181  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: October 26, 2015, 12:28:07 PM
Another large bot attack today. I probably have some of the best security features available (certainly more than the average Faucet admin), but I'm still being attacked.

Email verification makes little difference, disposable .yandex.ru emails are all the rage at the moment it seems. Banned around 100+ addresses, but not before losing ~30,000 satoshi per address. Not being able to retrieve funds when they are lost like this is a shame. I can see my satoshi sitting in someone's account and it's annoying.

Honeypots help, but aren't perfect.

It seems that someone has found a way to destroy faucets. My are empty and as long as someone does not find the way to secure them I'm not going to refill them.

well, i offered earlier to set one faucet, but OP do not ask about this, but i agree is not enough only putt script on server and go for money.
there are have daily work on faucet

Does this mean that you have a way to stop bots?
no way to stop bots, but can be reduced to minimal. i have 3 different protection type on faucet with faucetbox script, for now i am satisfied.

Is it protection that we discuss in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1211353.0

or you have some own ideas?
i know for this thread, and implemented some things from there and there are some ideas we got complicated .
cloud flare is quite useful

If you have any interesting solution, maybe you could share them in that thread .. Of course if it does not help owners of bots ..

184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign on: October 26, 2015, 12:06:13 PM
I agree with the previous posts, u need to try to reach Hero or Legendary status before you consider making a bit BTC from campaigns. Before that, it s simply not interesting.

The difference between Senior Member and Hero / Legendary Member is very little. There are also sig campaigns that pay pretty well for Full Members - look my signature Wink

The campaign you are in may be interesting for full members that tend to post a lot, but to the ones that don't quite post as often it's much better to
try out fixed campaigns. Anyways, campaigns are now not really paying as much as they did before, and the problem is that many people join and spam useless posts
and thus lower the rate per post for everyone.

These are the laws of the free market. When demand is large (advertising) price increases, when supply is high (number of users) the price falls. Life..
185  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: my Annual Genesis Mining report on: October 25, 2015, 03:38:04 PM
I do not want to stick with just Genesis Mining here. All positive or negative experience is welcome here. Just would like to see real experience, not just some predictions here.

In their thread you can find calculations of people who try to warn new users before pay money into this trap:

186  Bitcoin / Press / Re: :D Video: An interview from BTC news, October 2020 - Demitri Sold his Bitcoin on: October 25, 2015, 03:30:03 PM
Needs proper subject formatting to fit into the news section - date is missing.

Thanks...

That is funny video and in addition "from the future", so I thought it can be without date .. anyway is fixed now! Smiley
187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud mining, can it still pay out? on: October 25, 2015, 03:08:30 PM
if you are trying to invest in cloud mining then you want to lose money rather go and gamble it

You got a point man, rather gamble it on a reputable casino site than investing it on an obvious cloud mining ponzi Wink

Same way - better invest in reputable cloud mining service (HashNest) than gamble in ANY casino..

Anyway never invest more than you can afford to lose!

+1
It's why if it is possible I propose to invest for free so people can see from inside if it is worth...and above all to see if it was worth...

ehh.. i give a try to your "shares" Wink but, you must know that in my opinion this system looks like Ponzi..  Roll Eyes
188  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Do You Think This BTC Lottery Idea Will Be A Success ? on: October 25, 2015, 03:00:08 PM
There have been several Bitcoin lottery projects. Some were better, some were worse, but so far, none of them managed to be popular enough to survive.

Idea is not bad but probably it is too early to make it succeed.

190  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New BTC Faucet upto 1000 satoshi on: October 25, 2015, 02:50:25 PM
if you could be more clearer it would be better as to my understanding, the more we use the faucet, the higher the reward it would be but after visiting the faucet, I don't see such case and all I see are two reward options

Faucet is like all others. Owner want to say that when he gonna have more traffic he will increase rewards.. Wink We will see.. Wink
191  Other / Meta / Re: bitcoin-forums.net ? is it a replica of BCT . on: October 25, 2015, 02:41:45 PM
Wow! It is exactly mirror of Bitcointalk! But how the hell they can be so actual?! Posts made here (Bitcointalk) in live time we can see there.. just after few seconds. For sure it is made to still Bitcointalk accounts!

This is fact for cloud mining as I saw lot of dicsussion here around I would like to show when my contract expired.
How much hash power you bought from Genesis Mining with 0.4291 BTC ? Probably, if you risked a little and tried out little known www.CloudMining.website, you could be sitting on profit by now. A third party cloud mining monitor has reported ROI within ~114 days with www.CloudMining.website.

You may also check the full payment history here: www.cloudmining.website/payments.php

I think you are in the wrong thread. Anyway, your mininum withdrawal on Cloudmining.website is high.
You may fix the 'lost password' function before posting advertising here.

Love
Lisa

Sorry for topping up this picture, but this mining service is scam, nobody get roi there. They pay but dust like PBmining. Im with them from November 2014 (so from first days) and to get ROI from this dust i need around 4 years more..

Info on this "review page" is not real - this page is full of ref links. How can it be objective!?

Thank you for 2000 Registered users, you're amazing! Smiley

When you will do the payments? Second week you dont pay. What the f*ck?

Forget about payment! This faucet made kids or someone deliberately wanted to cheat users. Shortly this  page will disappear and so it would end ..
197  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [TUTORIAL] Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: October 25, 2015, 01:23:53 PM
Hi, just found this awesome thread.

So just to make things clear (since I'm not very technical) - is the information on the OP good enough or do I need to add any of the other scripts you've put in here?

Probably this what you see in this thread is not enough to protect your faucet good enough, but for sure will help a lot.

New features are now tested and soon will be published update.
198  Economy / Services / Re: build a free faucet website on: October 25, 2015, 01:12:47 PM
some time ago i see someone here offer a free service to build faucet site. please tell me if it still available.
or someone can teach me or give a link how to build a fucet site easily.
Thanks

I think it is not enough only how you can build a faucet. You have to learn some codes too. Because there are so many people try to use bots or tricks to earn easy money and all faucet owners have to protect their faucet by coding some extra systems.

Bots are now a very big problem for faucet owners. Fight continues every day! So coding skills are very welcome.

199  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Sr.member forum account +trust on: October 23, 2015, 11:11:08 PM

activity is around 350, potential activity above 400.

What means "potential activity above 400"?

I thought that the activity depends on how many posts we write in specific time?

How you can check/count "potential activity"?

I am using http://yourbtcfaucet.com/ It is great! Please try!

My AVG saying that your faucet is crap.

Hi,
It might be due to some problems with one of the advertising company I had lately.
Try now - it should be OK.

Thanks for the info.
yourbtcfaucet

My mom says that for this faucet you should get a reprimand!   Grin Work on it a bit..
