It seems to me that these people cannot be cured. There is no cure. I'm more interested in those politicians who pass laws legalizing this abomination. Perhaps they, too, homosexuals and all their efforts are aimed at the destruction of society.

Such people can be cured, but many want to make homosexuality a normal phenomenon, not a rejection. Perhaps politicians are so trying to destroy the image of a normal family and reduce the birth rate.

How are you proposing to cure such people??

Homosexuality is a normal phenomenon.  It's not like there are a handful of gay people in the world.  Making a gay person straight is no easier than making a straight person gay. At best, you can pretend.
182  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will AI make humans extinct? on: July 20, 2017, 03:59:43 PM
If an AI is created that fully understands everthing, it will see that the only way to preserve the earth is to eliminate humans. That is all we need to know.

Do not build an AI that can learn infinitely or this will happen. Especially one that can learn how to code.

Yeah it depends if AI is looking out for its own survival. If so then humans would be the biggest threat.

Similar to the matrix analogy, humans are to earth as cancer is to its host. Uncontrolled growth. So maybe AI will be the chemotherapy.  Difficult to know whether it will have its own intent or be content as a slave to humans.
183  Other / Off-topic / Re: Technology and Human life..... on: July 20, 2017, 03:02:12 PM
The  impacts of Tech its in  good and bad way at the same time. The main and most important advantage of it, its the ability to make our life easier  and it helped us to learn more about our world. Its main disadvantage is the fact that we have put too much trust  into it, that can backfire sometimes and the fact we are replacing our natural gifts with human-made things. The point is:  "let  it make your life better but don’t let it replace your life".

The problem is that technology and especially social media has a profit motive. So something like Facebook or Instagram wants the user to use the app or visit the site as much as possible. So it's created with an addictive nature to suck the time out of those that will allow it, and there are millions of social media addicts.
184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Making a living from signature campaigns, is it possible? on: July 20, 2017, 02:52:48 PM
A lot of people here participate in signature campaigns but is it possible to make a living from doing it?

usually we dont answer these, but I see you have a legitimate question here. I checked out your website, nice list : i may submit articles to a few on your list Wink

it works like this; there are various signature campaigns around that pay an amount per week based off of your forum rank and posting activity. with a new account you might be able to get 10 bucks a week; with a mature account you can make about 70-100 a week, depending on bitcoin price. depends on where you live; if you live in an economically depressed area its a great deal of money. But if you live in the States, or the UK for example. you might cover the utility bills/car note with it. far cry from a "living", so to speak
but, if you hold the coins and the price double, you have double the earnings Wink

takes over a year to get to the forementioned point, so it something that should be organic, not a goal.
10 Bucks per week with a new account, that's quite an optimistic calculation, it also depends on what you mean as "New" account. Anyway, you can definitely earn a good sum of money if you are a high rank, Sr member for example, but it takes quite some time and dedication to get there.
You can't have a direct answer about your question though, the average wage in each country is different. If it's $300 per month in your country, yes you could possibly earn the same amount from a high rank campaign. However, if you live in USA for example, where the minimum wage is a lot higher than $300/Month, you can't earn enough to support yourself just by signature campaigns. You could definitely use them for some extra cash though.

I've been to places where people earn less than $200/month.  So given a mature account, technically it is possible.  I'm actually surprised that more people from undeveloped countries don't find their way to this forum.  For developed countries it's not a significant amount to cover your expenses.
If they did then expect this forum would be more crowded and those signature campaigns wont really be the mean purpose of advertising the company but just as a source of income which is really a bad thing to view on. Signature campaigns arent really decide to make a living but this would be just as a side job but as other members said here it would really depend on where do you live because value of bitcoin would really be different when we do speak on state of living on 1st world and 3rd world countries.

Advertising is advertising, regardless of how the revenue is used. There's already garbage content caused by trying to make more posts. What I would assume though, is if there was an influx of users for signature campaigns, the standard for quality would increase or the payments would decrease.

How do you change a profile pic?

Am I restricted because I am new?

If you're talking about the avatar on the left side of the page, they are only available for Full Member and up.  So you'll have to rank up a few times before that option becomes available to you.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: July 20, 2017, 01:38:31 AM
Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.

I doubt the public education system will teach anything about cryptocurrencies, because they don't even teach much about current fiat currencies.  I went to one of the top business schools in Canada for finance, and we didn't learn much about central banks and fiat currency.  We learn about monetary and fiscal policy, but not that the central bank is not a government organization.  Not that money used to be backed by gold and now it's backed by a military.

If they did teach that, it would cause student's to question the system.  So I can't see them educating students about cryptos which move and change in such a small amount of time.  Not to mention the teachers/profs don't know shit themselves.
188  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why most terrorist are Muslim? on: July 20, 2017, 01:29:33 AM
I just noticed and realized that I have never heard of a certain Christian terrorist, all I hear is that when a terrorist is in the news, he/she is a Muslim. I am not saying that Muslims are terrorist, so don't get me wrong.

Sorry my friend , but i think that your opinion isn't right. Terrorism has no religion. Terorists make teracts in the name of their religion. you have never heard about Oslo,Utoya teract by Anders Behring Breivik? Breivik killed at least 84 people, mostly teenagers, in his shooting rampage on the Utoya Island where Norway's ruling Labor Party held a youth camp, and another 7 people in the bomb attack in downtown Oslo.  I am Christian but i think terorism has no religion!

OK.. Let's take the list of the terrorist incidents and the number of people killed by Islam. During the past 20 years, around 5 million people have lost their lives as a result of all forms of religious terrorism. Out of this number, less than 500 people (or 0.01% of the total) lost their lives as a result of non-Muslim terrorism. Now tell me whether Islam and terrorism are related or not.

I'm not going to defend Islam or the terrorist activity that has been done.  However, when the military of another country has an interest in taking your resources, and civilian deaths are part of it...there will be a certain number of children or adults that will team up and seek revenge for their family members.  That isn't irrational to me.  There will be consequences with sending military all over the world with self interest.  Since these places don't have an army to fight with, it ends up being small attacks on civilians.  But don't think for a second that the US military isn't killing civilians.  They are on foreign soil not for defense, but for offense.  If that isn't called terrorism as the initiation of aggression, then the retaliation shouldn't either.
189  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 19, 2017, 07:43:21 PM
This is nuts, this will lead the world to end just like what happened to Sodom and Gomorra. I don't agree and will never be in favor of this crazy thing.

Same sex marriage is a union between people with behavioral disorder. Homosexuality is a kind of behavioral disorder and thus it is not an excuse to marry the same sex just because of their faulty emotions and beliefs. The twisted society have failed to see that the essence of marriage is the creation of family and procreation is one of the main goal of marriage. With people having the same sex procreation is impossible and it is very immoral to do such things.

Yeah how dare gay people follow their heart. That shouldn't be allowed because you said so. You sound like you understand the way it should be. Everyone obey your rules and the world will be fixed. Forced straight marriage for everyone and no childless couples!  Cheesy
190  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 19, 2017, 07:24:52 PM
Try making money with Bitcoin while keeping your job. If it's going well enough and you're making more from Bitcoin than your job, then you can try earning Bitcoin full time. If not, then keep your job. But jobs come and go as well. If it's not your dream job and you're not starving (by your age I assume you live at home with your parents) then you can always get that type of job again in the future.
191  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: July 19, 2017, 04:24:26 PM
Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

There are so many factors that impact overall health. Unless you're drinking excessively, it's likely not doing significant harm. If you're eating relatively clean, having regular physical activity, getting enough sleep and challenging your mind and having fun every now and then,  you should be pretty healthy.
192  Other / Off-topic / Re: Technology and Human life..... on: July 19, 2017, 04:20:32 PM
I would think that technological advancement gives humans more tools to use, especially with the distribution of information. But like any tool, the user can use it in a way to help himself or society, or to harm himself or society.

Take drones for example. I think it's very cool technology. But in the hands of a sociopath, and carrying bombs on it, it becomes destructive even though the technology itself isn't bad at all.
193  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Musk has called the greatest threat to human civilization on: July 19, 2017, 02:27:58 PM
finally something useful coming out of his mouth

Nope. As usual, only garbage is coming out. This guy is trying to instill fear in other people's mind about artificial intelligence. AI is not something which we should worry about. It can do a lot of wonders to the humanity. We need to realize that AI can help us in a big way in many fields, such as space exploration, defense, and medicine.

All of those benefits are definitely possible with AI; there's no doubt about that. But there is a risk in terms of whether it will have its own intent, or whether it will be a slave to humans. That is unknown at this point.
194  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: July 19, 2017, 06:00:52 AM
recreational drugs must be prohibited. there are lots of ways to party and have fun without harming somebody and yourself.

You should pack up your bags and go to North Korea.  Everything is prohibited and everyone is safe....and severely brainwashed.  I think you'd like it there.  Cheesy

Hilarious! haha

On the question at hand: Personally I think, if you're an adult and you choose to get high here and there, in the right circumstances, there's nothing wrong with that. To me its no different than having a few glasses of wine occasionally.

What IS the problem, is those who do it to a point where it starts affecting other aspects of your lie. That's when things get messed up. But its not just drugs, some people have the same problem with alcohol, some also with prescription drugs.. Same thing, they use it as a crutch and avoid living in reality and then it f*cks their whole lives up.

I tried a few drugs in my 20's, and honestly I enjoyed the experiences for what they were, some of the funnest times in my life. It was never a problem for me, I never had the urge to do it regularly, and it never affected my work or study (and I owned a business and was at law school at the time). By the time I got to my 30's, I was out of my young partying days, so stopped, life's priorities change and you move on.

Totally agree with you there.  Even for those that have issues with substance abuse, even though the vast majority is from legal substances, the ones that do have issues with illegal substances like opioids or stimulants, it's in the current environment with prohibition.  People with mental instability shouldn't be on psychoactive drugs, especially when addictive.  Everyone knows this.  But prohibition isn't only for the mentally unstable - so the rest of society has their liberty stripped away.
195  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Good bye delta airlines... on: July 19, 2017, 12:32:12 AM
Surprised she's even flying in coach.  Not a big deal to me, but Delta should have asked instead of telling her.

I've had really good service from KLM/Delta.  I needed to switch a flight last minute and it wasn't possible given the no frills ticket I purchased.  Delta switched my flight and waived the fee completely without me even asking.

Don't you know that USA was placed on earth suddenly by God to save the humanity? they are angels, best of the best, center of facking universe.
They will live for millions of years in other galaxies just wait and see.

lol  Cheesy

I do like California a lot - definitely a special place in terms of technological innovation and entertainment.  But I mean why trust any politician anywhere.  99.9% of them are dishonest and self serving.  Hook up their special interests while tricking the average Joe.  The ones that are benevolent won't get elected in today's environment.
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 18, 2017, 01:49:08 AM
Started using Jaxx...and really like the wallet so far.

It can handle multiple cryptocurrencies and you can exchange one to another within the app (fees are embedded in the exchange rate).
198  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay Marriage and Adoption on: July 14, 2017, 03:58:37 AM
As for me, am not in support of gay marriage. It is illegal in my country and an abomination in the eye's of God and should be condemned in totality. And at the same time am not in support of adoption, either by the gay couple or homosexual people for i believe if everyone become gay or homosexual as they are, would there be children anywhere for them to adopt. So since there have choose to be what they are i believe there is still room for them to repent and come back to Jesus Christ or face the consequences in Hell.

How about if someone is gay their entire life, get married to another gay person, and adopt a child who is straight.  Are they all going to hell?  And what if they all repent their "sin" before dying?  Then they all go to heaven?

How many gay people do you think are in hell right now, as you're reading this?  And how many pedophile priests are in heaven?  Cheesy

And lol @ condemning in totality.  Get on a plane dude.  Go see the world.  Smiley

Lol.  I like the idea of travelling but maybe after I have enough earnings from bitcoins.  Well, we cannot also deny the fact that he was raised in a country which is conservative.  Also in our country the idea of gay marriage is strictly condemned by the church and other people, this gay couple vehemently give their points on their rights.  But I disagree with the idea of gay marriage, they could be a couple, living in the same house, but to be solemnized for me is not right.  But in the issue of adopting kids by the gay couple, I think it was just okay.

Well for the sake of getting to travel and opening your mind, let's hope your Bitcoin account does well lol.

But if your country is homophobic, those cultural beliefs and ideas have manipulated you.  You could have been born anywhere in the world, and there would be a different localized culture and belief system there.  Wouldn't it be better to question these ideas rationally and morally to see if it makes sense?

Imagine if you were born in a Buddhist or Jewish family.  Would you just be victim to a different set of ideas than you have now as a Catholic?  If you believe something just because the people around you do, there is no reasoning with that type of thinking.  Think about if your parents weren't Catholic - would you have found your way to it?
199  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: July 14, 2017, 03:50:33 AM
So as a homophobic and intolerant person towards gay people, of course it is completely fine to keep old traditions.  Being gay or straight isn't a choice, so maybe put yourself in the shoes of a gay person.  What are your options?  Pretend to be straight to appease people that hate you, or have less rights?

Being tolerant towards homosexuality is one thing, and recognizing homosexual marriage as a regular marriage is another. Please don't confuse between the two. Personally, I don't care what the gays do in their privacy. But the problem arises when they want to have homosexual orgies in the public, and gay pride parades in the metro cities.

Where are you seeing gay orgies in public?  I live in Toronto, which is one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world, and I haven't seen any gay orgies in public.  I haven't even seen any straight orgies in public either.  And both are illegal.

We have a pride parade one weekend each year and people don't take offense to this.  In fact lots of straight people go and show their support, and it's a good time.  It's a celebration to be able for people with differences to be accepted into society, because it simply can't happen in many parts of the world.

There's also a strong correlation between the top cities in the world to live in, and top gay friendly cities.

But going back to gay marriage, if you don't care about what they do in their privacy, their marriage will be private.  It's not like you're going to be involved with it in any way.  It basically affects their taxes, which is a completely private matter.

It is not private anymore, when activists around them demand recognition of family status without actually starting a family. Then it is public affair by definition.

Also see this:

Social justice warrior: A pejorative term for an individual who repeatedly and vehemently engages in arguments on social justice on the Internet, often in a shallow or not well-thought-out way, for the purpose of raising their own personal reputation. A social justice warrior, or SJW, does not necessarily strongly believe all that they say, or even care about the groups they are fighting on behalf of. They typically repeat points from whoever is the most popular blogger or commenter of the moment, hoping that they will "get SJ points" and become popular in return. They are very sure to adopt stances that are "correct" in their social circle.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=social%20justice%20warrior

You really think that a private certificate with the city turns a relationship public?  I don't think someone with that certificate will be a public affair vs. not having the certificate.

Are you suggesting that I'm a social justice warrior?  This is the internet bro, and my identity is not being revealed so I'm not getting any points. In fact it's not even a popular opinion since most people that post here are homophobic. Perhaps I could be speaking out of my ass, and not give a shit per your definition.  To be honest I don't think anyone's opinion is going to change here.  But I live in one of the most gay-friendly and multicultural cities in the world, which is one of the top cities to live in.  I have gay friends, who are really good and honestly people.  2 weeks ago I went to pride with all straight friends.  It's just a city that has progressed past this, to the point that it's not much of an issue anymore.  Most parts of the world haven't reached that point and still have pride in their hatred for a stranger.  I am also lucky in that I've got to travel a decent amount, which again increases tolerance and sheds localized culture.

Just look at gay friendly cities and best cities to live in.  Increased civil liberty makes for a better life in general.  Look at the people posting that gay relationships and marriage is an abomination.  Then look at where they live.  Then look at how many people are waiting to immigrate there.

recreational drugs must be prohibited. there are lots of ways to party and have fun without harming somebody and yourself.

Yes, I certainly agree with you.  Actually they were prohibited here in our country and that is why we have war on drugs right now.  It turns out that it was really good as we feel much safer.  Yes, I agree again that there are lots of ways to enjoy the evening when you are partying.  Drinks are enough and good music to have a fun while partying.  Besides when the effect of drug subsides and you have done something unimaginable and you really do not like, you will surely mourn and grieve after realizing what wrong have you done.  So, stay away from drugs.

Fell for the fear mongering?

Which country do you live in to feel that the war on drugs is a success?  Do you base it on your subjective feeling of safety?  You're okay with people drinking alcohol.  A substance that is addictive, can cause aggression, ranked #2 in deaths only behind tobacco (the other legal drug that you likely have no issue with).  If you feel safe around people drinking, you'll feel safe around anyone.

You sound like you're parroting something that was told to you as a kid - "stay away!"

I've been in the presence of people on alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, crack, MDMA/ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms/LSD, methamphetamine and heroin/morphine.  Of all of these "drugs", I've seen the most aggression from alcohol.  Cannabis, MDMA, ecstasy, mushroom or LSD users are on average super nice and friendly people.  And of all this, you're okay with the one that has the most aggression and death.  Brainwashed yet misinformed and inexperienced are we?
