181  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: March 15, 2018, 03:04:15 AM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
when someone make a big dump and prices are falling. usually people take the opportunity when prices fall because it was cheaper and the price will be back to normal. This often happens when I make a trade. you can see the case lately about hackers bitfinex. when the price falls and prices recover slowly.
There are a lot of situation that the price will dump but we should all know if how serious the reason of the dump.
Of course it will back up again if there is more support, in addition the market manipulation is present here so we can expect a hard dump and pump.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 14, 2018, 02:01:18 AM
I like Lakers tonight revenge game
They are playing at their hope court and both team has still a chance to make it to the playoffs, I think it's a hard fight tonight.
With that being said, I am expecting a non usual scoring which is a low scoring game, it's all about the defense tonight.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 14, 2018, 01:42:30 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Any thing might be possible depending the statistics and probabilities, as uses will decide the future of crypto currency and its replacement. As it would not be replaced but other crypto currency may stand along with this king coin.
We should not be confident that bitcoin will remain in the top, I know smart investors are already diversifying their investment.
It's not in the early stage anymore, there are a lot of eyes watching bitcoin and some are also looking to invest on a undervalued coins, so expect
they will rise in the future.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 14, 2018, 01:17:23 AM
Yes because to leave gambling deliberately for me is very heavy, so let it stop by itself. There are times when we are saturated doing the same routine every day, but in gambling it can be left by itself.

How can you leave something like gambling by itself when it will pretty much consume you and your money if you don't don't fo something about it. You have to realize that change should come from you and that you should really want to quit if you have a chance of recovering from addiction
Just quit for awhile, reflect on what you did wrong and when you figure it out it would be easy for you to gamble again
but that time you should be smart and responsible so you will not do the same mistakes again.
When you are addicted, it's not the end, it's just a test, if you can learn then you can enjoy gambling again for sure.

This token is not listed in another exchange, is there any plan from the team to do that?
Price is still good despite the market dump but never seen this gathered big volume like some of the coins that pump.
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: March 11, 2018, 03:15:42 AM
It is good to holding bitcoin a long time if you look big profit because from time to time the value of bitcoin was increasingly in the market, if you see the market price that is the right price to sell atleast 50% or more that was a good profit.
Actually we have our own target but in general rule, we should also sell for a profit, no matter how small it is.
It's about the timing, you can sell with a timing if you have patience because the market is not only moving in one direction, it could dump sometimes.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 11, 2018, 03:04:14 AM
Honestly it's hard to quit gambling, I have been trying many times but I am still here gambling.
I am doing my job through online so it's hard for me to resist not to access online gambling sites, maybe we have to do it slowly,
because we can still gamble if we can control and spend only a small amount of money.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 10, 2018, 04:06:39 AM
Bitcoins can be replaced by any cryptocurrency if people will change their mind and they will not invest in bitcoins further. Altcoins is rising this year, The value of ethereum coin is reaching for over 1k dollar already and it might be a sign that altcoins can really take over bitcoins value.
If that would happen the market will dump but it will not die because in the long run, people will realize that there are better
technology in the entire market and even Ethereum is more superb than bitcoin if you would ask me, and therefore it has a chance to replace bitcoin.
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: March 10, 2018, 03:50:21 AM
What are the best investment opetions for bitcoins to be put into?
Please post here!
We can see that the market has been fluctuating continuously over the past few days, bitcoin prices have fallen sharply and there is no sign of recovery. Therefore, at the present time, we must be very calm in every possible case. Today's bitcoin price will drop to $ 7000 so keep track of the time to start investing.
At this time when the market is fluctuating, it's good to trade if you are good in day trading but as an investor
who aim for long term, it's necessary to wait for the right time to sell and be strong to hold.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: March 10, 2018, 03:38:37 AM
My best investment strategy is I will buy coins with a very low price but before that i will research more information first about the coin which i will buy to make it sure that it has a potential, then hold and wait for a long time till the price is profitable.

That is the usual rule most cryptocurrency traders follow in the market. Whenever a coin's price decreases, it'll be the perfect time to buy some. And, whenever it rises in value, it'll be the perfect time to sell. Of course, it may not always work since cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile, but if done right, then you could stash up plenty of profits for the long term. As such, it's best to devise your own investment strategy especially with Bitcoin, as it's the one that has greater chances for you to profit in the future. Bitcoin would usually give you excellent results when compared to other altcoins. However, there are a few altcoins which are worth the investment (like Ethereum) that will make you plenty of money over the course of time.

Nevertheless, from automated trading bots to day trading with cryptocurrencies, there are a variety of options available for you to devise your own strategy that will multiply your investments for years to come. It's up to you to do the task of analyzing the markets for success. Just my thoughts Grin
Recently, bot trading is also the problem made hack api through Binance exchange in past days.
I am sure the devs of Binance gave up this bugs, just because those cryptocurrency user used scam bot and these bot used their account to trading VIA, IMO.
That is why I don't really trust BOT, you account is prone to being compromised.
I am not a day trader so I would like to do it on a manual basis and nowadays, trading is not good because the market is not bullish.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: March 09, 2018, 04:57:41 AM
There's nothing we can do for those guys who sold their cryptocurrencies during crisis. Everyone don't deserve to hold btc because these newcomers in crypto don't have enough knowledge and experience regarding such difficult times.
When you sell there are people who are willing to buy.
But when you panic I am sure you are just force of your decision and most likely you'll ending your journey in the crypto with a lose.
You need to research first before investing so you will not make a bad decision.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: March 09, 2018, 04:44:50 AM
I know there are numerous huge players who control bitcoin cost and make colossal benefits however would we be able to the bitcointalk individuals additionally frame a cartel and let bitcoin cost never fall?is it conceivable that we control cost as I am certain the vast majority of bitcoin clients visit this discussion
Manipulation has been happening even in the past, but if we are smart, we can make money from the price manipulation
because it will result to a more volatile price like a classic pump and dump game, we have to take advantage and believe that bitcoin will again rise.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: March 09, 2018, 04:18:43 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

If you are smart you need also to be strategic. Being smart can be an asset but being a person who knows how to strategize is smarter. Strategies are needed in order to solve problems.
We can tell that a person is smart if he can show some good results.
Even if we think we are smart but our method is not working then I can say it's still useless, being smart is necessary
but what is necessary is that we have a real achievement.

195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 08, 2018, 06:39:06 AM
I think iit's very difficult.
some of my friends have done everything can to get out completely from gambling.
But in the end they still play gambling at leisure. it is difficult, because gambling has become prt of life for people who never played.
No one says it's easy especially when you are in the situation.
But you have to be positive to have that change in your life, you won't be able to change and quit if you are not a positive
person who thinks that you can do it.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: March 08, 2018, 06:19:29 AM
Here I am still a beginner and have not got bitcoin yet, but if I have a chance to hold bitcoin then I will use for my daily needs and some that I will use for investment
That is a wrong mentality, if you hold bitcoin that means you are investing on it.
It should be separate from your personal daily needs because it should only be the amount that you allocated for investment
and no matter what happen you hold based on your target.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 08, 2018, 06:13:08 AM
What a game for  the King today, carrying his team in final minutes, I'm really impress how he really take the lead, 9 points straight and he really create
for his team to win, adjusting too to defend Jokić who also playing well, the 2nd half runs was full of excitement Denver is too good to compete with but
still stars will shine when the team needed them most.
It was a good game and finally the Cavaliers took their revenge against the Nuggets.
I hope they can use this momentum to even work harder and develop the chemistry so even they lack players, they can still compete with great teams.
198  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: March 08, 2018, 06:07:27 AM
Hindi pala pwedeng magcashout direkta from eth wallet to bank account unlike btc? Ngtry kasi ako now magcashout kilangan pa iconvert sa php wallet bago mo ma cashout so ang mangyayari nito pasok pa rin siya sa cash in limit na 400k monthly? kasi ganun diba pag nagconvert ka to php counted un as cash in.

yes hindi pa pwede yung direct cashout from ETH so convert muna to PHP at yes dagdag din yun sa cash in limit monthly na 400k, parang medyo sablay para sa mga malakas kumita ng ETH bale parang limited din sa 400k monthly limit kahit level3 na or idaan muna sa exchange then to bitcoin tapos direct cashout na lang
Yes, I also tried to cash out my ethereum balance but I can't, pero pwede siya transfer to my MEW address. Please enlighten me with this case.

199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: March 08, 2018, 05:59:34 AM
write a command to Sia. full of shit. They do not want to work. we just need that Sia added on all exchanges.
If this will be added in the new exchanges right now with great volume then maybe we can see the value grow.
I think they are more concentrating on the development than putting it in a high volume exchanges, whatever the team decide
I cannot still sell my sia due to low value.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: March 07, 2018, 12:06:30 PM
I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624

Lending loans is too risky unless you ask for a colllateral and there should be a contract for the mode of payments. If you will be in a loan and invest that loans you should consider the interest with regards to your investment profit. For me it is ok to loan with your profit is more than your loan ineterest rate.
Actually it's hard to require a collateral when you are lending online, some are just basing on the reputation like this this forum.
They are called micro loans for me so it's not really important to them if one or some will not pay as long as in overall they will be profitable.
In this case, they need to provide a higher interest.
