181  Other / Off-topic / Re: How come I can be an organ donor, but I can't sell my organ once I die on: August 16, 2014, 05:25:37 PM
It's sad that you can't, in theory, but keep in mind that the murder rate might go up if someone buys your organs to receive them after you die. You die of a seemly natural cause or get lured into some car crash, no one thinks twice, and low and behold, the person whom you sold your organs to now has their purchase for whatever organ transplant they or a loved one needs.

This world is full of cruel people, so while it might sound like a good idea, it could be blood money, with you winding up being the one who dies.

A self-moderated thread about religion, this sounds swell.

Yeah, I agree. This sounds shady. At first I thought you were just writing a provocative article to get people into a heated debate, but now it sounds more like you'll filter anyone with different beliefs from you.

I bow to no man or god and I believe the Cosmos will help guide my evolution. Not everyone feels this way, but sometimes I'll jest about Christians believing in a floating man in the clouds barking orders. To me, Christianity sounds like a bunch of brainwashed people who believe that they'll burn in a pit of firey acid for all eternity if they don't bow to their Christian God who claims to be all loving and all forgiving. Christians sometimes get mean towards others, yet they have a golden rule to do unto others as you'd have them do unto you and a part of the bible says "Judge not, lest ye be judged" and another says "Who soever is without sin, cast the first stone." Yet, Christians believe that everyone is a sinner and some go around treating people like they're garbage for not believing what they do.

It all contradicts itself, yet people still believe that crap.

Hopefully this helps get some drama started for you, as I can't see why else this thread was posted.
183  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite TV show? on: August 16, 2014, 05:14:30 PM
I only watch Netflix. It's cheaper than cable by far, (~$8.00 per month) plus I can watch whatever I want to whenever I want to without commercials, and most of it is in HD. I bought a Chromecast module for $35, so my smartphone Chromecasts to my TV. So far, I'd say my favorites are: Fringe, Urban Legends, Dark Secrets, and other stuff that makes you think.

I had a glass of water. It's the best thing for your system, but unfortunately it was tap water, so it has chemicals and other junk in it as well.

What's with all the pictures of Russia? Are you a photographer and you just snap shots of people everywhere you go?
187  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the best job to get 1 BTC? on: August 16, 2014, 05:00:07 PM
Do anything you know of that gets you any kind of money and either keep it as BTC or convert it to BTC if it isn't paid in BTC. You're a full member, so signature ad campaigns will pay you more and they will be some of the easiest money you'll see.
188  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can someone really trace you where you are? on: August 16, 2014, 04:57:47 PM
Only the admin has your IP address, but an IP address can only zone in on your general location. Most websites that try to guess mine are often guessing the wrong city even. Now, the MAC based location stuff (Where you're asked by your browser if you wish to share your location) is much more accurate. This is done through the ISP's address they have on file for your MAC Address, IIRC. I'm not sure how you'd get that information from them in the first place, but that does happen.

190  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I get a bad ripoffreport review removed from the top page of Google? on: August 16, 2014, 04:53:14 PM
After watching that video, I created a Rip Off Report on Rip Off Report. Hopefully it shows up soon. If it doesn't, I'll let you know.

UPDATE: I filed a Rip Off Report on BlueHost for misleading advertising. The BlueHost report was filed almost instantly, but the one about Rip Off Report was silently ignored. This proves that Rip Off Report doesn't care if they damage other companies' reputations, but they care if they damage their own. Rip Off Report has it's uses, but they need to make it easy on companies who change their ways instead of charging beaucoup dollars to change something and never removing the report. They're more of a revenge site than a legitimate rip off reporting site. I just wish it was fully legitimate. They didn't even have enough time to verify what I had written. It shows they don't really care. What if BlueHost really was legitimate? It wouldn't be fair to allow my review to be posted.
191  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money is debt on: August 16, 2014, 04:31:12 PM
Money could be used to pay for debts, but money isn't actually debt itself. If you think of money as something you have enough of or continually receive, then you'll start having more money in your life. Don't take this as you'll be a millionaire overnight, as that almost undoubtedly won't happen.
192  Other / Off-topic / Re: What type of gamer are you? on: August 16, 2014, 04:28:58 PM
I'm mainly an adventure and FPS gamer. I love strategy games as well.
193  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much you spend on the internet? on: August 16, 2014, 04:27:23 PM
Most days I spend the whole day online as I have a job to do. Though, I do enjoy going for a run and doing my P90X3 workouts to stay active.
194  Other / Off-topic / Re: I am literally stupid. on: August 16, 2014, 04:22:49 PM
I'm not sure I follow. You think you're stupid because you can't do math and you're blaming everyone else? Not everyone is wired the same way. Personally I'm terrible at math, but I'm an excellent programmer. I know that the reason I struggle with math is because I learn and think differently than most people, so I have to figure out how to put things into a context that I understand. It's far easier for me to understand PHP code than most whitepapers coin devs create. I can create a more cryptographically secure system than banks have by using PHP, but how do those cryptographic primitives like AES actually work? I don't get the math behind it, but I can make it function.

So, you see, I'm a great scientist, but I'm poor at math. To me it just means that I don't actually need those math skills as they serve little purpose in my life's purpose.
195  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I get a bad ripoffreport review removed from the top page of Google? on: August 16, 2014, 04:16:58 PM
What's the name of your company and were the reviews accurate? If so, let it stay there so people don't get ripped off. If it's inaccurate, submit proof to the site and they might make a note stating that the rip off report was inaccurate and provide new information for people who see the report.

That sucks. He was a great actor.
197  Economy / Reputation / CozyLife's Reputation Thread on: August 16, 2014, 04:02:06 PM
I figured I'd create a reputation thread to see what people post about me. I'm a journalist with CCN, a miner, and an investor of sorts. Perhaps if you've done business with me, you'd be interested in leaving me positive feedback. If so, post a link to your reputation thread and I'll return the favor. Thanks!

Try it and see what happens. If you can't trace it through the blockchain and you know how to trace transactions, then you should be good to go.
