181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Medalist Bought Bitcoin on: June 25, 2020, 09:29:22 AM
There is an impressive number of public figures who have shown their interest in investing their fortunes in cryptocurrency for business ventures and more. Back in 2013 Snoop Dog was selling his albums at 0.3 Bitcoins. Another famous personality Mike Tyson in collaboration with Bitcoin Direct, he came up with a Bitcoin Wallet and in 2015 he launched ATM system, a virtual wallet operated using bitcoins. So its not the first time celebrities are taking interest and investing in crypto.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum (ETH) Price on Course to $300 on: June 24, 2020, 11:08:02 AM
Well, I personally believe Ethereum has a potential to cross $300 but right now ETH is struggling. I think if Ethereum somehow manage to cross $300 before Ethereum 2.0 update then the price of one coin could be as high as $500 so it would be best to hold your coins for at least one more year.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possibleTrump Will Prohibit Bitcoin? on: June 24, 2020, 10:37:10 AM
I think if he really wanted to ban cryptocurrency from USA he could have done it already but now it does not seem to be happening. He believes that cryptocurrency is highly volatile and unregulated crypto assets can clear the way for unlawful behavior which includes drug trade and other illegal activities. But I personally don't think crypto will be banned from US.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction price Bitcoin on: June 24, 2020, 10:07:57 AM
Yes bitcoin transaction amounts have improved over the time and now traders can send or receive bitcoins by paying very small  transaction fees. This is a one step forward towards the bitcoin adoption and I think the speed of transactions would be faster than now with the introduction of lightning network. In past people used to pay heavy amounts to transfer bitcoins but now it has become more convenient for people to send or receive btc by paying very low fees.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 effects on Bitcoin on: June 24, 2020, 09:44:41 AM
The global economy was comparatively in better shape when the cryptocurrencies experienced halving event in July 2016 but this time it is different because of outbreak. The  pandemic has wobbled the global economy and coerced the central banks to add trillions of dollars of stimulus to the financial system. I think right now, bitcoin is doing fine and I hope the price would be high in coming 12 months.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: June 23, 2020, 09:53:24 AM
Currently, due to pandemic we are witnessing a period of temporary economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced which is generally generally identified by a fall in GDP. This pandemic has affected economy of the whole world but I think its effect on crypto would be minimal as BTC has already shown stability but cryptocurrencies always remained susceptible.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: June 23, 2020, 07:07:00 AM
I believe the alt season will come but we really don't know when, it is better to grab some more and hold. I still buying alts and hold them because I have feeling that this year the market will surge especially eth.  Smiley
the best decision to wait for that is to collect as many assets as possible. however, at this time the altcoin season has been waiting a long time, and there is a possibility that altcoin season will occur. too bad if we don't prepare it. I believe that will happen this year.

Altcoins market is down so the best investment nowadays is bitcoin, invest only in bitcoin if you really want to make some profit. Don’t waste your time and money in altcoins, if you invest your money in altcoins then you have to wait for 1 year to get some good profit.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: June 23, 2020, 07:03:41 AM
nope, Bitcoin is a central of any cryptocurrency nothing any altcoin can placed 1st position in cryptocurrency than other, even any speculate from pro trader, specualtor, investor or another shit people
Yes no one can overtake bitcoin as the top crypto existing, because it is the king and started it all.

On the other hand eth is also on top of the altcoins and one of the reliable coin just like bitcoin. Hence I think we must be contented on the spot eth had, in the future it will rise too together with bitcoin and other established altcoins.

The comparison of Ethereum with Bitcoin is totally wrong, you can compare Eth with other altcoins like bitcoinABC , BitcoinSV, etc. Bitcoin has no competitor yet because  of it’s decentralisation and fluctuations. Bitcoin has potential to give you 1000$ profit in just few hours while in case of ETh you should hold for at least 6-7 months or may be year.
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: June 22, 2020, 05:31:23 PM
Believe me If you want to trade consistently and profitably just learn how to do it yourself no matter how difficult or how long it takes.

Well, you are right but you need a mentor who guides you in the best way. It is true that you learn from the failures but if you have someone to advise you then you will save your capital. Newbies don't know much about crypto and their fluctuations so they need guidance. By taking guidance a newbie will become a good trader in a short time period.

190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: June 22, 2020, 05:24:25 PM
Definitely LUCKY traders make more profits than unlucky traders but trading does not only depend on luck, there are other factors involved that make you a good trader. The very important one is the market survey if you have knowledge about the market then you will easily make profits by investing. Just keep in touch with crypto news and invest at the right time on right coin.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: June 22, 2020, 10:33:06 AM
Let's be real, I don't think the price of ETH would be as high as $1400. In January, 2020 ETH started trading at $139 per coin but in the mid February the price peaked at $279 this happened due to Enjin launching its game development platform on the Ethereum network but for the time being the biggest potential for ETH now lies in the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 update.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 on: June 22, 2020, 10:01:07 AM
It is noticeable that whenever halving event had taken place an increase in the price of Bitcoins observed. Right now price of BTC is stable but I think by the end of 2020 price of 1 BTC would be around $15k. There are many predictions that the price could be $100000 within next 12 to 18 months but it seems impossible but lets hope for the best. Raoul Pal who is a former Goldman Sachs hedge-fund manager claimed that the price of one bitcoin could reach 1 million dollar before the next halving event.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: June 22, 2020, 09:31:23 AM
When it comes to Bitcoins, Internal Revenue Service(US) and its counterparts from other parts of the world believe Bitcoin as an asset or intangible property but not a currency as it is not issued or printed by central banks. If someone is mining bitcoins and then selling it to third party or if one is buying BTC from someone and selling it to others for making profits and using bitcoins to buy good or services then I think yes it should be taxable. As in recent past people have earned enormous amount of money by trading crypto so I think its fair to collect tax if someone is making money out of it.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does this Pandemic intensifies the usage of Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2020, 08:59:15 AM
Yes using bitcoin for making transactions can be a good option to avoid human to human interaction as this virus transmits via physical contact. But the problem is that not many websites or companies are not accepting BTC as an alternated mode of payments but some accept. There are many other options which are already available for making payments like WeChat in China, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Checkout and Amazon Pay etc which allow people to pay without using flat money. Using Bitcoin to make payments can be possible in future but right now people are preferring other methods.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There Are Now More Than 8,000 Bitcoin ATM's Worldwide on: June 21, 2020, 10:07:39 AM
I think crypto ATMs can serve as promotional strategy as many people are still not showing their faith in cryptocurrency due to safety and security as said by many poeople what if BTC vanished one day? So this will ensure people that BTC or other cryptos are not going anywhere. USA has 6000 ATM which allow people to sell or buy crypto but the numbers are minimal in other countries as 122 countries don't have any ATM. I hope in future mass adoption of cryptocurrency will surely increase someday.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Covid wave vs Bitcoin on: June 21, 2020, 09:50:07 AM
I think pandemic was not the only reason of price drop as many speculated that bitcoin's price will rise in the weeks before and after the Bitcoin halving.  As we know that this will reduce the supply of new coins entering circulation, however any price rise will depend on the demand of bitcoin. There was no pandemic in 2018 when the price of 1BTC was plunged to $3200-4000. Yes you can say pandemic can be one the reason of price fall as economy  of the whole world crashed but it is not the only reason.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Arrest on: June 21, 2020, 09:27:09 AM
Definitely he is going to end up in jail but i am not sure for how long as I am not the one who knows much about law. Although he is accountable of 432 USD to the authorities but yes its the theft of Government resources because it is not related to your job to mine BTC while working for government departments. I think he was running 1 or 2 rigs and you cannot say he was running a farm because if it was the case the cost of energy could be much more than $430.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Crypto on: June 20, 2020, 03:20:19 PM
There are always risks in big investments but the profits can be massive sometimes. $15000 is a big amount and you should consider some of the facts like price of BTC has never been stable sometimes you have to wait for months or even years to get back your money. I would suggest to invest in bitcoins but then sell them when there will be chances of getting profits, for instance if you buy BTC for $10k then sell it when price is $12k then again invest in bitcoins when price is around $9k or $8k and sell again when it will reach over ten thousand Dollars. This is the smart way of investment don't wait for too long as people did in 2018 but the price of BTC stunted many investors as it was $4k or even less.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: June 20, 2020, 03:07:33 PM
Bitcoin has gained popularity over the past few years especially in 2017 when price of 1 BTC was equal to $20k. Right now people are adopting bitcoin as an alternate method of making payments and buying goods and services but if I talk about my country many people are still not aware of cryptocurrency and those who know are not embracing it over other methods of making transactions. According to my point of view one of the reason why buying groceries by paying BTC is not a rational decision because when BTC will be transferred from buyer to seller there will be deduction of charges which can be avoided by paying flat money.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 19, 2020, 01:37:58 PM
Since the day of judgement by the Supreme court of India, Crypto-based activities on exchanges have been rocketed up. After 2 days following the decision, Cashaa India which is a cryptocurrency banking services platform, observed an increase of 800% in trading volumes. India is country with population over 1.3 billion people which will definitely make India one of the biggest market for cryptocurrency and as Bitcoins are now legal investors will feel more secure and safe.
