181  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov sold his account on: December 09, 2023, 08:47:54 PM
This thread blew up a lot more than I ever expected tbh. How big was he in the community? It seems like he did a lot of things already and has been here for years too.
Your is not the only account, there have been several others new over the past 5-6 months that have behaved suspiciously.

You know far too much about this forum considering your "ineedhelpplease" account was created in October 2023. Having said that, whenever you want you ask questions in an attempt to demonstrate you are a newbie you do and when you decide to post in-depth you do. How many accounts do you have here?

Has anyone sent a message informing him of this thread or asking him to defend himself?
I'm pretty sure he's seen the red tag on his account, which links to this topic.

My conclusion one way or another: Ratimov is gone.
I did not check post history or posting styles (and most of his posts are in Russian language) since the account-selling allegations but from what others are stating it seems the account has changed hands. If that is true, I find it strange he (or any other member with merit source) would sell their account.

I don’t know too much about this forum I’m still learning. I don’t even know what “DT” stands for yet for example and until yesterday I thought making alts wasn’t allowed, thought the forum bans scammers, thought the mods did IP checks frequently, etc.
I’m confused by in depth too, show a post please. And I don’t need to show that im a newbie either when my post count and merit are literally small.

I started posting here because well this is literally all that I post on. Rollbits admin Rollbit Razer basically fucked me out of around $7k and I discovered this forum through searching for bad rollbit experiences and reviews. and I want to try and make that money back too

The Bitcoin Forum is a website meant to host free discussion of Bitcoin and related topics. It is operated as a service to the community, and all profit is reinvested into the forum and the community. It was started in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, the original creator of Bitcoin. It is now managed by Michael Marquardt (theymos), Martti Malmi (Sirius), and Stefan Thomas (justmoon). Donated funds are managed by theymos.

It actually feels so weird knowing how when they first opened these Donations they were 50 BTC and 10 BTC which weren't so much back then. Now.. It's so much money LOOL. I wonder what these people from all the way back then who donated think of their donation now honestly.

I was also wondering who created this forum, and for some time thought "Founder" was just meaning the Founder of Bitcoin and not the actual founder of this forum lol. Until I realized

What the hell man, 5.9 BTC? I wish you the best. I'm going to continue reading this thread. Hopefully you're able to get your money back.

Edit looks like this was from 2020, Hopefully he got his money back.

Yes, I am also wondered if I see big amounts that were blocked. But actually some people really store big amounts in crypto.
Elon Musk, the current world's richest man, was also one of their victims, then how about a common user like you or me  Grin
Imagine how much crypto worth he had in there. Check out this Thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5316100.0

Yeah FreeWallet is literally full of shit. They ONLY responded to Elon Musk and resolved the issue so quickly because it was ELON. If those funds belonged to the average person they would've all been fucked over by FreeWallet's garbage service. It is honestly surprising how that account hasn't been banned yet for scamming millions of dollars from innocent people like OP who've used their garbage website..
184  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FreeWallet.org is a scam - Elon Musk account locked by Freewallet criminals on: December 08, 2023, 10:57:24 PM

Stop your insinuations

I know this is old but please stop your bullshit.

For one,
Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5248998.msg63277585#msg63277585
You recently bumped a three and a year half old thread in an attempt to make your Customer Service team look better when we all know its full of shit. We all know the Team at Freewallet just wants to snipe your money at any chance they get and they don't give a fuck about the people using their service.

And secondly, you ONLY resolved this situation quickly ONLY because it was Elon Musk lol. He would've sued your shit and it would've been over for any remains of your garbage service along with your reputation being destroyed by his rant tweets. So of course you had to quickly act and refund him. Meanwhile its taken that one innocent person who lost 5 btc in that thread I linked over Three and a half years and its STILL unresolved. That dude in the thread I linked probably never got his money back!

If this wasn't Elon Musk of all people I bet you would've been treating him the same way as that dude who again, THREE AND A HALF YEARS and has still yet to receive his money back from FreeWallet after his wallet was locked. Unbelievable and embarrassing support.

You are one of the worst wallets I've ever seen. You are a fraud and it is crazy how you aren't banned here.

It's been a while. I noticed he still hasn't came online yet (he wasn't online prior to this thread being made) I wonder what he will have to say for himself.
Scammers have no shame at all. It was probably a pre-planned exit scam, and he is never going to log in again to try to resolve the loan default dispute. Or he still has a number of alt accounts lying around, and he keeps looking at this thread everyday while laughing at himself.

It’s a little bit too far for me but I’m still learning what bitcointalk is like. It just absolutely makes no sense as to why he would exit scam $1k when he’s been trusted with $1k before. He could’ve took more money like $1.5k since he had been trusted with 1k prior. Just doesn’t make sense as to what his thought process was if he 100% was planning to scam

Ah alright I see now. Thanks for the heads up! It does correlate with some of the clown stuff i’ve been seeing go around on the forums of people using alts I thought it was not allowed at first too but it seems like you’re allowed to use other accounts as long as you aren’t evading or breaking the rules on them. Not sure how these trolls still exist I suppose they’re using some loophole where they’re just annoying but not rule breaking enough to get banned.
189  Economy / Reputation / Re: Light_warrior / Memorial thread ... 🕯️ on: December 08, 2023, 07:32:34 AM
I’m a new member so unfortunately I do not know light_warrior but I explored his profile a little. Light seems like an amazing person. It is a shame how the bitcointalk community is so big now that occasional unfortunate circumstances such as this can happen.

Everyone deserves the right to live a full life and it is truly sad how some peoples lives are just ended so early. Just imagine his family who knew him for all of his life and how they’ll have to live the rest of their lives knowing they no longer have him. Imagine his friends who will now have to remember this as well. It is sad man I hope the best for everyone here. Words cannot describe the feelings of when stuff like this happens honestly.

191  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov sold his account on: December 08, 2023, 05:06:28 AM
I wouldn't be surprised if this were true. Ratimov burned all bridges behind him, and instead of confronting problems, he just kept digging a deeper hole. Maybe it's an ego thing, I don't get it.

If this is true, it leaves only one question: why would anyone buy such a high-profile account? Maybe that's the reason he stopped posting in English too, but if the account changed owner, that can't go unnoticed.
Imagine someone else using my account: how long would it last before it's exposed? I hope it doesn't even take a day!

If it is sold it wouldn’t exactly make sense for the buyer to be in your words “digging his own grave”. Although not everyone who buys stuff in general is gonna be smart and some people will be retarded. I assume these Legendary accounts go for expensive amounts if they were to ever be sold especially for someone like him. It is stupid that he is basically destroying his reputation and everything but if I were to buy an account I wouldn’t be absolutely stupid and burn bridges and ruin the accounts reputation by what people think of the user.

Couldn’t there be like IP checks that can just quickly resolve these type of scenarios?
192  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod is a liar & extortionist. Get him out of DT! on: December 08, 2023, 03:56:48 AM
@Vod, are you willing to let things go if OG removes his tag?

That sounds like what happened to Flying Hellfish.  Stand up guy, great moderator.   OG left him negative feedback lying about his agreement with pirate.  Now I see his negative feedback has been removed, and he has left the forum.  If OGNasty thinks he can bully his way through life, I'd advise him to stock up on anal lube.  :/

My feedback on OG is correct, as evidenced by my permanent DT position.  He now feels the figurative noose around his neck, and is too scared to even lie to me anymore.   That's a win for the forum. no?

I'm not here to annoy you guys.  I'm just collecting info for the lawsuit, and I will continue to point out new scams I discover.

 Wink

This argument has been continuing on for ages. Years. How did this argument initially start and how long ago to be exact? I was checking his rep how did you even find out MrDove and gravitate was his alts? And if he is gravitate wouldn’t that be pretty bad for him? I checked the rep on that account it is hella hated.

Hello,

when I wanted to withdraw my money, the transaction was blocked.

my account has passed all verification, and is blocked for no reason.

194  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: November 18, 2023, 09:59:11 AM

[Reuploaded to talkimg and adding some mark]

The text I underlined in red raised some concern in me. I hope I'm wrong, but the way I perceive it from their reply, they made some kind of "snapshot" of the balance during petition date, and what's claimable was what's recorded during that date, and thus your "deposit", which happens later than the snapshot, was not recorded.

The sentence I marked in blue, though, might offers something. Have you made an account on their portal and see if there's any claimable balance there? Given your fund on the NFT company's address was moved, maybe --just maybe-- it's recorded and claimable.

Hopefully the red isn't an issue or else that would be scary. I'm slowly getting over the loss but would greatly help at this time if they could get it back. I tried making an account a few weeks ago but it says "Use your FTX credentials and the same MFA as you did before." meaning only the company is available to do this and check to see if there is any claimable balance.

So I suppose now, the next best thing to do is to tell the company about this, with the image you've showed and hope for the bets?

That's what it says
196  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: November 16, 2023, 08:02:49 AM
...I never told him to send it there, we had no discussion about where my Rollbit funds would be sent to, and considering it was over a year since the deposit he should’ve talked to me before doing this. Why did this not at least happen? ...

As I understand it, your money was sent to the address that you specified in Rollbot during registration. And the fact that you did not change the address in a timely manner is only your fault, since the payment was sent to you in a timely manner using the details specified in your personal account.

The first address where I deposited / withdrew was my address which I still own to this day. The same wallet I still use years later. They sent it to the address that deposited most recently, including money that wasn’t deposited from that address.

Unfortunately I can’t just change it. I should’ve just done this earlier yeah
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $300k worth of bitcoin from FTX moved to this one address? on: November 15, 2023, 01:38:03 AM
I have read your threads regarding $6000 and FTX. I ams ure most (if not all) members of the forum that are reading about your loss have sympathy for you but would you be able to answer two question? Firstly, what are you hoping to achieve by posting about your situation in multiple threads and secondly, what practical steps are you taking to try to get your $6000 back? I mean, are you in contact with any official agency that is overseeing the FTX administration?

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/3KUHpUCxaaJAsR5DQYB5rPYK8xwQprcZC9

Alot of money, including my $6k that was stuck in FTX was recently moved to this address Yesterday all at once. Someone says that this could be the feds taking over to give people their money back. Do you guys have any idea or more context about what could possibly be happening

Mine is the first transaction in that wallet, but everyone elses is in the second one. Which is weird but still.

I didn’t mean to create two threads about my situation. I posted this new thread as it was unrelated to Rollbit or scam reports. It just felt like now that the report was over with it didn’t really matter too much anymore. and at the time I was really wondering what happened. I felt like it could’ve been a good discussion in general since it was just weird seeing that happen. I did some of my own research when I calmed down and I heard hackers or feds have done this before

As for your other question, Yes i’ve contacted the company and i’ve emailed 3 emails relating to FTX and claims, hoping I can get a response. I’m not in contact with anyone big from FTX who could help sadly.
198  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: November 14, 2023, 05:59:42 PM
I've heard both that it's "easier" to get my money back since it was from after the crash but I also heard people say that its not gonna happen. I'm not sure what but I hope something can be done

Have you got any email reply from them? If they replied, you can probably ask them what to do on this situation. If they haven't reply you, have you tried their other email address? Which one did you use to send them an email? support@ftx.com? Try these that's listed on their portal for claiming:

Code:
ftxinfo@ra.kroll.com
ftxquestions@kroll.com
ftxnoticing@ra.kroll.com
ftx@noticing.ra.kroll.com
claims@ftx.com

meanwhile, what's the development from the NFT company? Have they give you a legal power to control that wallet or something that might help you gain access to that fund?

Unfortunately, no reply from support@ftx.com - I actually tried to find more but couldn't just a little while ago. I'm surprised these emails even exist. Really amazing how you found them

I didn't know those emails existed.  I'll try to email claims@ftx.com and ftxquestions@kroll.com and post here if there's a response

Thanks again, I really hope they respond this time.

Also, I've posted what happened with the company above. They said that they highly doubt I could get it back since this happened after the FTX collapse but no response since. I suppose if I keep asking and show that there's hope maybe they could.
199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit has literally has thrown my money away, sending it to an FTX address on: November 14, 2023, 06:37:38 AM
I click on the address where its sent to and it looks like starting Yesterday and Today, a bunch of money is just being mass sent to this one address, including my money
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/3KUHpUCxaaJAsR5DQYB5rPYK8xwQprcZC9

is this something related to giving back the money from FTX victims? What's happening?

The money Rollbit sent was already confirmed and is now being transferred out. The outgoing transaction is being sent to a wallet used for consolidating recent deposits sent to FTX. There aren't any other clues as to the wallet's purpose because there is no other activity besides these consolidations.

The FTX claims website indicates that customers are only entitled to their balance prior to November 11, 2022. Since it is after the claim deadline and your lost funds were sent to FTX after the specified date it's not looking too favorable but perhaps the custodial service you used could amend their claim or submit a new one to try and get back those funds.

I've heard both that it's "easier" to get my money back since it was from after the crash but I also heard people say that its not gonna happen. I'm not sure what but I hope something can be done
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $300k worth of bitcoin from FTX moved to this one address? on: November 14, 2023, 05:26:02 AM
No, I couldn't unfortunately since I needed an FTX account it was the first step. A gambling casino owner sent my money to an FTX wallet and the company who owned this wallet said they highly doubted they could retrieve my money back since it was after the ftx collapse so they didn't try. The company also told me they were waiting months to receive their money back as well.

This sounds concerning, op. Could you elaborate your situation? and perhaps name the parties involved?

So, they sent your money to a FTX account that is not yours, correct? what for? and how sure are you that they actually sent money there? In addition, if they did not submit their claims, I'm afraid they're waiting for nothing.

I've already made a thread about the topic here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5471380.0

I'm more concerned if I could get my money back from FTX. Especially now that I see my money has randomly been moved.
