for the recommended 470 question....well I suppose an 8 pin vs 6 pin is better, although since apparently the pci watt load is pretty steady it doesnt make much difference. So go with what the memory freq is. higher is better. so sapphire nitro looks to be the best bet.
Sapphire nitro is a great card. Xfx is really good too. It has my best asic quality of 92% I can share pictures and mod if wanted I agree with Wolf, XFX is really a high quality paper weight. Shitty cooling, shitty components. See my post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1615394.msg16247718#msg16247718I'm pretty sure all 480 8GB ref and no ref got samsung mem. Also pretty sure 480 4gb doesnt have samsung. Also sure all sapphire 470 8gb got samsung, and all 470 4gb ref and no ref got hynx(maybe some micron too already). The only none samsung 8gb is msi 470 8gb which is micron i think. So at least for the VRAM you are not exactly right. I personaly also like ref design pcb but with non-ref cooler as it was with 290 tri-x and pcs+(first revision). These were the best 290. Sad there is no 470/480 with ref design pcb and custom cooler. Non-ref don't all have Samsung. Non-ref is luck of the draw, always. Which nonref 480 8gb doesnt have samsung? Right now: All 480 8gb - Samsung All 480 4GB excluding bios masked 8gb ref - hynx Nitro 470 8Gb - Samsung Msi 470 8gb - Micron All 470 4gb - hynx/micron Just got an XFX without it. RX 480 8Gb 8000mhz which i not Samsung, really? If this is true this shoul be different hynx/micron from the one on 4Gb which is rated 6600-7000.. Are you sure you are not mistaken?

Did somebody tried etc.ethermine.org ? It looks its a new etc pool host by one of the biggest Eth pools - ethermine.org .

@Claymore, can you make an example line for sia-nanopool for dpools.txt? I cant figure it out...
Thanks!

@Claymore, with 4.0 I got 5-6% rejected shares to f2pool with 4.4 I got around 50%, do you have any clue why it could be ? I use same command line...

@Claymore, is there a way to activate email notifications on f2pool? especially in epools.txt?
Thanks!

@Claymore instead of pushing config is it possible to edit config through the remote app? This will be way easier to change settings when there are many rigs. Also it will be helpful if we can execute reboot.bat throughthe remote manager.

Amazing miner, couldn't be more easier, here is demonstration how i change pool with a couple clicks on 7 rigs placed in 4 different locations:) https://streamable.com/ek3l

@Claymore, can you add %Name% way for some miner specific options like -etha and -mport?
I got different -etha and -mport settings on each miner and i cant push same config to all miners...
Ok I'll think about it. I got an idea for an easy implementation(from excel:) . If in my config there is a line starting with "$" keep it. Lets say my config is: -epool eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal wallet/Name -epsw zorvalth@gmail.com -esm 0 -mode 1 &-etha 1,0,0,0 &-mport 3335 And push config with -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal wallet.Name -epsw x -esm 1 -mode 1
Will result in this: -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal wallet.Name -epsw x -esm 1 -mode 1 &-etha 1,0,0,0 &-mport 3335 p.s. But the name stays a little problematic...

New version with remote monitoring/management will be available in a day. Some new features/options will be added as well. The monitoring utility can have a lot of advanced features, but I prefer to release it asap so first version will have only main set of features like monitoring hashrates, temperatures etc and remote setting pools and options.
Any chance to monitor rigs on multiple locations and no real ip of the internet provider?

@Claymore in my command line i use ethermine with eth-proxy: EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x8d5ad572f59fbc5bb********266d3083ea9290.RigName -epsw x -esm 0 -mode 1 -wd 1 -r 1 -dbg -1 -etha 1 Because there is no way to check if my failover is set properly does it suppose to look like that: POOL: us1.ethermine.org:4444, WALLET: 0x8d5ad572f59fbc5bb********266d3083ea9290, PSW: x, WORKER:RigName , ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 0 POOL: eth-eu.dwarfpool.com:8008, WALLET: 0x8d5ad572f59fbc5bb********266d3083ea9290, PSW: x, WORKER:RigName , ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 0 or should i put the name of the worker after the wallet separated wit dot? I'd recommend: POOL: us1.ethermine.org:4444, WALLET: 0x8d5ad572f59fbc5bb********266d3083ea9290.RigName, PSW: x, ESM: 1 Thanks, i will do that but probably keep esm:0 maybe just feeling but i think i got better hashrate on the pool with eth-proxy than the qtminer mode. p.s. I think you should stop releasing updates the day after new epoch dag, people cant remember they are loosing performance on most of the cards with every new dag

This now means that the algorithm does not require additional files, which opens the way Asiс .
No asics, I just decided to solve issues with DAG files completely, I planned to do it later but after Wolf0's phrase "goddamned DAGs" I understood that I must do it right now Now I generate DAGs directly on GPUs so no DAG files are used at all. And no slowdowns on restart? If you have HDD, not SSD, you will see that v4.0 starts much faster. If you have slow CPU you will see the same. So it doesnt take 10 mins on every restart to generate the dag on the gpu mem directly? You Rock!

mr Claymore you clever conman test setup 3xr9 380h operated under standards miner. Had 62 Mhs stable. After switching on your miner received 50 Mhs. Explain what is the problem? TKS Probably lack of your knowledge, most of us boosted 5-10% Here are my 4x380 properly set Very immpressive. At what clocks? Sapphire Nitro R9 380 2GB (Samsung memory - its 1mh faster than Elpida), core clock is stock (1040), memclock is +50(1500). -etha 1

v4.0:
- no DAG files anymore. - removed "-dir" option. - Bug fixes.
What do you mean "no DAG files"?
