181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: July 28, 2016, 06:07:12 AM
Haters will only see someone on bad side only, erasing the whole good sides.  Diego Costa has scored 43 goals from 93 appearances at atletico Madrid and 32 goals from 54 appearances at chelsea so far , still call him an ordinary striker? Stay away from hate something too much .

Diego costa made as much foul as goals that he had scored for both atletico and chelsea. The foul that he has made is no longer could be tolerate as he was quite brutal on the field and atletico is paying for a brutal kid that tries to show pff his anger to the world instead of a striker if they are really going to sign him back

i can not judge his performance 100% but it is just a bad start . and yeaaa as i predicted real madrid will not win easily.

He is actually good enough in the early of the game. You cant judge his performance in a friendly game and also he still needs some time to adapt to real madrid's style of playing because he used to play for juventus, the spanish and itallian got a very different atyle in football
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: July 28, 2016, 05:56:50 AM

so carlos tevez was rejected conte offer to play at chelsea?
surprising he choose to stay at smaller league smaller club .
but i respect his decision that he want play his last career in argentina a place where he born and spend time with family.

If only he is younger then he would accept that offer, with his current shape he wont be able to compete in the europe anymore. Unless he wants to destroy his career then he could do so however he should be staying on argentina right now and stays as a winner rather than getting crushed in premier league

Real Madrid v Paris Saint-Germain: After big loss of Zlatan PSG is not in their same power, but it's a friendly tournament. Real Madrid is one step ahead.

Actually PSG is one step ahead right now, they got the first goal in the second minutes and it wont be weird if they are going to score the second one soon enough. Real madrid doesnt have ronaldo or bale on their squad so it wont be difficult for PSG to win even without zlatan on their side
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 27, 2016, 11:46:10 PM
Manchester City are confident they will be able to buy John Stones from Everton but may only acquire Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus if Pep Guardiola is unsure about the fitness of Vincent Kompany.

Guardiola sees Stones as the type of ball-playing central defender he wants for City. Everton values Stones at £50 million while City value him closer to the £42 million

Rumours are out that guardiola will be trying to sign bonucci as well as stones eventhough kompany is fit to play. With so many schedule this season, they cant really afford to keep on going with kompany all the time, replacement should be made and therefore the better options would be to have more defender
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: July 27, 2016, 11:14:58 PM
napoli has almost acquired the polish Milik from Ajax for 25M . He is an interesting young player but I don't think that is enough to replace Higuain. Absolutely must buy a great striker.

With higuain switching over to juventus, they got the money to sign players now what they need is to find a proper replacement for him. Considering that there are still alot of better options out there, Im not sure why are they trying to sign milik from ajax, although he is a great player I dont really think it is worth it
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 27, 2016, 03:31:02 PM
However it is not advisable to hold all your investment in forms of bitcoins as we can never ascertain the future. You only hold an amount that you can manage to lose and you could use your earnings here in this forum if you have a job by considering it as your savings and investment at the same so it would be less risky for you.

Saving and investing has almost the same risk , people just doesnt realize it yet. By saving your money in fiat you are actually exposed to inflation ( everyone is ) however in term of investing you are exposed to the risk that your investment could be losing its value the moment you blink your eyes
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP 2016 Discussion and Tips on: July 27, 2016, 03:17:12 PM
Borussia Dortmund are favourites of this clash. The German team have already played a couple of friendly games this summer, whereas Manchester City had only 1 match in pre-season so far.

Borussia Dortmund vs Manchester City Borussia Dortmund wins

Im not sure if I get this correctly but manchester city is definitely going to be the favourites of this group to win. It seems to me that mourinho isnt interested with the cup and guardiola has stated that he might be doing his best for these friendlies so I dont really think dortmund is going to win this one
189  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: July 27, 2016, 03:04:28 PM

if apps ever start deciding to do this and it affects MoneyPot's volume we will simply change our T&C ...

Ok thank you. I'm a little surprised that Betterbets at least has not done this yet. I think if MP and certain app/casinos really grow and profits accumulate, some of the larger apps/casinos will take a look at bankrolling some of their own action. First world problems I guess ...

I speak with Bjorn pretty frequently.. I can say with 99.99% confidence that BetterBets will never self bankroll for BTC bets.

the answer s here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1366689.msg15721444#msg15721444

but why to wait for it to happen that is my question

I don't think that this is the question if BB would do it or not. if MP does not like that any app will do this why not shut down this option and not offer it at all?

How can mp stops it if the app won't send them the bets? The app owner can choose if they want to send bets to mp or not, its just the matter of coding

Stopping the feature wont stop an apps from offering the game with their own bankroll. They could easily split themselves up from moneypot and do it however the answer for your question has been listed as well in accoin's post

This is not an issue whatsoever, if apps ever start deciding to do this and it affects MoneyPot's volume we will simply change our T&C.

So there is still a good chance that if an apps do it, it might turns out to be good for MP as well. It might offer more gambler to try out the site which of course benefit the other apps as well

It is good that MP acknowledge and keep a lookout for any potential problems. It is great that the MP is ready to deal with such issues, but be careful when changing the T&C. There are some people that may pick on MP to accuse them of 'cheating' as when it is good for them, they never do anything but when it is bad for them, they turned the rules to continue to benefit them.

Is this means that you are telling them to shut down those features as well right now instead of trying to change their T&C when there is a problem regarding this in the future? well I can say one thing with certainty though, if someone is planning to bankroll his own site , he probably will not be using moneypot again but instead build everything on his own
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 27, 2016, 03:01:44 PM
I will choose bitcoin over gold. Why? because I have no idea on how I will earn gold or how will use it. The only thing I know about gold is I can sell it to those smiths or pawnshops.

People choose gold over the other investment in this world not because they know how to use it or deal with it but because it has the most stable price among every other thing currently. If someone wants to save up their money against inflation then gold is probably the most suitable thing for that

Such people are aptly but somewhat derogatory called "gold bugs" (though they are proud being nicknamed like that)

These kind of people is actually a great 'asset' for bitcoin growth. As they tend to keep their fiat in form of gold because of inflation, they probably will get their hands on bitcoin as well if they know about this, the only problem is that the volatility is killing the chance for people to do so right now
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 27, 2016, 02:45:37 PM
But mate LVG wasn't the right coach for Manchester United form the beginning. You can't fault the players if the manager is giving them wrong tactical orders and the team formation is messed up as well. I do admit some players performed really badly even though they cost a lot of money and the expectations were high but in football coach and players must click together otherwise the teamwork isn't going to improve much in the new season either. I just hope that Mourinho will do a better job than LVG.

There will never be a perfect coach, even sir alex made alot of mistake during his early coaching years even some horrible mistake like letting pogba move away and I think LvG has done quite a great job, he didnt get the premier league trophy for united but atleast united won the FA cup after these few years without anything

I think a miracle will not come twice, because you can see the changes in the Premier league this season so great, with the arrival of some players and a great coach.

It wont happen twice for sure however leicester is always free to try their luck once again. They have lost kante to chelsea and mahrez is probably going to be signed by arsenal soon so with only vardy on their team now, miracle wont happen again for sure and even with all those previous season player, it wont be happening once again

195  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: July 26, 2016, 04:57:04 PM
to me bitcoin is so safe there is no doubt about this.

You should know that everything that is connected to the internet is not safe at all including bitcoin so unless you take a proper measurement in securing your bitcoin then it is not safe at all, that means it will involved you in getting a cold wallet which is quite inconvenient if you are going to use bitcoin for daily usage
196  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: July 26, 2016, 04:48:18 PM
App owners do bet on their own sites, however they make up a very minor portion of the site volume.

Let me help in crunching down some simple number to help understand this.

Assuming that an app owner wager 100 bitcoin of volume in his 1 % house edge site, that gives him half of the house edge back to him as app owner

So 50 % of 1 % house edge * 100 bitcoins = 0.5 bitcoin

Assuming that there is no variance or anything at all, he will lose 1 bitcoin for every 100 bitcoins volume

Which means he lose approx 0.5 bitcoin every 100 bitcoin volume

In the end it will be the same as normal player betting on a 0.5 % house edge?

P.S : Is the share of app profit still 50 % of the house edge?

Your calculation is right. So basically, it is like losing 1 btc but you still are able to get back 50% of it which is 0.5btc back. However, i remember that it is not 50%. I remember there is one time i hear that it also factor in on the fee for campaign signatures and some other misc stuffs.

Yeah it seems my calculation is wrong, it cant be 50 % at all because the current system actually has a commission structure to moneypot for every wagered amount so it cant be that however assuming that it is then the numbers are actually correct , in the end it will be mostly the same
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: July 26, 2016, 04:45:56 PM
So adopting Bitcoin as legal tender (along with other major currencies) may be the right step for a desperate government of a small country

Does or will it have any major effect for the exchange rate of bitcoin considering that some desperate government switch over to bitcoin? I dont really this is going to make a significant impact, unless we could get UK to get their hands on bitcoin then all of this will be meaningless isnt it
198  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Olympic Football Tournament Rio 2016 on: July 26, 2016, 04:41:33 PM

I'd go with brazil to win, they are at home and its their main sport. Its hard to say with these events though as the teams can be made up of such random players.

If the main team of brazil cant do anything on copa america , do you really think their olympic team which consists mostly on young players will be able to win the gold medal? It wont be possible, brazil has ended their era with their lame performance of the last copa america and they are having hard time in raising future stars currently, let alone olympic games
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 26, 2016, 04:33:44 PM
I hope Atletico Madrid win the champions league this year

i think is posible win the champion league is aletico madrid
but is barcelona real madrid bayern munchen is containder strong is win champion leage
in squad player atletico madrid not enough strong is compare real madrid barcelona bayaern munchen manchester city and paris saint germain

They have griezman and now they are going to sign diego costa back according to some news. They have shown that they still has the quality to win against real madrid and barcelona in spanish league so dealing with few big teams from the other league wont actually matter to them
