Atletico Madrid and Valencia are good to put bet on money line because both teams have solid record and much strong chance for today to win their matches easily.

I don't think Atletico madrid has any decent attack beside Anthony Griezzman , which makes it hard for them to score any goals.
I think that their defense is much better then their attack side and I think that it is much more likely that the match is going to be ended in a draw and not in a win.

Just go for under goals if you think Atletico Madrid will have hard time scoring, because surely Valencia will

Nice will face last season champions Monaco and it should be an interesting game it seems that visitors are favourites of this clash. Minaci perform alright thid season despite the loss if couple playerz and it’s worth noticing that they have won their last 4 home games in the league so I think they will be looking for a win to keep pressure over PSG so I'm going with Monaco to win

See such a solid win for Nice was a surprise considering their opening games. I would bet on Monaco, glad that I didn't
188  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-09-09] Bitcoin Maintains $4,200 Value Despite Troubling “News” From China on: September 10, 2017, 09:47:28 AM
BITCOIN PRICE DROPS ON CHINA SCARE

It is not entirely surprising to see the Bitcoin price responding negatively to yesterday’s China news. There is still some uncertainty regarding what the regulation entails exactly. Some news sources claim all exchanges will be banned from operating, whereas other sources indicate this was just a misunderstanding based on the earlier news regarding China’s ban on initial coin offerings. It is hard to make sense of it all, but for now, major Chinese exchanges are still operating normally.

Unfortunately, a lot of damage has been done in the wake of this “news”. The Bitcoin price took a very sharp tumble, resulting in an 8% loss over the past 24 hours. Although it is not the biggest dip we have seen in history, it also shows it only takes one (potentially fake) shred of news from Chinese regulators to send the price downward. This goes to show that many people still pay close attention to what the Chinese government aims to achieve.

With the Bitcoin price having declined by 8%, its market capitalization has also taken a  big hit. More specifically, the Bitcoin market cap hovers around the US$70 billion mark for the time being, whereas it was nearly US$76 billion not too long ago. Rest assured this lost value will be recovered sooner or later, as there is no way regulators can keep the Bitcoin price down for long periods of time. It’s also not the first time we have seen the Chinese trying to crash the market with news that can be interpreted in many different ways.

Luckily, it appears the Bitcoin trading volume is holding its own with relative ease. Although a lot of people will liquidate some of their assets in the coming days – until there is an official clarification of what is going on in China – the trading volume isn’t drying up. With 28 billion in 4-hour volume, Bitcoin has seen a lot of action across many different markets. In a way, it is remarkable that the price is still over US$4,200 right now.

Most of this trading volume originates from the Bitfinex exchange, which is not entirely surprising. OKCoin, BTCC, and Huobi are next up, and all of those platforms trade Bitcoin at values of US$3,900 and lower. It is evident there is a lot of negative market pressure in that part of the world, whereas other exchanges are all trading between US$4,270 and US$4.385. The Asian exchanges are certainly bringing the global market average down by quite a margin. Japanese and Korean exchanges aren’t showing such low prices right now, which could be an interesting trend to keep an eye on.

All things considered, it appears these Chinese “scares” have less of an effect every time they occur. We have seen nearly a dozen warnings from regulators regarding cryptocurrency over the past few years. Every time one happens, the price goes down for a few days before moving up again. This time, the downward momentum is far less prevalent than people would have expected. If there is any truth to this “ban” in the end, things could get very ugly very quickly, though.

189  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-09-09] 4 Key Misconceptions About Cryptocurrency on: September 10, 2017, 09:45:45 AM
Despite its seeming inevitability, crypto remains mysterious to the average person. To many, the word “blockchain” is still gibberish. Lack of knowledge leads to misconceptions about the technology and lingering doubts about its value.

During a recent discussion with Eric Lamison-White, Co-Founder of Pareto Network, we covered common misconceptions surrounding cryptocurrency. Pareto Network is a company that uses digital currency payments to incentivize objective financial information within its network.

4. I CAN’T SELL MY ASSETS BECAUSE THERE AREN’T ENOUGH PEOPLE BUYING CRYPTOCURRENCY

“Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets have a lot of liquidity, with surges in activity every day,” Lamison-White explains. “And while the market has its share of ups and downs, instantly buying or selling Bitcoin at the quoted price is actually a very straightforward procedure.”

Typically, a digital asset exchange is involved with the exchange of cryptocurrency. One exchange that’s been handling a large volume of transactions for several years now is Gemini. It promotes transparency by scheduling public auctions at certain times during the day where users can buy and sell millions of dollars worth of crypto.

Gemini and other exchanges function like juiced-up stock markets. Not only can they function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but they cater to users all over the world. These aren’t cloak and dagger operations – all you need is a desire to buy and sell cryptocurrency.

3. BITCOIN IS TOO PRONE TO THEFT TO BE A VIABLE MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE

As a former investigator of payment fraud for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Lamison-White knows a thing or two about security.

“It’s inaccurate to assume Bitcoin is any less secure than other payment methods,” he says. “There are $500,000 thefts happening every single day in fiat currencies. Fraud in traditional payment networks amounts to hundreds of millions per year. And companies like Square Inc list massive, crippling fraudulent transactions in their annual reports.”

Because crypto is a still an exotic newcomer to the scene, it suffers from overexposure. Bitcoin thefts are international news every time they occur, while the opposite is true of traditional payment methods. There are best practices for crypto just as there are for checks, banks, debit cards and wire transfers.

2. BITCOIN LACKS STRONG REGULATION

“Name another asset class so heavily regulated!” Lamison-White laughs.

The IRS and FinCEN within the Treasury Department, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, in some cases the SEC, and numerous state institutions all regulate Bitcoin, and lest you worry that this is too much governmental oversight, Lamison-White assures, “The regulations have little effect on either the consumer or trading experience.”

1. CRYPTOCURRENCY AND BITCOIN REQUIRE ELECTRICITY AND THE INTERNET. GOLD AND CASH DON’T

Even if the forecast calls for light snowfall and a 30 percent chance of apocalypse, Bitcoin will remain a viable means of exchange. Many people use Bitcoin without the internet already. Storing crypto, completing transactions, checking their balances – all of these activities are possible offline.

Says Lamison-White, “Understand that Bitcoin, the blockchain network, even the internet – these are all just concepts, and concepts are very hard to eliminate. Two or more computers are all that’s needed to create the internet and by extension a blockchain network like Bitcoin.”

“Besides,” he goes on to say, “it’s very hard to imagine there being a permanent loss of the internet and power. Even if people lose individual access to the internet, it could still exist in centralized areas, in the same way that libraries provide internet access to the local community here in the US.” Instead of trading bottle caps or seashells, humanity would be far better served by a transparent managed money supply, such as Bitcoin.

The day is fast approaching when paying with Bitcoin will be as familiar as popping a quarter into the parking meter. ICOs have created millionaires in less than three years. It’s time for even the most resistant among us to educate themselves.

Mais fácil os bancos engolirem e incorporarem as exchanges do que as exchanges virarem bancos no futuro.

Bastante adequado para uma introdução a uma altcoin ser chamada de introdução ao mercado de crocodilos.

196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 03, 2017, 03:39:46 AM
Just to woke you up guys Byteball will have airdrop soon.
But you need to know that rates where changesd.
1GB for 160BTC
10% of all in account balance

I couldn't find information on minimum balance require for byteball. I only have some KBs instead of a GB. Also I don't have a balance of even 1 btc. Do I still get corresponding amount of bytes?

If they have a minimum balance, will only be for dust, if you have any decent amount I think you should not worry.
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 03, 2017, 03:34:27 AM
Bitcoin is for anyone with money.

If there is enough demand and potential it will be eventually be accessible to everyone that can afford it, like happened with Internet.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: September 03, 2017, 03:31:29 AM
There is no way to know who owns the biggest number of Bitcoins.

The early day coins still are around and there is no way even to know if someone has their private keys.

Imagine if Argentina failed to qualify for the World Cup, with all the top class players they have it would be embarrassing.

They won't, 2 of their 3 next games won't be hard so they should qualify with ease
