For the security of our money no doubt to choose bank because it has insurance while in bitcoin there is no security of your investment but the risk you have will cover up by the return of your investment if the value of bitcoin will going to increase in the future.
bitcoin wallet is way more secure in my opinion though banks are still need to be used i order to make payments online or in real life
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 18, 2016, 06:05:56 PM
An unlikely scenario, perhaps the dream of many people.
yeah, the dream of the ones who want to make a lot of money with bitcoins, i hope it will never happen but i would buy bitcoin then i guess
184  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 18, 2016, 06:05:22 PM
Have they released technicals of the hack? Like how they got hacked...

They avoid any questions asking about technicals of the hack by saying there is an ongoing investigation, and they cannot comment until it's completed. They keep pasting this quote all over reddit in reply to any awkward questions.

Quote
we cannot release information about an ongoing investigation.

After the ongoing investigation there will probably be a court case, and they will again say they cannot comment until it's completed.

there is NO  ongoing investigation. it's just another shit from Bitfinex crooks.
well you might be right, we will never know it for sure, i guess we might just hope that it will never happen in the near future
185  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2016, 06:04:29 PM
just give your wife a kiss with pure love, then give 100bitcoin , im sure she will very interesting with bitcoin  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

186  Economy / Speculation / Re: $486 WOT the hell is going on???????? on: August 17, 2016, 12:42:27 PM

Yes. If the price rises too fast like it did in 2013, the price will also drop very fast and have 3 years of price drop.

That is the reason why I do not like big pump and dump. Slow but steady bitcoin price rise is preferred.

In the future, when the bitcoin becomes more mature and price is higher, it is going to be more stable.
well it is just a guess, it might be even more volatile as more people will be pumping and dumping, in my opinion the price is not going to go to lower than 550 prices

Apart from the Bitfinex hack caused price dump, the bitcoin price has been quite stable in the last two months.

I think the current price is quite good to buy. The bitcoin price will rise soon after people forget about the hack.
of course it is low enough to buy right now, after it the price is going to grow only

As long as there is no problem associated with the bitcoin itself, more and more business will use the bitcoin.
thats true, more and more companies get into bitcoins right now and it definitely makes bitcoin an even bigger currency, i hope it will continue like that
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think the price will rise again above $400 on: August 17, 2016, 12:41:49 PM
It is end of July 2016 now. The price has been firmly above $400 for the last three months. I think the bottom is $600 now.
we haven't yet seen where the new bottom is. let us wait till the next correction and then we will see when it stops and what is the new bottom after halving.
the new bottom is 550 dollars, the price cannot go any more lower, to be honest in my opinion as we tested the lowest prices it should go up a lot soon

market will probably just end up being STUCK at 670 for a like a month.

You mean 666 Cool

Cheesy ... that number has great potential to dry out in to extinction those satanist dumpers!  Grin
yeah the price is going to come back once again and we will be stuck on 666, sometimes it is a bit frustrating though it is better than be down to lower prices than 600
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin down to 500? on: August 17, 2016, 12:40:04 PM
Is the bitcoin price crashing? $500 is a huge drop for bitcoin.

Will the bitcoin price go lower than $500?
it is not a huge crash, it is not even a crash, it would be just a drop, crash would be to around 100 dollars as it would be massive then, though it wont go to 500 dont worry
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $ 400 soon? on: August 17, 2016, 12:39:21 PM
i dont think so,i think it will hardly come down to 550$ and after that it will start rising again. so we should not wait for 400$ and try to buy some new bitcoin in 550$ price, because if the price start increasing it will not give chance to any  one to buy it. we can see the market speculation that shows that the price of bitcoin is going to be so high in next few months.
and the price wont come back to such small numbers for sure, in my opinion right now the only way is up to the biggest prices that have ever been reached
191  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 16, 2016, 03:07:24 PM
Firstly I Will Start Earning Bitcoins With Signature Campign From this Forum And Then..
I will Invest My Signature Campign Earnings In Altcoin Trading.......
Or In Other Bitcoin Investment Website To Earn Some Returns.......

We are talking about what will we do if we want money desperately, if you are earning from it then you have to sell that in order to get instant money, so basic thing is to save money.
yeah i would also sell all my bitcoins then, it would be a really hard decision but it is better than being homeless for sure
192  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 16, 2016, 03:06:53 PM
Actually most of the time that I buy it is for the long-term run.
it is the long term investment for me either, in my opinion the price is not going to stop growing in the future so i might become really rich with it
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: August 16, 2016, 03:06:20 PM
I think it is time to buy bitcoins,as the price isat a lower value and is tending to increase, in the coming future it will be of more value.
of course it is the perfect time to buy your bitcoins at the moment, i think that the price should grow really fast so i would make profit
194  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 16, 2016, 03:04:18 PM
No i am not going to do that at all.Quiting full time job for bitcoin is really risky and will be a foolish decison according yo me.Bitcoin is a highly volatile currency first of all so not good for having full time income in bitcoin because we have to manage our daily life just according to it.I use bitcoin as my extra income not full income.

Others can find earning bitcoin better than their current job, so it is okay for them to quit their job. But if you are not still fully trusting bitcoin, no one can force you to quit your job. Just continue doing what you are doing, earning bitcoin part time.

Even if you are earning good amount from bitcoin its still good to continue with full time job, as if you are capable to manage your schedule and to earn both from it then why to go with a single one.
you are right, bitcoin shouldnt be the main source of your income because its price might drop any time thus you would become broke then
195  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Price Passes $750 to Hit 28-Month High on: August 16, 2016, 03:03:38 PM
We will see 3000 dollars per coin next year, all indicators are saying up and only up. A lot of the long awaited features for Bitcoin are getting added in 2017. We will possibly see segwit before 2017 even, maybe during xmas, this will clear the pat for 2017 to be the sidechain year. Expect a massive price increase.
i hope that you are right such big price would be really great for bitcoin, i think that the price might be even bigger and more people would get into it
it would be though there is a decent chance that we will never reach it i hope that this year we will see the 700 price coming back as i bought at about 670 dollars

197  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: August 12, 2016, 02:31:05 PM
If the bitcoin price is double than what you bought them at,there is no harm in selling your coins and make some profit. There is highly unlikely that bitcoin price will become stable and you can always buy when price lowers
thats true, though unfortunately the price does not always grow when you buy your bitcoins so you might be losing your money either
198  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: August 12, 2016, 02:30:26 PM
Iam buy bitcoin after big dump big down price
or after big news and panic sell, accident bitfinex hack bitcoin down
panic sell is right placed right price buy bitcoin

Yes I agree with you that is the best time to buy bitcoin when its price goes down.   We are sure that its price would go up again as bitcoin is the most recognized crypto.  Buy more bitcoins while its price is still low, buy low and sell high principle.
I would prioritize buying bitcoins now than spending my money with my wants like gadget or anything else, I would not miss this opportunity that is already in front of my window, the price is really good now and in a short period of time we can easily make a profit.

Yup we should buy coins at this stage as price is not too high at a moment and everyone is predicting that it will touch $1k in end of the year which can give us some huge profits.

True why is it that there are a lot who are predicting at that price. I see also at $1200 and I think that is way to huge until the end of this year. But buying is really a good idea now. Even just at $700 then I will be happy.

If price reaches to $700 in coming months then I am sure most of the users will sell their coins to make profits but I think we should hold our coins till we touch $1k mark.

In that I will really agree. Some are itchy if their losses. Is it really losses or just a price fluctuation. If they havent even move their coins then it cannot be said that they have lose something. I just hope many will also wait for what you are saying.

Yeah everyone wants to make higher profits and everyone is hoping to see the price of $1k in this year and that is the reason most of the users are holding their coins.
thats true, people greediness is really huge, unfortunately we cannot avoid it and even if it makes the price grow a little bit it also drops fast
199  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 12, 2016, 02:28:37 PM
i think that it will be really possible because may people will get into bitcoins
Highly unlikely. Bitcoin is a tech-driven kind of currency. The mere mention of digital scares some people right away. The number of bitcoin users is still very small and we are already in the year 2016. I don't think six more years of bitcoin's existence is going to be enough for it to make the crossover to mass media appreciation, and eventually usage.

We will see major growth in the users of bitcoin till then and it will be also used and accepted at many places but its hard to imagine that almost everyone will start using it.
thats true, the use of the bitcoins is growing really fast right now and the user count is increasing at a rapid pace, i think it will make bitcoin grow
200  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 12, 2016, 02:12:50 PM
Yes I do. My bitcoins do not stay more than two weeks in my wallet before they get spent somewhere.
of course i actively spend my bitcoins either, in my opinion the bitcoin was invented in order to be used so im using it just as a currency now
