Hey, is it worth buying used GPUs (470 in particular) or its better to get new ones?
To avoid bothering with overheating used cards or just in general having any problems with random ebay sellers?

Could you help me out getting dual mining to work?
I'm trying to dual mine eth and dcr, but all my dcr shares are getting rejected!
I'm using smOS with this connection string:
-epool stratum+tcp://eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal $walletETH/$rigName -esm 0 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mport -3333 -dpool stratum+tcp://decred.eu.nicehash.com:3354 -dwal 15iUPBM9qt6ra7wRCeeRuuDC5CeRpM9Y6M -dcri 15 -dcoin decred
Am I missing something?
Is that claymore miner? If so, -dcoin dcr not decred. |

decred changed mining algo, so Claymore was not working...check out Claymore's thread (new version upcoming).

pretty sure its only suprnova, they changed the header or something. i am dual mining eth/dcr at nicehash with cdm 9.1 dcr shares are being accepted. |

Do you know if SMos founder is planning to add something like the NH multi algo miner ?
Never managed to make it work correctly with windows, but would try it on a single RIG if it was avilable in SMos.

smOS is Linux so the closest to "auto-algo-profit-switching" like NH Windows miner is to play around with sgminer... |

Already a fourth thread ? Ah, I learnt so many thing following your threads that it is a pleasure for me to take a look at this new one that will go with my mining life for some time.
Anyway, I would like to gather your opinions on the RX 570. Is it really a game changer ? Surprisingly it is cheaper than RX 470, maybe because it offer less performances ?

yeah it was dormant for so long i had not paid attention. i did get on the train at ~8 bucks, and have slowly added more a bit at a time. i have an old litecoin wallet backed up somewhere, back from i gpu mined ltc. dont recall how much was in it though. as i recall i sold most of them off during its decline. at that time i didnt have automated backups to my nas (just copied stuff to other drives) so i just gotta find it. |

i know that feeling: i have an armory wallet that has 5 btc in it. did it back when btc was arount 5 bucks or so. i dont remember the password so i am in the same boat. i can fire up armory, look right at it and not be able to do a thing with it.. |

 a little blurr but i'm sure many can decode them, the 580 8gb does up to 30.2-3 ish but it does jumps up & down a bit 470 4gb is the clear winner for now still imo OP did you receive the goodies ? |
