the avalon 6 and antminer s7 will still be profitable for some that have cheap enough power. Or those that just dont care.
and as of right now there is no confirmed new gear just speculation that some will be produced and sold to the public. so the 1/2ing may get here and no new gear is ready to be released in which case the avalon/antminer is all we will have to work with at the time being.

New block by 88miner.sp2079 ! Congrats ! It's a bright new day, I'm going to pick up an S5 and an S3+. Not a big deal for the big miners, but slowly building up my setup with cheap 2nd hand stuff Instead of buying those hit up the new avalon group buy. Get more power and support the company doing the promo. Plus avalons seem to just have block after block fall to their will on kanos pool.

I have the ac set to have the house at 67,
Holy cow, you keep your house like a refrigerator! My AC is set to 78*, it would run 24/7 for almost the entire year at your temp! Hell, my heater comes on at less than 73*... not sure which would keep the miners cooler blowing air at them or removing the heat they output.
Priority 1 should be to remove the hot air, cool air supply should be #2. i dont like being hot. You can only take off so many clothes. you can always put on more. It pretty much stays 68-70 in my house year round. (live in ohio). the heat is only for pretty much on december/january/feburary with AC for the rest of year. Ya i figured heat removal was key 1 might play with barrel fan on the hot side. and move the orange to the cold side and unhook the "exhaust" pipe to the outside.

i think they will accept because growing of this payment method.now everyone started to loving btc.so by this demand they will must add btc payment method.
ebay until now have not accepted bitcoin in the payment list. there has been no news about it. actually if we all bitcoin users request to the ebay to add bitcoin. I'm sure they would be willing to add a payment method with bitcoin the problem with bitcoin is that lack of reversibility. For the honest buyer and honest seller this isnt an issue. but those scammers that relay on it dont want it and they tend to be the ones that scream the loadest unfortunately. Plus using bitcoin it is way to easy to cut ebay/paypal out of the equation and if you do that how are they going to steal their 6% fees from you.

Indeed, this is this BEST POOL EVER!! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) agreed. hard to beat a pool that has a good pool owner that is still active in the community and has good members that actually help each other instead of the typical forum flames. Plus the coding that has been done for this pool. Hard to beat a pool that the owners wrote the code for a majority of all the miners being used today.

the orange blower, outputs into 3 ways? can you take a closer pix of the blower and how it splits into 3? I have a similar idea.... but your looks more "cost effective" ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) sure will take a pic tonight when i get home. till then. here is the piece i bought. http://www.amazon.com/Impact-Carpet-Dryer-Ducting-Adapter/dp/B00IK3QHX8?ie=UTF8&keywords=Carpet%20Dryer%20Ducting%20Adapter&qid=1458829666&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1It claims to fit only the cobra but it fits perfect on mine. the knobs on either side are the spring loaded rods with hooks on the end. so you can attach it to the grill of the blower. The middle hole is attached to the dryer duct work. the right side (closest to camera) is open and blows towards a door that separates finished from unfinished side in the basement. the last hole is capped forcing the air into the other holes.

It is slowly getting closer to me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I made the customs clearance and it is now successfully passed through the customs. Item events Item has been registered. 22.03.2016 12:49 TULLIPOSTI / Vantaa 01530 01534 This event was about an 1.5h ago, time here is now 14:20. Good with luck yours and biffa's will arrive today. Customs and VAT paid on mine tonight, had to wait to get a letter in the post from ye ole antiquated poste office over here, then I could pay it online. Won't get it till end of next week now, as its public holidays here till Tuesday. Not your fault though Phil, so don't hold up the next group buy on my behalf, you're all good to go imho. yeah I figured there was a delay. kilo17 sent me a pm he is going to get price for the next group buy and give it to me late tonight. So when he does I will open the next one in the morning and then close it out on Friday. Its a plan. I am hoping to do it that way. i assume you mean next friday. since tomorrow is friday.. lol

I noticed this pool yesterday through a youtube video and I want my hash to stay in the western world. My farm is on Iceland, so what is the latency times to Iceland ? I need a pool with minimum latency and did try out Bitclub pool that also runs CK, but the are struggling with ddos and I'm looking for a reliable pool to point 240TH. Is Kano worth a trial?
Yes Kano is worth a trial. And Yes its worth staying on. Try the de node like kano mentioned. you could also have the farm ping the primary node to compare send/receive times if your curious. What kind of machines you got making up the 240th?

O'man that is great stuff. I can only dream of a blower like that.
got it for really really cheap off flea bay. Thanks for sharing interesting setup. Does it not get expensive to use AC to cool down you gear? I went to just fan's pushing lots of CFM's in my mining area AC was just expensive when before I set up my miner area for me to use to cool gear.
I have the ac set to have the house at 67, the tstat is on the first floor so the house stays pretty normalized. All I did was cut a 6 inch hole in one of the pipes that leads to a vent that is closed year round anyway as it blows right by a set of bay windows on the first floor. so the air is simply diverted down in front of the miners instead of just hitting a closed vent. that 24inch barrel fan is rated at 7700cfm. the problem is with the equipment being in the basement on my unfinished side (as that is the wall that shares the breaker box) there isn't a lot of "fresh" air to blow at the miners so even with the fans I needed a way to introduce air that wasn't all ready heated by the miners. I would like to get another 5 more miners but at this point idk if I can remove all the heat fast enough. might play with bundling the output pipes together and attaching a exhaust fan to them to blow the heat either into the finished side of the basement or outside some how. also been thinking of putting the barrel fan that is blowing at the miners putting that on the hot side to move the air away from the miners and using the orange fan to blow heat outside. but then I don't have a fan to blow air at the miners. not sure which would keep the miners cooler blowing air at them or removing the heat they output.

Updated pic: 5 s7, 2 s5. all plugged into 5 20amp sockets. There is a 24inch drum fan against the back wall blowing right at the miners. The 6inch duct brings in cold air from the AC. The orange blower is attached to a 4in dryer hose that pumps some of the heat outside and some into the finished side of the basement where the air return is. it aint pretty but it works. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FYM0OMjV.jpg%3F2&t=663&c=sbkvgd4x99RL8g)

My new Avalon 6 started acting up since yesterday. Hashrate goes down and it starts up again, looks like it's cycling from full hash to no hash and repeats. At the pool, my hash rate looks like regular waves, instead of a straight line. How do you troubleshoot it? Currently, I'm running it at frequency 400, corsair rm1000 psu.
Is 1000w enough? Perhaps the psu is causing the wave. Have you tried a different psu like 1200 or 1300watt?

Figured it was worth asking as i have a few s5s laying around and have seen a few older stock going for insanely low prices cus they are only 1/2 hashing or somehow damaged on the boards. wanted to snatch up a few before you released your hardware and they were snapped up by everyone here.
wouldnt mind grabbing a c1 to play with. wonder if the old water cooler could keep up with the heat from new chips.

dude. you need to either give up and quit bumping the thread and let it die or come to reality that these will never sell for what you are asking and lower the price.
a brand new one that would arrive in 3 days from china is $602 with warranty.
a used 162 chip version can be bought for roughly 600-700. i know cus i just got one last week. you asking for 1000 for a batch 8 is outrageous. if you want to scam a sucker to paying higher price go sell them on amazon or ebay. no ones wants the overprice items here.

its funny to watch the cause and effect of finding blocks.
yesterday many blocks, lots of activity on the thread many people happy. today only a couple blocks so far, and thread all but dead.

I am looking for another pool as well. People suggested Kano.is. But I don't see much different.
there is much different. give it a try and you will see.

@sidehack : with the reality of this getting closer would it be beneficial to start acquiring old S1 chassis or would the future miner be sold as a whole unit?
would it fit on an s5 chassis? i still have some of them laying around.
