Because they can't.
Most of the ICOs remain unregulated, for the simple reason that they can't be regulated and it's going to be hard time for them to search for a country that is willing to accept them.
More then that, it's going to be even harder to find a bank that will accept them, as most of the banks won't because they will be afraid of money laundering.
Accepting fiat for ICOs means that you are legal, and being legal in the crypto wotld is really hard.
I agree with your exposure this has been a very long discussion. and I do not think it will happen to do crypto transactions with fiat, because of which countries are willing to accept and banks are willing. like what you say. I have seen plenty of ICO before that are accepting fiat, try to read carefully their ways of transactions or how to invest, some offered fiat as amode of payment, been seen a lot of it in twitter too, maybe not your countries fiat but USD is much preferred in many ICO. |

This is really great news for the ETN community. I was even getting tired of heading to Cryptopia every single time I want to buy ETN. Listing on Kucoin would boost the liquidity even more. If the upcoming news and updates is about Samsung, ETN will just go kaboom to the moon! I'd keep holding Everybody is waiting for the biggest pump, although every one who invested in their ico are already on profit, if all these completed we hope to see electroneum at $1 this is a moderate prediction there are still a lot of updates coming our way until the price reaches $10. I doubt this coin will reach 1$ fast, everything is possible ofcourse but I prefer to underestimate my investments and overestimate my bad luck. Electroneum has made an official announcement that ETN will be added to Kucoin, but now the week is over and this did not happen. why make empty promises? I thought announcing exchanges prior to launching or whenever it was not settled yet then its prohibited to announce exchanges listing, I have heard there are ICO who are postponed their listing due to this law, we just need to wait when it will be listed. |

Not really surprised that he went ahead and banned ICO advertising before announcing this. Very strategic, yet kind of shady. So it looks like this year we may get the Telegram ICO and the Facebook ICO? Those are 2 you certainly don't want to miss.
The banning od ads never happens at all, i continuously see ADS of different ICO while browsing at facebook, there are known companies who are having or making signs of going into having an ICO like KODAK and Telegram, we might see more int he list soon. |

i don't look at it that way , the more time you spend the more you learn and the better you will be. but since you said you've gotten emotional and made bad trades , i would reconsider trading at all if i were you. trading is pretty hard and it isn't for everyone. but if you trade better when you spend less time at it more power to you.
Trading requires time to get the amount we wanted or by not missing the amount it can take. If we prefer a day trading then it's impossible to earn if you'll not be doing an effort to study and to look on it at long time, if you just want to hold then spending not too much time is applicable. |

Strong support at 9K levels suggests that it will have a push soon,but I still do not know up to what level. I supposed below 12K is a good point of the next resistance just like how it tested that level a week ago.
We just need to wait, once BTC gets to launched again in other countries, it will be a hit again or if no mure FUDS will about to spread soon btc will be on uptrend again, there just too many government issues that each governments dealing with crypto thinking that can manipulate which they not, at the end we will just let it used by their people, so have patience until then. |

Reviewing ICO projects is becoming a challenge because we have tens of them per week with their crowdsales starting. Some projects are making investors life harder because their websites ar not explaining how real they are and what they are really doing: using hype around cryptocurrency or trying to do the project.
The reasons why ICO teams are not trusted:
1. They have not links to social profiles of their members on facebook or linkedin.
2. There is no dedicated person that answers emails or in social media.
3. Communication is not personalized. You chat or email with a person with no name or a name you can not check is true.
4. You have to wait several days to get the answer from the team.
Basically, the project is all dependent to the development team. They were the ones who actually make things possible, thia only mean that the primary factor why a ptoject fails is the team. If there were no legit people behind the project, that would possibly be a scam. A good project has a well known personalities related to it. Before getting in to it, do check the background information about the team, look at the previous project they have work out. Therr actually good reviews about each project available in the internet, this would help you determine the future of your prospect ICO. That's why somehow the team matters too, but we should focus more on the project perspective, will it be useful and still applicable in the future? will it have a proper roadmap and keep on being updated no matter what, That's why I prefer investing only when the project already succeed or when it have already a developing product. It's more good if the project really seems pleasing with their team itself. |

this is a good idea if we don't want to be panic about the price and we can do another thing to not stay focus in the cryptocurrency. let the market run itself and we can enjoy our time and our profit from the last time trading that we've done. I am waiting the next big things that might be happening in the middle of this year and I hope that everything will go to increase higher for bitcoin and altcoin so we can take a big profit. Take time to relax and watch how the coins behave, think what to buy in this fall of prices we might never see those amount again after this quarter, getting panic will result only to us to misbehave and regret doing that selling later when the price pump. |

Mining on Mobile Phone is real, but it's only waste of time, because mobile phone is not designed for such loads.
I also do not think that mining with mobile phone is a good idea, because we know you need some things to make it really work Some computers even those advanced computers didn't manage to earn good profit in mining so how come cellphones will be applicable. It will be useless since we might earn but can cause defecys in our unit. Mining needs a lot of advanced cards or rigs to really earn. |

Bitcoin is worldwide so just because you and your friends are down on it doesn't mean it won't get exciting somewhere else in the world.For example the run up we had this winter was fueled bigly by South Korea.I think 50k at some point in 2018 is very possible.
Yes, bitcoin is widespread all around. Issues arise quite often and the same gets resolved within certain time period. This time the south Korean being a big market going under regulation became a reason for the downtrend. Once again now the growth has got ignited moving uptrend. It's on the FUD whose making people panic too much, people shoild prefer long term investments so whenever price drops they will not do panic selling. |

Do you follow any particular system or do you take any particular steps to make sure you are on a good bounty campaign? Do you just look at the WP or the total ammount?
I just look at the concept, the composition of the team and how the development of the project. if I feel confident and optimistic with some of these things I will definitely follow and join in the campaign. It is like investing since we are going to spend effort so we should at least know if it's worth it and our job will not be wasted. Joined in campaigns that have a vivid project idea. |

100k is a very high number but then I though 2000 was high, then 5000 was, then 10000 and so on...
I cannot predict the future but we should see some very interesting action this year.

the decline in bitcoin prices for me is something that is very reasonable and for price reduction this year may be due to some countries that ban bitcoin in the country so as to spawn very rapid panic to people who have bitcoin in the country and from the impact it affects to bitcoin price .. but just calm down because after panic is finished then bitcoin price will grow even price can be more expensive than previous price It's normal that in first quarter btc value usually fall, seeing it's price from December, i think it is just fine after a while btc will shock us again with new ATH |

Hey guys, I am wondering what's your opinion on WAVES? Looking at it the past weeks kind of makes me wondering if it is. Basically every Alt somehow got pumped pretty significantly. WAVES on the other hand somehow keeps pretty steady or looses value. Maybe it's just a wrong impression on my side, I would be just interested what's your take in its future  Investing in waves was good idea like one/ two months ago but i still strongly believe that it will pump to the moon in 2018 so investing in it right now will give you some income imo. How can you so be sure about waves can go to the moon this year? I dont have any idea about this. Waves ia competitor of etherium but the price is not nearly to etherium and i dont know why. So waves can be good bet but very long term. Waves was a good investment, I don't even notice it before not until last December, the idea that it is rally possible to pump faster and be competitive with eth and beneficial platform then it can still developed that will gives more pump in that coin. |

Day trading is good option if market is going with expected rates but day trading is not suitable when market price is going unexpectedly so its depend on the market, According to my point day trading is not good because most of the time market condition is going unexpectedly and the market behavior is not looking good for day trading.
I don't do trading much, there is some point in me that when I see the price already increase, I ask or it until it decreases agan and again that's why I'm more of holding and just watching the graph, hoping someday I'll understand it , but for now I prefer long term. |

I say if you have time, hold for next 5-10 years at least.In next 10 years there will be 3 halving(2020,2024,2028) and it will significantly reduce production of mined BTC.Assume that demand will increase over the years and that BTC will be accepted as a means of payment in most countries,so we can pay direct in BTC instead of conversion in fiat. If you are experienced trader and and you can keep track of the market,you can trade and make more BTC in that time.There should be many price pumps and the correction that will follow after that.I do not see anything especially in year 2020,except halving-but if you are McAfee fan, then this year you will likely to become a millionaire  As many were really collecting now for that year 2020 and just planning to hld and make long erm investment, will it be by 2020 the decision can be an adjustment until 2024 up to 2028, we can only tell depending on how the governments and FUD will happen but for now we all know that btc is worth to keep until 2020 or more. |

Contrary to popular belief, there are a lot of countries in the world where their regulations on cryptocurrency usage especially bitcoin-afilliated activites is either light or they are in support to the industry. An example of the first one is Philippines, because type of business in this country is legal provided that you have the requirements before establishing, light regulations are given to bitcoin to ensure it wouldn't be used for criminal purposes. While an example of the latter is Russia whose government supports the cryptocurrency industry and even had setup banks that are specifically for bitcoin use.
Philippines were just starting to adopt it, for now they are planning to include some restrictions or warns some to be aware how risky bitcoin can be, though little by little establishments and organization were planning to use blockchain technology like how Japan and Singapore did. |

The continuing decline where Bitcoin goes to deeper and deeper levels is very clear. If the pattern continues, the next bottom will be on February 20 where it will drop below 4000. Continuing, then the next bounce will only reach up to around 7000, followed by an even deeper drop.....  oh God what happens now?why bitcoin still almost $11,000 while OP said clearly that the price will go below $4,000 today.i didnt notice this one OP are you a prediction expert?coz youve missed now.dont you think this os shameless coz your trivias always drops And the prediction seems tobe tomorrow, people easily make FUD without proper analysis, the drops and dips were over now and if ever it will not drop to that much bitcoin already built it's position that's why no matter how FUD it takes it will survive. |

Right now it's early to say because the price is playing at around 11,000 to 12,000 USD it could possibly be reached if next Sunday I think well hopefully this could be the start of the beginning of rise of bitcoin's price again.
Begining of the rise already started, don't you remember the panic we had 2 weeks ago that BTC will drop below $5k? Since that time price rose considerably - currently we are in the middle of rising wave. The question is how big this new bullish trend could take us. And yes, $14k is certainly an option, however, we will need to wait for it - I expect that next month we will reach that point. We may not see it by Sunday but definitely in March or 2nd quarter of the year, but nothing to panic drops were dine as long are there no FUDs going on everything will be fine. |

Well, as far as I know this dip happens also on the same month last year but still crypto market gains x2 or higher by the end of 2017. If ever that would happen the same way as before then no doubt bitcoin will gain also the $20k or even more by the end of 2018.
So enjoy the dip for now, take the chance to buy when they still in dip, sonce we all new that btc still capable on having ATH since cryptocurrency were just only started adopting bu other countries. |
