I am amazed no one mentioned this

 Immune to 51% attacks.  Shocked

If this isn't the biggest and "meanest" claim in that list, I don't know what is. This alone is possibly the biggest game changer in the entire history of crypto's from the original Satoshi break through, consensus by PoW. The heart of the blockchain!

The implications of this are mind-boggling. I have no clue what Evan has in store for this one, but when (and not "if", given development track record) this gets confirmed... wow

It's very logical, and probably relatively easy given the implementation of InstantX. Simply have all transactions use InstantX, by default, at the protocol level, and this problem is solved. I think?

Yes someone at the meetup has quite a few bitcoin and litecoin stuck for last 2 days and account has become locked.
He got his Dash out, and was hoping its merely a hot wallet/cold wallet limitation due to the recent 'news' ...

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

I can also see that, I mean it's right up there in the presentation. Just need to link the dots. What I mean is not what solution for it is, but the massive implications it will have.

Adam, honestly nobody cares about that.  Nothing in crypto can compare to this project in terms of innovation and future promise, nothing.  Even IF the insta was intentional, I'm very ok with that.  People don't stay interested in evolving their coins' development if they are not making bank.  You cannot deny that fact.

As someone else already said, WHEN this project/technology is adopted it will be by larger financial entities that care about functionality, not how it was created.

I know you are butthurt for some reason that's important to you, and I honestly feel for ya. But maybe you should consider jumping in here where you won't have the rug pulled out from under you...like I know has happened to you in the past.  It's happened to everyone here I'm sure.  The trick in crypto...and in life though, is to pick yourself up and point yourself in the right direction with lessons learned when something goes wrong and do better next time.

This project is big and will be getting better as time goes on.  Your continuous negativity is only bringing you down and nothing you type in here is going to make even the smallest difference in the end.

Back on ignore, I just needed to see your response to the prior post that mentioned you for the lulz.

Just another example of how lousy Bitcoin's development/developers have been. Malleability has been a known issue for four years, and they still have done nothing to fix it. It almost boggles the mind.

Just look at what Dash has done in less than two years. Bitcoin's governance is fatally flawed, and it's ultimately going to cause grave damage to the currency.

Monero - Cloning the premined uber-scam "Bytecoin" and acting surprised when our carbon-copied public miner is exposed as crippled by independent research
Monero - Ninjamining unknown millions of coins within our inner circle through optimized miners while the public gets a crippled one
Monero - The perfect instrument for ninjamining because our CryptoNote-blockchain (aka copycat technology) is invisible
Monero - Projecting our fraud on DASH and yelling "instamine" because no one can see that we are the actual scammers!
Monero - Evan should have chosen CryptoNote for DASH to hide his instamine like we did with our ninjamine!*

So you're worried about the DASH instamine? On August 8, 2015 DASH reached a higher relative distribution than Bitcoin. Meanwhile Satoshi still holds 1 million BTC and no one bats an eye. PLUS: We can PROVE our distribution because our blockchain isn't fucking invisible! I guess you're shit outta luck Moronero.

DASH - InstaMine, InstaPrivacy, InstanTX, InstaCentivizedNodes, InstaGovernance, InstaDevelopment, InstaFunding, InstaSuccess, InstaAwesome!

Instamine - The root of Awesomeness.

*Note: Please notice how I am using their same exact rhetoric against them: The crippled miner was a fact and I made the conclusion that they used it as an "unfair advantage" for themselves just like the claim the instamine was used as an unfair advantage by the founders of DASH. Both arguments can be discussed to death and both arguments ultimately matter.... you guessed it: shit.

Debating about the initial distribution of then worthless cryptographic tokens is like complaining why all the gold on earth wasn't distributed fairly all over the planet, billions of years ago, back when there was no one to value it

Do you have one with pictures? Wink

Thanks, got to get my head around this Smiley

EDIT: Make that a popup book, this is making my brain itch but the wiki page on Disjoint sets has pictures so getting there slowly Smiley

In this video Evan  explains decentralized oracles, is a must watch to understand subquorums.

Dash Evolution is truly unreal:

1) Immune to 51% attacks.
2) Built-in and instant anonymity at the protocol level.
3) Ability to handle up to 1500 TPS with greater scalability improvements to come.

The decentralized programmable API, in the end, may be the biggest game changer of all. We know that Evan's been looking for a way to make Dash more accessible and easier to use for the average person. If this leads to some sort of a "swipe it and forget it" solution (a la credit cards), then the potential is limitless.

I'm probably going to get in trouble for even saying this, and I'm NOT trying to hype Dash, but our current marketcap is only fourteen million dollars. It's very easy to imagine a thousand-fold increase in the coming years.

Jestah, Adam is a paid troll (Ice is not, I guess, Ice invested too much in Monero and is mentally disturbed).

This guy is trolling like a clerk. Every day the same, just repeating like a robot. Since march/2015 almost no other interests in Bitcointalk.

Some big bagholder of another currency is paying Adam to do a job. Be aware of that  Wink .
