Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Granted that Bitcoin is the oldest, first and underlying coin of the original blockchain technology 1.0 I would believe that it will always have it's place in the crypto space. However, comparing this point in time in crypto to say the early 90's with the .com bubble people didn't know which company would survive and thrive after the burst. Therefore it could be the Microsoft or big winner like that but we still don't know yet, and to try and say otherwise is pure speculation. |

There's a possibility that it would happen but I think it's so far from happening still because bitcoin is still dominating all over the world. There are a lot of cryptocurrencies showing their potential of taking over bitcoin in the future right now like ethereum and many more. All of them are threats for bitcoin But I think nothing bad would happen on bitcoin as long as we are supporting it and staying faithful on it. |

Bitcoin can't be replaced by easily can lose his positions in cryptoworld. Ethereum and other altcoins that better that bitcoin already will not waste an opportunity.

Bitcoins can be replaced by any cryptocurrency if people will change their mind and they will not invest in bitcoins further. Altcoins is rising this year, The value of ethereum coin is reaching for over 1k dollar already and it might be a sign that altcoins can really take over bitcoins value.

If that would happen the market will dump but it will not die because in the long run, people will realize that there are better technology in the entire market and even Ethereum is more superb than bitcoin if you would ask me, and therefore it has a chance to replace bitcoin. |

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency in the blockchain. Other cryptocurrencies need Bitcoin as a basis, so I don't think any cryptocurrency can replace Bitcoin.

I don't think so that the company and management of bitcoin can be replaced by another currency. The bitcoin has good execution from its operations and excellent strategies so they are tough competitor to be beaten.

well personally, i think it will be extremely difficult for any other cryptocurrency to replace bitcoin, as bitcoin has gained so much ground. bitcoin has more potential than all other cryptocurrencies which makes it stand out above all other currencies. for now lets just believe no currency can take over

It is difficult to imagine a situation in which Bitcoin will be replaced by some other cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has a very developed infrastructure. Through it this virtual currency is connected to its users in the real world. Anyway, maybe Ethereum... |

Actually it is impossible to happen since the company of bitcoins has a great success in field of cryptocurrency through this they cannot be easily defeated or beat by any other coins in cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin will always exist in some form and will probably be the most dominate cryptocurrency for a long time, atleast in our lifetime. I can see it lose % dominance compared to ALL cryptocurrency but it should be the number one digital asset in the world I believe.

I think bitcoin had some issues that
It needed an address I just can't see
any reason why I make the bitcoin replaced
by a cryptocurrency not unless a user
Exist and base of bitcoin is really losing
Confidence for bitcoin and exudos in another
Crypto occurred then bitcoin will be there
to stay .most cryptocurrency is a reachable in popularity of bitcoin as it .has now but it would
just co - exist with bitcoin too much like

Future is uncertain. But, at present there are no currencies that can replace bitcoin. The level of popularity, acceptance and momentum bit coin has, can not br replaced by any other coin in near future. |

It is really possible that one-day bitcoin will get replaced by another cryptocurrency but as we are right now bitcoin will be still the first of everything. We don't know what is the future of cryptocurrency yet as there are still many aspects need to consider with bitcoin. As we can do right now is appreciate its value and think what advantages we can do with it. We can only hope for the best in the future. |

There is always this possibility that someone will take the seat of bitcoin as the number one cryptocurrency but no one can replace bitcoin in terms of what it has done to the financial and investment world. Pioneer will always get the credit even if it become obsolete. But the demise of bitcoin depends on the decision of those who have the authority over the changes and implementations of bitcoin

I think time has proved everything, and it gives the answer to this question. The answer is no, Bitcoin will always occupy the dominating position of the cryptocurrency market, because it is higher than other currencies implied technology, higher visibility, safe and reliable.

For me it is possible but it is hard and takes much time to replace bitcoin of other cryptocurrency. Bitcoin have many experiences and can't be easy replaced by other cryptocurrency.

technically i do not believe your speculation bitcoin replace by another cryptocurrency bitcoin is on top among us those altcoins they are have no value without bitcoin if bitcoin replace by another i think the cryptoworld is back to zero for that mind thinking.
