181  Other / Meta / Re: Perma Ban Accounts like this on: May 30, 2015, 02:16:08 AM
It would be too controversial to ban scammer accounts, the staff would be accused of abusing powers even more than they already do. This is why the trust system was implemented and it's unlikely that anyone would trade with that account or any others like it.

That will explain it. I'll lock this topic due to the nature of its purpose.
182  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinbet.ag-10 CHIP GTD DICE FREEROLL TODAY! Win Free BTC, 25 Max Entries! on: May 30, 2015, 01:29:34 AM
What kind of promo's do you plan off offering to the Casino? Also, do you plan to have a signature campaign in the future? BTW, I love Betcoin.ag and the site layout. Are you going to implement any of their systems such as the points system they have?
183  Other / Meta / Perma Ban Accounts like this on: May 30, 2015, 01:19:02 AM
Why not perma ban accounts like this? I think it would be a good decision by the administration to ban these sort of accounts permanently. I just found this account by accident and was looking through its history. Clearly the account has been used for no good. Why not remove it from the system all together? I know that the owner can make another account just as easy. But I think with accounts like this, they need to be banned so they cannot participate in any signature campaigns that allow -ve trust accounts into their campaign.  These users are up to no good so why let them continue?

184  Other / Meta / Re: Why is my Account Banned? on: May 30, 2015, 01:00:48 AM
From the looks of it, you was probably banned for insubstantial posts. I looked through the last 2 pages of posts that you made and they was not 1 that I seen that was over 2 lines. Most of your posts consists of 5 or 6 words. I would say this is the most obvious reason that you were banned. Bitcointalk is making a crackdown on spam quality posts. In the future try to put a little effort into it.
185  Economy / Lending / Re: in a need for a small loan on: May 30, 2015, 12:53:32 AM
I can provide you with this loan if you can provide a signed message from the account. Also how are you wanting the loan? You say that you need $20. Is that $20 in btc or is that fiat? I can use WU or MG to get you the fiat funds if that is needed provided that you cover any and all fee's associated with WU or MG. Also, what is your current rate of interest that you are asking? I can provide the loan in btc @10% interest and repayment within 2 weeks.

189  Other / Meta / Re: Tomatocage account banned? on: May 29, 2015, 08:58:09 PM
If this was done by an automated system that was put in place then I guess it effectively protected the original owner of the account. I guess theymos could shed some light on this

I believe so, and it's a similar case where you can't register a new account from a TOR IP. It would be nice to get official confirmation on this though.

Whenever I try to register a account through TOR this is the message I am receiving now. I no longer receive I need so send "x" amount of BTC to the specified address. Could be related to the recent attacks on the forum.

Well I agree with you, but no one else would especially not Vod

If I was you, I would try to stop the cross platform listings away from here. But that is not my decision to make. Its your life, loan, and account. You are free to do with them anything you want. Just a recommendation is all.

I say again:
REGARDLESS you are both missing the point...
Vod is abusing the trust system for things that happen on foreign sites...

BTCjam has nothing to do with Vod or Bitcointalk

I would like to know for a better understanding as of why Vod -ve reps users that advertise on bitcointalk.org their btcjam funding campaign? Could you please explain this to me Vod? Thx.

I haven't seen him leaving a negative feedback for just advertising BTCJam link here. He left negative to SavellM feedback because a user without trust was asking for a ~7.5BTC loan.

No I was not, I did exactly that, I linked to my BTCjam listing.
I did not ask here for a 7.5 btc loan

I could somewhat understand if you are tying to cross platform the loan. Meaning asking on here for funding for the btcjam loan. If Vod feels that for some reason you are not to be trusted, that is his right to do so. But if you did not ask on here to help with the funding on BTCJam, then that is not abusing his trust authority in my mind. Maybe he has his reasoning behind the -ve.

Where do I find my UID? I tried putting in my bct name, nor9865, but that's invalid. I've looked through my profile and sub boards and don't see it. Am I missing it somewhere?

Click on your name after you make a post over to the left. And you'll see this link in your browser: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=XXXXXX

XXXXXX is your UID. Yours is: 59502

Heres the way to find your UID. Hope it helps

For
$90 USD
PayPal
Will not go first.

Use escrow for the BTC then. Although I would still only recommend accepting paypal from reputable users here otherwise you'll risk getting the payment reversed if exchanging with an unreliable source.

I agree. 1-3-6 Months down the road, they can still do a chargeback for Paypal claiming they didnt see it til now. At least with reputable members of the forum you lower the percentage of risk of chargeback to your account.

I'm fairly sure that I had met the minimum post requirements prior to Bitcointalk.org being offline for a few days.
