181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: June 06, 2016, 06:12:03 PM
The Ethereum price bubble has already popped. At the price of $13, I think there is no bubble in the price.

Already popped? Do you know what happens when bubbles pop?
There should be a rapid decrease in price. That hasn't happened with ETH.

When do you think the Ethereum price bubble will be popped? Or is there any bubble in the Ethereum price?

There is no bubble in the Ethereum price.  If there is one, the price should already be in the $1 range.

The cost of mining is about $5 for me. So for me, if the price drops below $5, there is a bubble burst.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: $548.53 on GDAX on: June 06, 2016, 06:09:19 PM
Hahahahahahaha...where are all the naysayers now ?

Glad I bought more 4 days ago at $454 and some on sat at $504

Seeing the price that has changed pretty good for the past few weeks means that bitcoin has a good future and i believe that the price will be much higher before the halving even though the halving is pretty near. @RoseMann I don't think the price is being manipulated, i believe that it is a normal increase.

I think the price will be around $600 before or around the halving. It will not rise too fast as the usage is still low.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar on: June 06, 2016, 06:07:59 PM
Ethereum IPO "Project" will soon go back to sub 1 dollar price, because there's not enough fools to maintain the price.
Whales have to dump before buywalls are being deleted causing a permanent downtrend similar to other failed altcoins.

This means ETH is dead.
Thats just not possible. Even in the worst scenario it will fall only to 5-7$ then Rise above 15$

I agree with this. The cost of mining for most home miners is about $5 to 8. So that could be the bottom price.

The cost of mining is rising fast. That is main because of the mining difficulty rise 100% every two months.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: $548.53 on GDAX on: June 05, 2016, 02:51:53 PM
558$ on preev.com .
I just want to know , I'm the only one who thinks this is pure manipulation and have nothing to do with the halving ?

the football cannot be held under water any longer. This is not the manipulation what is happening right now --- THIS IS THE RESULT OF THE MANIPULATION HAVING ENDED.

As expected , It's 530$~ once again . If this is not manipulation by exchange (china probably) then I don't know what is it .

The price of the bitcoin is $570 now. Do you think it is mamipulated by the exchanges again? I think it is just the market force.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going back to $400 on: June 05, 2016, 02:50:21 PM
Well guys, i have a bet running that the prics of BTC will be at $700 at halving block +1, so let's wait and see  Grin

I think the price will be around $600 around the halving time. But $700 is also a possible price during the time.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: June 05, 2016, 02:49:06 PM
We are all making the price, its a combination from sellers and buyers that makes the market price, its like any market price. The bitcoin is unstable if there will be a big amount sold to another one the price will sure get higher.

That is right. Although I do not sell the bitcoin directly, when I use the bitcoin, it is sold by the retailers.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market ended. Now going to $500 on: June 05, 2016, 02:47:31 PM
The bear market ended in October last year when the bitcoin price rose more than 20% if 20% is the indication.

The bitcoin also rise quite fast now. I think it is rising too fast. If it rises 5% a months, that could be good.
188  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG PUMP STARTED .. $400 SOON on: June 05, 2016, 02:46:19 PM
Bit pump has not started. But I believe the price will rise slowly to $500 around the halving time.

The big pump has started. The price is $515 in a few exchanges. That is more than 10% higher than a week ago.

still not big pump

small pump maybe, but it's still small

Small pump is good for the long term stable price. The big pump in 2013 caused three years of bear market.

The big pump in the November of 2013 did very badly for the reputation of the bitcoin. Many people sold out.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Litecoin in 20 years on: June 05, 2016, 02:44:23 PM
The lite coin wil go away for sure but the bitcoin will stay in the future. Only because he is growing that big you can now pay allot of things what you want. Don't think to invest in litecoins now becasue that would be stupid.
perhaps in the future may be equivalent to bitcoin bitcoin, bitcoin well if prices continue to decline, and litecoin prices continue to rise, it really allows

The litecoin market cap will not be larger than that of the bitcoin. It is just a clone of the bitcoin.

Litecoin had a chance to be independent coin a few years ago. There was a discussion to change it to anonymous coin.

Now the real FOMO will kick in. Fundamentals haven't gone anywhere. Only Bitcoin is mature enough to take over during this massive financial crisis that the world is about to see this year.

The bitcoin price doubled for the last 12 months. I think its price will also double in the next 12 months.
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explain WHY bitcoin will be worth 1-3000 USD on: June 05, 2016, 02:41:51 PM
People who say that Bitcoin can reach $1 million per coin at some poin in the future are not being realistic. They keep fooling themselfs. I think anything between $1000-$5000 is surely possible. Especially when Bitcoin is getting used as an investment tool by institutional investors. These guys have the money to move Bitcoin beyond what we think is possible. Without them we'll probably keep sitting below $5000 for ever. We only need Bitcoin to gain more popularity among average joe people as being a currency and an investment tool. The rest will go automatically.

Bitcoin is controlled by a Chinese cabal. They have Bitcoin stitched right up in terms of mining capacity and in terms of control of Bitcoin 'wealth', Satoshi's coin stash notwitstanding.

If Western institutions pile into Bitcoin, then they are piling into Chinaman's business and enriching Chinaman. If Western Institutions are eager to make use of 'blockchain' technology, then there are plenty other alternatives that they could turn to other than hyper expensive, bloated, and lets face it, very slow Bitcoin.

Bitcoin goes up, when the Chinese whales decide to pump it. Bitcoin goes down, when they decide to dump it.

Bitcoin's only advantage over existing means of electronic payment, is in it's ability to avoid government capital controls.

If Bitcoin is going to hit new ATHs, it aint gonna be institutional investors coming into the frame, it is going to be an increase in demand due ton Capital Flight (probably from China), and the Chinese Bitcoin Cowboys ramping Bitcoin into the stratosphere to ensure that the Capital Flightees pay top dollar for their Bitcoin. Thus Joe Bitcoiner hopes to get rich on the back of economic chaos and mass suffering in the most populated nation on the face of the Earth.

And indeed, one should never underestimate the avalanche effect of mass public greed, which is why the old adage of the majority always losing holds true. The majority who invest money in a vacuos asset like Bitcoin are certain to lose and those who win or hope to win are exploiting the stupidty of other humans, whilst neither creating nor offering anything of value in exchange for their profit. The very definition of a 'rat race'.

you're forgetting that bitcoin is starting to get widely used all over the world, and those investors are sure as hell not going to want to miss the boat and let "chinamen" have all the bitcoins.

I think the bitcoin usage is not widely at the moment. But the adoption is increasing all the time.

The price of bitcoin is an indication of its usage. the more the usage, or the adoption, the higher the price.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: June 05, 2016, 02:40:43 PM
I believe the bitcoin price will rise from the current 580 level to $600 in the next few weeks. Then it will rise to $1000.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar on: June 04, 2016, 02:50:47 PM
The charts of BTC, LTC, ETH are basically the charts of any other shit coin, inflationary gravity eventually kicks in, but they have extra long market cycles. (like 2-3years)

I have different opinion. The bitcoin chart is quite good. The price is rising after 6 months of consolidation.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth bubble is about to pop on: June 04, 2016, 02:48:33 PM
Lol a thread of bitterness.

That could be true. I think if you believe there are more application of Etheruem in the future, it is better to buy some now.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: June 03, 2016, 07:32:28 AM
On a stock Nano is there a difference in the bios if I flip the switch? Or are they both the same? I want to flash left position with stock bios from right, then flash right with modded bios and try that way. If they are different though, can someone upload the two stock roms? Still having problems that the guy above was having, if I go over 950Mhz core it gets laggy and dies. Then if I want to start again I have to DDU and reinstall 16.1 drivers. Im powering down and unplugging electricity too  Huh

The main and backup bios is the same.

You just need a add some voltage to the Core. I have similar issues.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH touching cloth of $14 tonight on: June 03, 2016, 07:27:12 AM
Tonight it's pulled back slightly.

2-5% price fluctuation is very normal for digital currency trading. I think the Etheruem price is very stable recently.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar on: June 03, 2016, 07:26:03 AM

This means ETH is dead.

It depends on how useful the smart contracts are - if they show potential then more investors will come in, if not then you may be right.

The Ethereum is unique due to the built in smart contract platform. If nobody uses it, the value will be zero.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar on: June 02, 2016, 07:42:05 AM
I think we'll see one more last spike and a very heavy dump on that one. Bearmarket after that.

A bear market is impossible with ethereum. It's generating too much news. This dao drama is only likely to generate a lot of interest in eth

That's a pretty flimsy case for never having a bear market. Lots of things generate news. News is rather worthless, buyers are what matter. Bitcoin generates far more news, but that didn't keep it from crumbling to from $200 from $1200. Only the hype about the halving has managed to bring it back to 40% of it's high point.

Yah, I think only news is not enough to drive the price higher. We need good development of the platform and many usages.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH touching cloth of $14 tonight on: June 02, 2016, 07:40:47 AM
If you have braind BUY only short term, ethereum is 70M premined scam coin, worst then Ripple, the plain is to have centralization which ethereum support, long live coinbase with their FBI frineds!

If you are insane invest long and eat Vitalic 70M dump as he lose with the war with free and decentralized BTC!

I think there are more Ethereum believers now, even if you tell them all this they will not listen to you.

That could be due to the continuous development of the Ethereum platform, people see the good results.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How big a rig is too big? on: June 02, 2016, 07:39:43 AM
I've never found any affordable motherboard with more than 6 GPU PCI-E, so since 6 GPUs would be my answer.

The MSI Z77A GD 55 or GD 65 have 7 PCIE slots and you can use all the slots. I used to own GD55. I bought it now $120, sold it second hand $150.

These two boards are very robust. They both have onboard power switch and reset switch, so very convenient.
