181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to know before trading. on: July 28, 2021, 09:04:59 PM
I do advise people not to invest on what they can afford to loose, having this clear understanding, make a progress to research about it, make consultation both in person and online, resist any iota of fear and verify the authenticity and genuity, put down your wallet keys written in a book and make it confidential, know your tax billing schedule and choose a considered reasonable trading platform that best suite your choice.
182  Other / Beginners & Help / How bitcoin mining works on: July 27, 2021, 07:41:04 AM
Here is a summary article for newbies on what btc mining is, we learn and we grow.

Quote
|What Is Bitcoin Mining?
Bitcoin mining is the process by which new bitcoins are entered into circulation, but it is also a critical component of the maintenance and development of the blockchain ledger. It is performed using very sophisticated computers that solve extremely complex computational math problems.

KEY TAKEAWAYS
By mining, you can earn cryptocurrency without having to put down money for it.

Bitcoin miners receive Bitcoin as a reward for completing "blocks" of verified transactions, which are added to the blockchain.

Mining rewards are paid to the miner who discovers a solution to a complex hashing puzzle first, and the probability that a participant will be the one to discover the solution is related to the portion of the total mining power on the network.

You need either a GPU (graphics processing unit) or an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) in order to set up a mining rig.

184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What More Should Satoshi Do? on: July 26, 2021, 10:25:33 PM
I strongly advise it should maintain the constancy and standard legacy it created, it's not buying an expensive car that matters but how to maintain it to sustainability, it has attained the pyramid peak of success already but more effort to maintaining it is need.
185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unintentional plagiarism on: July 26, 2021, 10:17:48 PM
Call a spade a spade, if you plagiarized you just commit a punishable offence on the platform, nothing like intentional or unintentional plagiarism, that's why you could state or quote with reference, meaning you acknowledged the source that not directly from you but you admit and go inline by, just as you can't buy a car and claim you produce it, the reference has to go to the brand name.
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: July 26, 2021, 03:18:44 AM
Btc is the leading crypto and stand a chance to dictate and a determinant for others, it will be so interesting if your investment is highly vested on btc while a smaller percentage on alts.

Any dump or pump on btc is incomparable to alts, it is occasional on btc, while other crypto can be frequent and drastic in term of fluctuations.
187  Other / Politics & Society / Countries representing over 90% of global GDP are exploring CBDCs on: July 26, 2021, 02:07:28 AM
The quest to understand the opportunities and challenges of a central bank digital currency, or CBDC, is underway in 81 countries, with five nations fully implementing a digital version of their currency, according to a new tracker from the Atlantic Council.

The Caribbean region is home to all five CBDCs that are currently in use, with The Bahamas, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia and Grenada all implementing their digital cash systems.

CBDCs are in their pilot stage in 14 other countries, including South Korea and Sweden, the tracker shows.

Established in 1961, the Atlantic Council describes itself as a nonpartisan organization that seeks to promote U.S. leadership on various world issues. The CBDC tracker, which was unveiled July 22, currently monitors 83 countries and currency unions.

Among the countries with the four largest central banks — United States Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, Bank of Japan and Bank of England — the U.S. is furthest behind in terms of CBDC development.

The Federal Reserve has been researching CBDCs for several years now, with Chairman Jerome Powell indicating in January that digital-dollar development is a “very high priority” to combat financial crime. Meanwhile, New York Fed Bank President John Williams believes that the emergence of cryptocurrencies raises challenging questions for central banks.

China recently indicated that foreign visitors will be allowed to use the digital yuan during the 2022 Winter Olympics — provided they share their passport information with the central bank. A group of U.S. senators that includes Bitcoin proponent (BTC) Cynthia Lummis has urged American Olympians to boycott the digital yuan. According to the South China Morning Post, Beijing responded by telling the U.S. senators to “stop making trouble.”

The People’s Bank of China claims that nearly 21 million people have already opened a virtual wallet for the purpose of using the digital yuan.

190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: July 24, 2021, 11:59:05 PM
No as for me, I don't trust it, before the onset of covid 19 people die on an account of daily basis either through one or two sicknesses while accident has the highest  rate of people's death in Africa, the idea is that covid only sought out for the over age people with low immunity system and attack, its rear for a young and vibrant youth or adolescent to die of covid and a person that is always engaged on a busy daily activities, hustling in the day time and sweating can never be perforated for covid 19 Penetration, which is one of the reason in UK many died of covid during the harmattan (winter) season when theirs excessive cold but covid can't survive our busy day hot environmental temperature. In fact some still believe covid doesn't exist, but as for me, I negate the administration of covid 19 vaccine as a young adult (youth).
191  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ladies reaction over jokes on: July 24, 2021, 11:37:46 PM
Yes base on experience, you can't predict a lady's action especially when she's amidst friends, its seemingly their nature and not pride, its called power of influencers, once they find themselves in a clique then guys has to be observant and cautioned on how to relate them at that moment, even if she wish not to utter a word her peers will pull the trigger to do so.

Am a man of dignity and will accept no stain of disgrace or embarrassment whenever am with lady's nowadays, therefore I maintain my status quo, moreso, they think whenever you make an approach on them is always to ask them out, (wrong mentality) thereby assuming all guys to be thesame even thou you're on a different opinion at approaching them.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 24, 2021, 08:20:40 PM
As for me, trading and investing is good on a long run, I develop quality time on both, study the market trends and follow daily updates, I don't rush to sell nor to invest but the idea is that we all have different opinions and preferences and either going for trading or investiging it is better to understand when to strike (invest) and when to withhold.
193  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn and save more? on: July 23, 2021, 11:06:42 PM
With your experience I will advise you start from somewhere not minding how little the beginning is, read, make research, advertise your seevice, updates your skills, improve your standards, methods of service delivery and also work on yourself in areas of presentation, diction, location and operational mode.
There's a saying and I quote: you can't acquire the future you don't admire.
For you to be able to earn and save more, work on yourself.
194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I start betting on sports? on: July 23, 2021, 10:48:58 PM
I will advise you not to gamble, once you started you get addicted to it, and the next thing is to always get busy of thinking how to manipulate a source for money either by stealing or falsification since you're not a working class, before you knew, your orientation and mindset begin to change to negative thoughts and mentality.

There's dignity in labour, work hard, invest and use the little money you have to run a little business of buying and selling, within little time you begin to experience the principle of return in business.

Also, look around you and compare the lifestyle of gamblers to that of businessmen and have a second thought.

With your little experience with him, you could deduce one or two things he  admires about sport and make it a surprise present, example: cyclist tour or cinema hangout, sport books and materials if he loves reading or a birthday cake decorated with sport display.
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Happens To Your Crypto If You Sleep One Day and Don't Wake Up The Next Day? on: July 23, 2021, 09:44:25 PM
Citing myself as an example, I ensure that the only one person that knows all my crypto security secrets is my wife who is also a tech-savey with no iota of doubt on trust.
I strongly advice you create a backup on anything you're doing with trusted credentials but crypto is a decentralised network.
Also its advisable to always have an updated business diary.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you get trading advice and tips from? on: July 22, 2021, 09:20:14 PM
Majorly mine is on social media (twitter, facebook, telegram, whatsapp) and friends, and on every advice I got, I give it a second thought, research more on it weighing the feasibility before concluding on acceptance
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: July 22, 2021, 09:11:23 PM
I only use two which are coinbase and binance but choosing a trading platform depenss on the special features it offers base on individuals desirability such as transaction rates or charges fee, restrictions on certain transaction and time taken for each transaction among others.
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your worst mistake on: July 22, 2021, 08:53:00 PM
My ever worst mistake is that I never take time to study and understand crypto before investing and I will to advise everyone new to a platform or business to take their time and study the mode of operations, ask questions, and make personal research and findings, it not always good taking a bread half-baked.
