Hehe, well, I ordered the cube from the same email address like a week ago, and I got it in my mailbox yesterday. Never thought about getting scammed tbh.
I just couldnt help myself, the gear addiction is real!
If this turns out to be a scam, it would be my first during my 4 years of mining cryptos. I guess I've been lucky in that regard.. so far! :p

I just got a bounceback on my email to baikal@baikalminer.com. This is the same address I used to communicate with them before. Not sure what this means but I can think of more bad reasons than good ones. The response from the remote server was:
550 5.1.1 <baikal@baikalminer.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown
well i sent the inquiry letter is all like skype person said...would be epic if skype and email were hacked I guess no one has sent any btc right? could also be they are getting slammed...the baikal site proper is slow... only other thing is all my orders are gone..including the finished order...last time that happened they added to my page from shipping to finished fun times .... stuff to do I guess (like watching asic car wreck)  I've sent BTC for 1 unit, overpaid 400USD too!  |

The fact that US miners don't pay import tax/VAT on their miners is the real scandal, IMHO!

I'm using the Asus Z270-P https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-Z270-P/Works well. All I needed to do was update BIOS to get the "above 4g encoding" option, and enabled it! PCIe gen is set at auto. Running 6 GPUs without problems with smOS / simplemining.net. Happy mining  |

Could you help me out getting dual mining to work?
I'm trying to dual mine eth and dcr, but all my dcr shares are getting rejected!
I'm using smOS with this connection string:
-epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -dpool stratum+tcp://decred.eu.nicehash.com:3354 -dwal 15iUPBM9qt6ra7wRCeeRuuDC5CeRpM9Y6M -dcri 15 -dcoin decred
Am I missing something?
Is that claymore miner? If so, -dcoin dcr not decred. Yes it is! I just modified phils string from the first post. Will try! |

Aha, thanks for info! Would we need to reinstall the OS or it there an automated update function? I could probably ssh into the box and make the changes to the script if necessary? The reason I ask is because the rigs are hosted in a very remote location. Just driving here + ferry is almost the same price as a new GPU  Good night! Ofcourse there is auto update, i will try to do this tomorrow. Anyway if you want you can use temporary fix for RX500 rigs: nano /root/utils/oc_dpm2.sh #change memoryState value from 1 to 2 to look like this: memoryState="2" press ctrl+x and confirm with y Reload rig. I will fix this script to set always highest dpm Autoupdate will replace also your changes so dont worry Awesome thanks! What do you mean can you change the pool it points at? You can point it at whatever pool you want. He's bought into the "Bitmain is an evil company/asicboost/antminers will be obsolete/trying to block segwit"-PROPAGANDA! lol |

Hmm, I'm probably having some other issues then, my rigs are still offline in the dashboard! xD They have been mining non-stop at dwarfpool tho, so no issues in that regard. It's probably related to high latency/ms, I had 1500-2000ms earlier when the problems started.. I'm currently on a really unstable connection. Network = The WiFi from the guy downstairs -> Repeater -> WiFi router -> TP-cable to the rigs.. I'm going to try to cut the power to the rigs and restart them. It would be great if you could answer me on the post regarding overclocking the RX 580 further up! <3 I need to implement small fix for overclocking script becasue it sets memory dpm static to 1 while RX570 has 0,1,2 dpm states It must select the newest. Maintenece will take about 30-60 minutes.
All your rigs will be still mining. Dashboard will be unavailable so you wont see stats and cant update settings.
We spotted problem with out HW RAID controller and we need to replace it
Is the maintenance done yet? The dash has shown my rigs to be offline for 72 minutes now! (They are mining fine) Am I having other issues? What are the options for purchasing a finished system for immersion cooling? I've only been able to find this product, and the company didn't want to talk to me about a small residential installation... http://www.grcooling.com/carnotjet/That ^^ looks rather nice and good to see they are not using Novec Tried to dl the FAQ on their thermal xfr fluid but must be one helluva big PDF -- over minute and still not loaded. That's a 'FAQ'? Too bad and rather stupid that they won't talk to 'small' users... Whats wrong with Novec? I tried back in the day to buy Novec 7100 from 3M, but they wouldnt sell it to me! I was planning a small scale immersion project. |
