most of the menubar apps i've seen only give the current price, like this open source one, https://github.com/nearengine/btcbar . maybe create a ticket on there to see if the author likes the idea and he might do it for free.

Congratz, well done. So, who's "Victor"? victor hugo is also a station; i think that plus "M" was supposed to clue us to meto stations.

since he knows the exact time, you'd think he could look it up in his browser history
His browser history wouldn't save the email/username/address he inputted. Browser history just saves the pages visited, not the form data submitted. but it would give you the ticket id, since it's part of the url and the address is then a db lookup away

Hi !
I forgot to write down the ticket number, but i earned 10k satoshi from scratch4satoshis, at 2015-01-09 22:53:52 UTC
Not sure if that will increase my level into the famous faucet, but at least it represents a mean to offer my thanks to the good people of scratch4satoshis.
Keep up the good work, guys ! I wish a great 2015 for you and your families.
All the best, Hilton
I just need to know what email/username/btc wallet address you played with and I can look it up.Thanks for the well wishes and happy 2015 to you too! since he knows the exact time, you'd think he could look it up in his browser history

it's too easy to cheat on this game. all the images are embedded in the flash file, so you can just extract them and brute-force the assembly.

where can people get copies of those bots if there any out there?
lame. i was trying to warn faucet owners, not encourage dishonest cheapskates.

thebot.net community is a piece of shit. I wonder if there is anything site owners can do to stop this. Since I knew the owner of Microwallet barely does anything for their faucet service, I never bothered to sign up with them and went with FaucetBOX instead, although I also decided to do DOGE and not Bitcoin so I would have had to. Anyway, it seems they're targeting Microwallet specifically and only the captchas: recaptcha, and solvemedia. Is there a way for those with Microwallet faucets to change captcha services? any faucet, regardless of the wallet service is susceptible Faucetbox had a place for Are You Human?, and I decided to use that, so I was wondering if Microwallet has any way to easily change to a captcha the bots won't get through...
the botter is using a webservice to solve recaptcha and solvemedia, and is paying for that service. areyouhuman captchas are hackable and the botter wouldn't even need to pay, so it would be more profitable to target faucets using that captcha: http://spamtech.co.uk/software/bots/cracking-the-areyouhuman-captcha/ . that's from 2012 and they haven't changed much.

be honest, it's not even close to 10000 per minute. the average payout is 100 * .973 + (500 + 1000 + 10000) * .009 = 200 satoshi.

no balance and the you have a problem with your captcha

Have you ever considered making these tickets provably fair? That only makes sense if we users were depositing our own funds on his site. You might as well ask this of the hundreds of other faucets that offer a variable-sized prize. Well it's not completely unseen, freebitco.in has provably fair only their gambling game is provably fair, not their faucet.

120000 (0%) satoshi every 5 minutes.
good!! if I remember correctly, microwallet dont paiy > 100k satoshi. correct me if I'm wrong you remember wrong, it's 200K (check the api docs), but it doesn't matter, this faucet uses faucetbox not microwallet.

|

"Insufficient funds. Amount added to balance." Can you add an indication on the site when the site has funds so we know when we can try again to transfer to microwallet?

That sucks, I was close to the PayPal minimum from referrals.
you should ding his trust rating for that. IMHO it's dishonest what he did. if he starts another faucet or a different service, people should know not to trust him.

Better, whats better than 3 satoshi was sent to your FaucetBOX.com address.
You have to raise them awards imo
especially since he's using one of the slowest captchas to solve.

I asked by email a week or two ago and FB said they will eventually revamp how referral fees are paid, but no ETA on that. The one advantage MF has over FB in collecting referral fees, is that you don't need to successfully solve a captcha to collect on an MF faucet, so you can have a script run periodically to collect your referrals on a lot of faucets. But currently with FB, you have to successfully solve a captcha on every faucet to collect your referral bonus, which can be time consuming.
