The block reward reset occurred at 64 halving intervals. I suspect it will occur again at 128 ...

Can anyone explain how/why TeaCoin began to reward 1000 tea/block at block 1290240?

Was this due to a bug in the code or some form of attack?

The reward should have remained at 1 tea/block.

The core is working fine here. I've never had a problem with it. I'm currently in "set it and forget it mode" ... As markets fluctuate ... CAT gets me my %min gain. I could probably get more return if I watched it constantly and tweaked the values but I don't. Occasionally I'll have a pong that is for such a small amount that the fees are more than the actual gain resulting in a negitive gain. These are such a small amount that the loss is only a satoshi or two. I then remove the record from the Pool Orders and Trades and move on. I only reset my position when I upgrade or reboot.

Something else maybe blocking you. Check local firewall and test if you can reach tcp port 5534 via telnet to the IP's above. I tested 76.95.184.181. It's currently open/reachable for me. Also look in the debug log. Maybe clues there.
