You probably do not know what legit means, a website run by russians with shady exchange/rate/fee/margin/whatever (just for god sake learn some english so you could use appropriate words). Coinbase is legit, blockchain.info yeah, but you... stop making fools of yourself. Who is you reputable VC? The prince of Nigeria VC? Yeah they are quite good ones, I keep on receiving investment proposals from them.
The issue is still open as you cannot answer a very simple question: why e-coin/wirex has the most unfavourable exchange rate among all bitcoin debit card providers?

Newby coming out of nowhere accusing a legit company with over 2 years in this market which is barely 2 years old itself, one of the first movers and leader, one aiming for the long term, one raising financing from crowdfunding (proper due diligence and trust from the community) and about to close a round with a reputable VC (even more due diligence and trust from professionals)? "Unbelievable" is a light word for your lame accusation, I have more suitable ones, but will hold them not to bring any more negativity to this thread. Matter closed. Maybe you can find something more useful and productive to do than trolling. Just a thought. |

You have come up with a number and ask us to prove something? 2) "formulas", where we get the rate, how we get the rate, or whatever you call it is sensitive information, not for public 3) You've been posting about 5%, then congratulations on 2.8%, etc, making statements with no grounds or proof, often contradicting yourselves, nevertheless keep demanding some proof from our side. Don't want to throw accusations like you are doing, but given the tone and inconsistency of the posts, as well as the newly created accounts, can't really be sure that you are not simply: - trolling the thread - or trying to make a name for yourselves (negative is always easier, isn't it? try building something instead of trying to ruin..) - and/or being paid for these posts by someone else (should I ask for proof that you are not?..) @gosha you started to ignore me? You still did not explain how your bitcoin price is calculated, because we all see it's around 5% comparing to market rate (bitstamp, itbit, kraken and etc). You say it's not 5%, please provide proof.
you're just too loud to be ignored what proof have you provided? there was another post just before yours clearly showing much less than 5%. all has been explained above, matter closed, it's been too much talk already. No, no issues as of lately, hope it stays the same. I mean i can't load my card since yesterday but your message says its from the bank so no point on complaining about that since its not your guys fault.
Regarding of the info, i was checking your twitter one time and saw a tweet made some time ago saying e-coin will be resume when a bitcoin ledger will be online, something like blockchain but different, i forgot the name. I presume thats where you guys are getting the confirmations on btc transactions and price fluctuation and etc, so when they have problems e-coin also have problems.

Yet, until the change to the new platform is completed, there may still be issues, hope you guys can bare with us, it is a really daunting task, and we are throwing a lot of resources at it, yet, it does take time. Live chat functionality already is there, we are just putting off the launch because of the existing backlog of support tickets, new team members still being trained, etc. Things will be getting better! |

I really found it really hard to put my money into debit card that they take monthly fee, the only time I use them is when I want to buy online, the best thing to do is to use local bitcoin and exchange your bitcoin into either cash or find into your PayPal or any other online money transfer that you use.
could you explain what was hard, please? harder to make 1-2 clicks than dealing via localbitcoins?? |

Уважаемый gosha Я вот сейчас хотела зайти поблагодарить и сказать что мне была предложена компенсация и что я удовлетворена общением с Аленой. НО раз вы решили продолжить полемику на форуме... Поправляю вас Долларовый убыток был не теоретический, а РЕАЛЬНЫЙ, Вы не исполнили мою заявку на зачисление определенной суммы в USD и задержали средства, в следствие вашей медлительности курс упал и после того как средства были возвращены мне пришлось продать их по существенно более низкому курсу. Если бы вы работали нормально, хотя бы среагировали в течение 24-х часов то делать бы мне этого не пришлось. МАЛО того, баланс БТС тоже уменьшился, и пока что я не услышала почему. Я не считала разницу с самым высоким курсом, я считала курс от моей заявки и то что я смогла получить после того как вы свой косяк починили. Что я могла сделать ? Вы вообще в курсе что те БТС были проданы почти сразу после того как вернулись на аккаунт? Вы предложили 50$ в виде компенсации, и я согласилась, только зачем вы сюда вылезли с таким постом? Мне что вас еще пожалеть нужно за то что вы работает не достаточно хорошо чтобы потерь своих клиентов минимизировать или по кланяться за эти 50$? Мне еще очень интересно, вы по должности главнее Алены или нет? Я так понимаю что ДА. сюда написал, поскольку народ явно жаждал зрелищ и информации о разрешении ситуации. А авторы большинства озвученных проблем, к сожалению, скоры на расправу только при возникновении проблемы, при разрешении обычно тишина. Видимо чуть поторопился, не дождался Вашего комментария. Курс вчера-позавчера был примерно такой же, если не выше, чем на момент несостоявшейся транзакции - имел в виду только это. Если Вам пришлось продать по менее выгодному курсу, то это стечение обстоятельств, как и то, что курс изначально ушел вниз, а не вверх. Как и то, что когда не ответили в течение 24 часов, мог уйти и вниз, и вверх, и за 2 часа, и быстрее. Косяки бывают, в данный момент чаще, чем хотелось бы, но какой-то их процент неизбежен, и не только у нас, учитывая и специфику блокчейн, и то, что не все всегда только от нас зависит. Кто-то "теряет", кто-то выигрывает, естественно, шум возникает только в первом случае, второй воспринимается как данность. С балансом БТС, естественно, разберемся. Тут демократический форум, все равны, думаю, нет смысла мериться должностями |

Надо понимать, что Wirex
в убыток себе работать не будет. И любые свои проёбы будет решать за счет пользователей.
Разве это не хорошо узнать как решает проблемы конкретная компания. Ну и потом, в убыток то конечно никто работать не станет, но к примеру положительное решение об компенсации это жирный + в репу компании + не забывайте, возможно оставшись после такой ситуации клиент, принесет сервису на много больше денег чем какие-то жалкие 100$ Например если говорить обо мне, я за время пользования сервисом принес на порядок больше прибыли, может в случае с Grekk таже самая история. Grekk советую по мере решения вопроса, описать историю и в англоязычной ветке. Уважаемая @Grekk, поправьте меня, если что не так понял: - баланс BTC вам вернули в полном объеме. Т.е., "фактический" долларовый убыток - чисто теоретический - курс с тех пор менялся как в одну, так и в другую сторону. Конечно выгодно разницу с самым высоким курсом, но, полностью осознавая и не отрицая наш косяк, наверно все же не до конца правомерно - помимо того, что Вы уже не раз могли бы вывести доллары по выгодному курсу, мы предложили компенсацию за моральный ущерб в размере $50. Не миллион конечно, чтобы восстановить все нервные клетки, но и не копейки, учитывая, что это наш чистый убыток. Ждем Вашего подтверждения |

I've had numerous problems with e-coin myself, as anyone can see along this thread, but all ended up resolved by their team, some sooner than I expected and some not.
I just deposited 0.3 BTC on my wallet, waited 5 confirmations and tried to load my card, with ALOT of emotions of my transaction might get stuck.
So here I am, on a non working sunday night and my transaction went through in 1 minute.
So yes, lets mention the good parts about e-coin as well, not just the bad.
First time i'm replying to this service without complaining hehe.

Good for you that it did not got stuck like it happen to me. What I must do for not get my funds disappear? from what I can conclude, i think at this point its just a matter of luck I would still insist you having at least 5 confirmations before moving the funds on your card from what i have gathered, e-coin it relying on an external api that is not owned by them, i forgot the name, and when that thing goes nuts, so do our transactions an explanation was done earlier, not sure you had read it. Also not sure where your "gathered" information comes from. Is there still an issue or has it been solved? |
