
the volume is good at these prices, let it do it's thing, pump it to 200 and watch it drop back to 80 in a linear fashion

Just the usual whale scare tactics.
I dont think so, he could have just waited and sold for more, or split it up and made more money but for him it was probably already so profitable. imagine buying at 30$ and selling at 300$... that's 1000% profit

There hasn't been arbitrage that offer high profit since gox died, and that is the truth, now you need skill to know which direction something will go, however manipulators never cares about that, they just dump to hell or pump to heaven

Will this coin rise in future. I have some stellars waiting to sale at good price but there is no movement in its price.
you better sell it now, the price has been pumped like crazy for hours today, it's now more than 900 satoshi per STR, maybe we'll see 1k very soon. good for you if you still have tons of STR to sell right now

I have a question to all chrome users, have you had problems the last days? I often get 'can't load page' before the page actually loads, so things don't show up, these kind of things, has this happened to anyone else?
