Any ETA for when we can except a premiere for V13?
Its going to be done in stages over the next few months, the team said lots of coding work and testing to do.

It really is unsubstantiated FUD, nothing else. It's also completely baseless; I'll stop wasting time to answer mere baseless FUD.
I teach you some maths, when FUD screeches FUD twice this is generally a cube power based on the size of the original FUD (i.e. you) So when FUD chants FUD twice, this is FUD * FUD * FUD = FUD ^ 3, This is known as the cube law of FUD.

To be honest i missed part Deux too as i changed my mind with regards to going (i thought the Dash topic would be far more about fintech stuff and i thought i would not feel comfortable there). I just assumed (or read) they had a few beers at the end... i just hope they didn't turn it into a second octoberfest .. with Holger with them and all ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) (just joking Holger, i heard you were sick) It looked more formal than first, and I bet there wasn't excellent Thai food to kick things off at start either ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) @Otoh, sorry I ate all your fish cakes, btw ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

... i think most devs are experiencing some jetlag right now .. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) (and maybe a bit of a hangover from that excellent Dutch beer) Sorry I missed part Deux at fintech, and the bar/restaurant chill section at the end. I bet everyone was a lot more relaxed by then.

Looking at the way the proposals are listed it shouldn't be too hard to include voting in the GUI client... maybe just a year or three with my uber coding skillz ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) There's lots of stuff could be included in clients though, ... Actually it wouldn't be TOO hard to add voting to the wallet, what I did here can also be done within the wallet. I still hesitate because there are already a lot of things in the wallet which confuse beginners, and the target group of this feature would be quite small. Convince me ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Arrrr go on! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhaZFqEgFaEand if thats not enough, https://youtu.be/RSW6oDckOjo?t=1m29sCan't get more convincing than that ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

http://blog.coinkite.com/post/130318407326/ongoing-bitcoin-malleability-attack-low-s-highThe modification that’s being made to the transactions is well understood and isn’t new: it is a simple numeric tweak to one number (S) in the ECDSA signature. It’s documented as part of BIP62 and is called the “low S” requirement. Coinkite always uses the lower S value, but these pranksters have been replacing that with the higher S value.
Transactions are being changed without any knowledge of the private keys involved. The change does not affect the source, destination, or amounts of the funds, so it isn’t obvious when it first happens... Once you send a transaction, you need to understand that your transaction might actually get into a block under a different hash... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.financemagnates.com%2Fcryptocurrency%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F7%2F2015%2F10%2FAccepted-vs-Rejected.png&t=663&c=KEOlb4g91sSmfw)

So many great things going on here, and being worked on. Could Dash be a contender of the fastest or most scalable crypto? (measured in possible TPS) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1203228.0It would be cool to hear the Dash experts there. I haven't been able to max out Dash instantX by flooding testnet because the balance goes to unconfirmed spent change and the DOS window can't keep up with the client demands,it is probably better to wait for the Dash 'evolution' roll out then the argument against the 4 second transaction locking 5 confirmation guarantee kinda becomes a moot point.

Yes someone at the meetup has quite a few bitcoin and litecoin stuck for last 2 days and account has become locked. He got his Dash out, and was hoping its merely a hot wallet/cold wallet limitation due to the recent 'news' ...

The 1500 transaction per second and 700 million users is for starters, its infinitely scalable.

So... tok: Still feeling protective towards that fat, acne-faced Moronero-pig?
No. Although I wouldn't feel the need for such overtly personalised language. His actions speak for themselves. It did surprise me, he had the courage to leave the dark depths of his cave, this must be one of the more daring ones. Even Gollum was known to leave the innards of the Misty Mountain occasionally although he hated the light and didn't stay out long ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.councilofelrond.com%2Falbums%2FFilm-RotK-4-6%2F409_ingang.jpg&t=663&c=En6Ih-nQX9RtYA)

hmmm, to go or not to go ? ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) (i happen to have a free day tomorrow) decisions, decisions, decisions...... edit : looks like i made the decision for me (not that many chairs left to think long about it anyways) You gotta go, we need live cryptic updates and photo expo coverage, and I accidentally booked the flight back too early, so its down to you now ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) TIA.

EDIT: Wow - just as I post that, look ^ who happens to pop in lol ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) The response time is truly phenomenal, wish I could that kind of speedy response from my cable provider. But you are right, lets focus on the work that needs to be done by all of us in the next few months, this can happen but the team needs our help as much as possible, lets do our bit ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Thats why only a few gullible religious fanatics would ever swallow it as being a viable public commodity.
let such anoraks sneak around with their little flyers and toxic propaganda. They're only atrophying their own community and their marketcap with it.
Did you know that Monero can not be blockchain pruned because of ring signatures and so SPV wallets are off the table. Can't see how its scalable with an already bloated blockchain as the liteweight wallets are somewhat tricky, what happens if even 1% of the whole world started using it? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Does anyone have the same problem that I'm having? Its been 2 days that the Dash Core is saying "4 weeks behind" and can't process blocks. I'm using Dash Core version v0.11.2.23-g9646c5f-beta (32-bit) Is there anything to do? Thanks.
Yer I got stuck around that point on an old wallet, you should be alright upgrading, make a couple of backups on a memory stick first, before upgrading to V12 just in case. Delete your peers and mncache, and if that doesn't work, delete everything apart from the wallet and do a fresh installation.
