Not all ICO are scam. but hate to admit it but mostly are. i suggest doing more research about the ICO where you want to put your money on.

Diversification is key in crypto world you can't just put all your oranges in one basket, it good to invest in altcoins that looks promising with good return.

everyone has their own way of believing a thing, just like cryptocurrency but I agree with your statement about being patient because all the changes and growth of cryptocurrency takes time. 

I think ethereum is a very promising altcoin that can have a great future to make us rich, ethereum has its percentage to rise higher and faster than bitcoin in few years recently, so in not very far future ethereum will catch up with bitcoin and may defeat bitcoin in the future.

It is impossible to only one government to kill the cryptocurrencies but if the most countries/government has banned cryptocurrencies it might be the reason why our community will collapse,because who will support our currency if there is no country who supported it ? but it is not going to happen because some countries like venezuela has already supported the use of cryptocurrencies.

The altcoins definitely has a future. Of course, they can not catch bitcoin, but altcoins will grow in price many times. For example, recall ethereum cost 3 years before and how much it costs now??
