Tether is so flawed but we have another stablecoin which can serve its main purpose. New stablecoin add more variety and advantages

It can be both. Bitcoin created to be a currency and payment method but different amount of supply between bitcoin and fiat (particularly USD and its forever inflation) forced bitcoin to be an investment.
Bitcoin price don't need to be stable to become payment method because it actually is. it just need two sides who agreed to transact using bitcoin.
we need to stop seeing bitcoin as a commodity. maybe your 0.1 bitcoin price is down and you think you lost some money but actually you still have your 0.1 bitcoin. it just because you still think your fiat as default money. (yeah i just realized it)
In fact bitcoin "price" is just an exchange rate from one currency to another

Price benefitted us more than tech, that is why ppl care only about price. We jump as investor not user.
Honestly even we don't need some of those tech, like privacy transaction only deepweb criminals will care
If you want ppl not think only about price you need to make something great that will force us as its user

Before big dump i believe working product can make ICO success, but now it even can't sustain ICO price.
Now something that guarantee the success of project is constant demand, like we see in the success of ethereum, neo or binance

developer try to find excuse for creating their own ICO and make money.
Many (top) projects have their own advantage, but instead working together to create ultimate cryptocurrency, they keep away one from another and compete for brand, fame and money.
for majority shitcoin, their dev didn't think to make practical product, but easy money. And probably they don't have any idea how to make one
This world don't need another cryptocurrency, but more tech, practical product and improvement

I know a platfrom called kyd (know your developer), they check and review the developer of a coin/token. but i don't know if their review is authentic or not.
Honestly i only invest in a project that have a video showing their team's face

And that’s my point, utorrent and torrent mainly is used on daily basis and I see nice potentials I really dunno why people have fears from buying this coin
Somehow i think it will ended up like PoW coin (or worse), more supply but little demand. Imagine 6 years monthly airdrop+daily sell if btt start rewarding torrent seeders, only more supply coming while i not see any demand mechanism. the price will keep getting low It's just a trick to drive up trx price using hold>airdrop system |

Yes, indeed all the stable coins you mentioned are mostly from USD. And I know that, but are there other possibilities for stable coins around the price of $ 0.1? I don't think so far. Thanks.
not all stablecoin have price of $1, bitcny price is around $0.15 . it is easy to have stablecoin under $1 if that coin is pegged to a nation currency with price less than $1 Stable coins are not that important in this day and age, they are not used anywhere other than the exchanges and the exchanges use them just for showing how much dollar you have and not the exchange that allows you to withdraw fiat so all in all they are totally useless. I mean all that usdt and all that where are they used ? They are super useless and they are not really worth anything in my book, even 1 dollar is too much for 1 usdt.
If you however use them to trade and when you are on binance and you want to do btc to usdt or you think bitcoin is going down at that point usdt has a reason to exist since you change them to usdt and wait the bear out in usdt instead of btc. However that could be usdt, usdc , usd or whatever and it would still be the same for all of us.
all is same coz most prefer to peg their coin to usd (yeah also i agree it's not necessary at all to create another tokenized usd), but some which is backed up by gold (or strong currency) can be investment alternative in bad market condition, and also better in value than those usd tokens |

What you mentioned above is not really the reason why investors are losing hope, the main reason is the big manipulation in crypto last year, what can really boost investors confidence is when the crypto world start appreciating and we start seeing another all time hight
that will only give hope for short time, until next crash and crypto will be marked forever as only a toy for whales. |

Wow such a waste of money, you are planning an ICO like you will create big company. actually ICO is just selling your ideas then ppl transfer their money to you. Many successful ICO started with just some couple lines of codes and words (a nice website and whitepaper/ann thread)

Each project has a different way of working. I admit that in 2018 there are many ICOs that reach a soft cap, but not yet listed on any exchanger. And this method I feel is less effective for a project that holds its coin into an exchanger. It will also harm and make investors nervous.
actually yes, many ICO reached softcap. But instead working and maximizing on their product to start generating income, they waste their small money to list on exchange while they know it's not cheap. yeah they don't care about product after all. their token value only depend on market manipulation |

Kalau bitcoin sendiri yg dijadikan sebagai mata uang ane kira tidak terlalu cocok karena nilainya sendiri yg tidak stabil, jadi bagusnya ya tidak diadopsi. bayangin kalau situ jadi penjual megang duitnya dalam bentuk bitcoin, kemaren ente punya sejuta eh hari ini nilainya turun duit ente tinggal dua ratus rebu, kan kampret itu. Walaupun hanya sebagai alat transfer ttep aja serasa anu, karna perubahan harga bitcoin bisa terjadi kurang dari sedetik. karena ane ngalamin sendiri beli barang pke bitcoin, setelah transfer eh kudu ngirim lagi karena pas diconvert harganya turun duitnya jadi kurang Kecuali kalau koin lain seperti beberapa stablecoin (trueusd, digix, atau yg di signature ane  ) yg memang nilainya dibuat stabil supaya cocok sebagai alat tukar |

Since the beginning of 2019 there has been lot of bitcoin paying signature campaigns especially by gambling industry.
he mean altcoin sigcamp which pay in bitcoin, it's very rare now, and gambling sigcamp don't count as it will always available for long time so it gives no difference. but this year i think will be better as bitcoin no longer have big pump&dump, more adoption already happen as i see some crypto project and altcoin reached real world global scale, not only "exchange scale". and all person in crypto world learn something from last year's dark age. crypto user become smarter and crypto dev will create something better i'll always love this stable-slow growth when all real growth happen |

Well everyone knows that certain projects do not have a reliable working product
But an investor does not consider only products; but hypes
More hypes brings more pumps and more profits
So i think those trash projects always continue to popped up not only because there is lack of regulation, but also because community only want fast profit. crypto community dont care about the product it bring. not surprising many ico have plan for only raise price, buyback, etc etc. |

Real business turn into xrp war.
Those hardcore haters might be the most suffering ppl when xrp dump from $3 to less than $1 now. I'm not xrp fanboy but i appreciate it's rapid development.
And i agree real business need a strong and stable ground. In case of btc, xrp and other cryptocurrency it need stable and fast network, and stable value coz it is cryptocurrency not cryptoinvestment. xrp might have more stable network and faster transaction but both failed at stable value

Even when currently ico and crypto not in good condition, seems dead but i believe some ico will be succesfull and become next giant tech company, of course if they have innovation or something that really benefit for all ppl. one mistake for many many ico i think because they only target crypto user, and we know there are very small number crypto users in the world. Soon their money will be depleted

ICO is not very succesfull and not much demand these day so same thing happen to ethereum coz majority demand for ethereum is from ICO.
Yet i still don't know why ppl want a pump but don't want a dump. first one always followed by last one. we should talk about real demand, fundamental and usecase instead pump and wanna get rich fast
