381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 31, 2017, 02:34:47 AM
I think so, Bitcoin in the other country are now very popular like in the Australia, China, London, and etc. So it can be the new era sooner or later there is a big possibility to be happen. Smiley
since we are living in technology era, bitcoin adoption get really in demand for the easy payment transactions and indeed a good way for us to be financially stable.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: July 31, 2017, 01:43:39 AM
Hello, As i am looking in crypto market now so i am thinking Ethereum is good for investment now. What is your opinion for this?
I guess it is in the pass year it is the only altcoins in the market that have the most potential to go and increases its price to over come the bitcoin and today the token was dump to 200$ but still and i guess it is a good time to invest in ethereum as its pumping in the coming years .
Eth were treated like bitcoin too, many ICo used it as a platform, Next to btc is ETH in terms of the number of users who trusted it eventually soon pumps can also happen on it.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is ICO ? on: July 31, 2017, 01:40:35 AM
There's something called softcap and hardcap, what's that actually? Are they related to ICO's?
I think it is the minimum fund target and maximum fund target. When soft cap reached the project can still continue but it will be much better if they reached themax for it fully development of the project.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and altcoins after segwit on: July 31, 2017, 01:38:01 AM
What will happen after the segwit in btc and altcoins in any trading sites? What will be its possible effect to all traders?
Aa an obvious answer we dont really knwo how it will go na affect the market value of the tokens but i giess it will not gonna affect the entire altcoins but just a little bit of interferance what it will gonna affect much is the market value surely of bitxoin jn the market for sure.
I just hope it will be back to normal or can recover fast on their values, this split just makes user panic and makes the btc value falls, t will be tomorrow we can see what will really happen
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 31, 2017, 01:32:09 AM
I think in short term every thing is possible as we experienced high increase in prices of most of major altcoins such as Ethereum. But in long term everything depends on what will happen to Bitcoin.
In my opinion in future we will have only one acceptable cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin can solve its problems like high transaction fees that you mentioned, It will be that cryptocurrency. If not we should wait for another cryptocurrecncy that will replace Bitcoin.
We should also consider another important issue which is governments decisions. In future after accepting bitcoins by entire world, Governments would like to have more control on the system. We should wait for their decision whether they want bitcoin to be that major cryptocurrency or not.

I think that too, if bitcoins can do it so do altcoins. But I'm not talking about all altcoins, maybe some of them, those who have high potential and those who have a lots of holders. They won't let their coin to drop and do bankruptcy because they have a lots of holders, and they will complain if that drop in just a blink of an eye. Me myself I hold some altcoins in my wallet lile ethereum and waves, and I would like to sell it yet because I trust them that their value will also rise just like the trust I'm giving into bitcoins.

Few altcoins can make it, more will only be just for ashort span of time, it will only depend on the alt used ,it functionality and on what ICO they came from some alts were really useful but they are too many to have all.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: July 31, 2017, 01:29:33 AM
Well, its a long run for bitcoin to become a global currency.US dollars has been enjoying the position as global reserve currency since last seventy years. It has gained its importance since petrol rich countries started to sell crude oil only for dollars. We could buy any thing with dollars all over the world. But bitcoin has just crossed its initial stage of eight years.Legalization of bitcoin has just started now in some countries. So it would take more time for bitcoin to become a global currency.
Your right, in terms of global used bitcoin can be used anywhere, but some countries might not have knowledge on it yet, and it will be hard to replace dollar since it have physical item and value. But in usage bitcpin have many to offer.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: July 31, 2017, 01:24:00 AM
It is extremely possible for BTC to lose its value. It is sad but true. We need to do everything in our power to make sure this continues. Once demand and security goes down bitcoin has lost its meaning. Satoshi is a genius who knew that this system would depend upon cooperatiom and both instability and stability.
Satoshi is indeed one great man , he invented something beneficial to everyone that can't control by only one. We have our own access and freedom on using it without government rules and any authorities. Btc will never lose its value.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 31, 2017, 01:19:18 AM
We dont know what will happen tomorrow if bitcoin price decrease or increase but I hope the effect of segwit is good. If you are longterm holder you can hold your bitcoin until few years and for sure if you do that you can earn a lot of profit . But if you want sell the decision is yours but dont sell hold some bitcoin to make sure.
It will be tomorrow, we can see what speculations can really happen, let's just hope that btc can recover fast. I will just hold on it and continue as if nothing will happen. Hopefully nothing terrible.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: July 31, 2017, 01:13:42 AM
Imagine a Billionaire would invest millions in an altcoin the price would explode.

Imagine the blockchain technology being used in data and other stuff not just in cryptocurrency. This potential is worth billion dollars and billionaires are aware of that. They're just mouth zipped now because they are waiting for something big and it is coming. The change that blockchain technology can bring is coming.

Although bitcoin is still a controversy because of its anonymous sensitivity, bitcoin has a not entirely negative market share, I read that the rotschild family has also invested in bitcoin and I am sure the American government parliament also does the same. This will be very influential on price movements this year and we have to monitor regularly until the end of the year.
It was maybe used before negatively but still bitcoin have a large impacts now, impacts that are helpful for individuals and even on organizations. Billionaires I think already knew it and do invest on ICO . Maybe they are the reason on the success of the big target amounts in ICO before.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: July 30, 2017, 07:18:23 AM
i dont think bitcoin will lose its value, if so then it'll take years before that happens but what im sure is that it will temporarily drop in price especially when august 1 is just around the corner. Bitcoin is unstable and its only natural for that to happen. So i prepared myself for the worse , i converted all my bitcoins into my country's currency. Its too risky to wait for august 1 because there arent any signs if it will decrease or increase in price.
yes i agree on that .i think if its value is lost maybe it is loos already by the past 8 years but until now it has a big value and   it is continue increasing .that was the one of the point.that i dont believe that bitcoin loos its value.
I think it will never happen, not even on August 1. Bitcoin already got supporters and since it's features and jobs were really helpful to is. It will never lose its value ,it will keep moving high.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: July 30, 2017, 07:15:15 AM
Sure, those man never have enough. They think they always deserve more than the others. Oh, and it's not a secret they invest in bitcoin because it feeds their ego.
If millionaires are aware about bitcoin then they should go for investment then by this step more people will come to know about bitcoin because as we are watching bitcoin market is going upward and there is no issue with bitcoin by something so we are watching very bright future of bitcoin so millionaire should need to invest and should intro of bitcoin to other millionaire who are unaware.
Those millionaires made ICOs successful thats why there are more businessmens that are engaging in cryptos since they knew that it will be much successful it they made it through this.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: How to TAX Bitcoin. An easy way ! on: July 30, 2017, 07:13:07 AM
But that your government recognizes bitcoin as a currency? I doubt it. Your income in bitcoins according to the law is not revenue. If you buy goods with bitcoin it does not fall under the tax base. If you exchange them for your currency, then taxes will have to pay.

Yeah that explains everything in one shot. Before you could think of paying tax on bitcoin you need to know what is the legal status of bitcoin in your country.

Filing of bitcoin may not needed if it is considered as commodity or asset in your country. It has to fiat currency and to be transacted through your bank by means of real banking system. As long as it is bitcoin form it's not taxable.
I don't want my bitcoin to get taxed, maybe they can put taxed when there's a physical stores accepts bitcoin, through adding fess but not literally on just by obtaining it they will add tax, thats too rush.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: July 30, 2017, 07:11:12 AM
I think the experience  is not necessarily, only if you have luck you can win the prize. The gambling begin to make demos happy, and some people don't understand that, they lose money to try be a rich.
If you think the experience is not important it means you are wrong. Because now if you have never played poker at all you will not be able to play and will lose. The point of the experience is in that respect.
Have a point,it is also needed on knowing when to stoo or continue the playing, if we have experienced the trends of our rounds we must know the nexr time that we need to stop on it by that time.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: July 30, 2017, 07:08:34 AM
There are ICOs that are worth investing. The crucial point is the team and that is the place where one should be looking at, if the dev teams have a good track record.
The developers are critical when it comes to the success of a coin but at the same time the developers are not important if the project is not going to work at the end, the code does not matter if the idea and the coin itself is not going to work because it does not solve anything or because it does not have a market that can grow, so it is important to read the whitepaper and see if the coin has a future, then you can focus in the execution.
It may be risky but it's worth it. If we didn't give it a try then how can we be successful, ICOs now maybe too many to know which is real or an scam but we all need to research it and know it's capabilities before trusting it.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 26, 2017, 02:10:45 PM
I do limit myself, I promise never to take money out of my pocket to deposit in a gambling site. Been doing it for a year now, only playing from collected funds from faucet sites and it never fails me. Was able to withdraw more than I should have from faucet sites.

That's good news aince you're able to gain qithput riakingtoo much, I have tried that before , coins from campaigns but still I deposited some after lose, until little by little I'd learn trading and didn't put too much in gamling just when I feel it just to play dice.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Waves or Others for ICO? on: July 25, 2017, 12:34:19 PM
I have seen lots of ICO's which are based on either Ethereum or Waves but there are some which are on other platforms too, like Dimcoin. Which is on NEM platform. ETH hacking is a big problem nowadays and waves tokens are getting weaker day by day. Invested some in Dimcoins and hopefully, it will be a successful venture.
There are a lot of coins or tokens now due to number of ICOs created every month, maybe when we hold them for long like that dimcoin,it may be able to have grow in price. Like stratis, matchpool before who came from ICO .
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we recover Ether sent to a wrong address? on: July 25, 2017, 12:30:29 PM
As other people said you have lost your eth, and someone get it (lucky guy), i dont know how is possible to find out owner of an eth address... there is no better advice other than , to watch and double check address you are sending to next time.
cheers
be careful next time. It may be a lesson learned to you now, I have made the same mistake before and one on an ICO i joined wherein there's no chance for it too edit the address first given. So whenever I'm sending or pasting my address ,I doubled check it.
398  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: July 25, 2017, 11:50:57 AM
What I know is that some people are worth billions nowadays because of bitcoins. And also heard Cuban was talking about bitcoin like he have missed an opportunity of a lifetime. So there must be billionaires who are in
Lol yeah even people who have millions of dollars today because they get rich and benefit from bitcoin, many of the users have become rich from bitcoin? It is the proof that they are trading and getting rich or buying bitcoin when the price is below $ 100 and selling it now, and they are already millionaires now and certainly still investing in bitcoin
Bitcoin is a good way for investing, if I were that rich ,I will definitely invest since I didn't want to lose all my money if I will not continue on aiming. Maybe I will continue to invest and will minimize trading and othet works to enjoy more life.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin split on 1th august or no? on: July 25, 2017, 08:05:42 AM
No it will not. BIP 91 which is what's being signalled now and might well be locked in by the end of the day ensures that.
There will be a hard fork but that creates a new coin, not a chain split.

I guess there can be a new coin and is that the one they called as Bitcoin Cash? Now, I realized that having a new coin come out from Bitcoin does not mean that there would be a split. Oh well, this whole thing is becoming so muddled as we are nearing the August 1 deadline.

As for me, I would just watch and relax as the battle is still ongoing. No question that BIP/91 has already won the scaling war but there are still some miners who have something else in mind...maybe this can be the group that preferred to have a new coin minted.

After August 1, the whole Bitcoin community will look forward to the next battle taking place in November and we would have a slim three months period to finalize things up.
Let's just bope that it will really be for the better,im hoping that it will not result any commotion since I have read that the August 1 split is postponed and if ever continued hope its for the best for all of us.
400  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 25, 2017, 05:25:57 AM
you cannot control bitcoin market and you cannot control everyone else mind. will they pump or will they dump? that is why you cannot control bitcoin volatility. it is very different in fiat where government will just release federal reserves if fiat is getting too weak.
Since were in technology era now, it is really on cryptocurrencies and its volatility will be hard to control.it is decentralized and will only depend on its market besides pump and dumo is always part of it.
