181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: September 13, 2013, 07:00:42 AM
blame the idiots dumping coins like this for the latest shitcoin..
cryptsy has been showing a steady decline in QRK from 300 to 175 last i checked and i holding mine and have bought more occasionally
even though i can't mine this coin anymore since two halves ago roughly Sad
once again the crowd roars in and makes it nearly impossible for me to get anything at all mining
and they don't care.. pump and dump and leave the corpse and bag holders in their wake.

getting to the point where i may have to just join em.. i see no choice
why have integrity or look at these coins as anything more than an opportunity to scam and weazle and flash-premine and ponzi scheme your way to the top
why support ANY coin ?
we might as well just dump the hell out of the coin on exchange day one after we pre-flashed mined the hell out of it
and then move on to the next childish retarded gimmick scamcoin.

i think i'm going to consider dumping my quark and moving on, there is no point in trying to compete in the market with sleaze bags
fuck it might as well join em :/
and yeah i'm serious too

The most honest coin will be a 100% premine.  Imagine if some leader a true leader just donated them all away.  All the websites, block explorers, exchanges, and more website would have them and not the ffin miners.  The experience miners know all the tricks to block your ip botnet, cpu asic.  Why not just have a proof of stake coin 100% premine.  Then every exchange will make the coin more valuable.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: How long do you think we have? on: September 12, 2013, 09:05:11 PM
(Reuters) - The Czech central bank lowered on Friday its forecast for the 2013 public sector deficit to 2.3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) from 2.4 percent.  It trimmed its outlook for the 2014 deficit to 2.0 percent of economic output from a previous forecast of 2.2 percent. In 2015 the Czech central bank sees the public sector deficit at 2.3 percent.  The bank also cut its outlook for the 2013 public debt to 47.2 percent of GDP from a previous expectation of 48.1 percent.  In the 2014 the Czech central bank assumes the debt level should reach 48.0 percent of GDP, down from 48.5 percent forecast earlier.  In the 2015 the Czech central bank expects the debt level to reach 48.1 percent of GDP.

No offense look at the numbers in Argentina.  I would not worry until your deficits are running over 10%.  debt/gdp is not that important it is interest payments compared to revenues.

183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a scam? on: September 12, 2013, 08:45:37 PM
ripple is a scam.

The only client the average user can use is a web based client.  That means the owner of the site has complete control of your password and account.  What if ripple.org went down tomorrow like "my bitcoin wallet".  Could you sell your coins?  I do think bitcoin is flawed in that it should be a ledger.  But you should not trust anyone.  You can trust your bank, you can trust Obama, you can trust Hitler, I don't!

Can anyone list the approximate dates to when the coin reward will halve.  Every three weeks.  When was the last halve.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Customers to decide if eBay should adopt Bitcoin, will they? on: September 08, 2013, 07:33:14 AM
Probably crash bitcoin, it can't handle the transactions per second.  Blockchain would grow to unusable size.  We will all be using quarkcoins.

I actually sold a video card, it is worth the experience to sell something.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yikes, all or nearly all alt coins racing toward being worth not much on: September 02, 2013, 03:38:19 AM
All alt coins should be 100% premined, that way all the value goes into the coin.  The miners print and sell.  Mining is nothing more than Ben Bernanke printing.  In about 3 moths quarkcoin and infititecoin, iocoin, might become 1st real coins with an annual inflation rate less than 1%.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][I0C] I0coin hardfork coming, everybody please upgrade to at least 0.8.3-2 on: August 21, 2013, 08:44:54 PM
Didn't know it was restarted.  Is there an exchange?  I own someone a bounty.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: August 21, 2013, 08:07:08 PM
Quit being a premine crybabie.  The only honest coin is a 100% premine.  There was nothing hidden.  Ixcoin was the first to offer a bunch of bounties.  Just becasue you have mining equipment and want to waste electricity on nothing does not mean mining is fair.  I am looking only to buy 100% pre-mined coins.  I am willing to invest in ixc when the mining reward goes to zero.  Why make the miners and mining pools rich?  btcguild and deepbit made $million off bitcoin running mining pools yet they really offer nothing for the economy.  Except possibly expose an attack.  I want a 100% premine coin so I can buy it for really cheap then start some websites to promote it.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: August 21, 2013, 04:04:26 PM
You should change name to QuickRocK or quickrocket coin and make sure you get quickrock.net,
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: August 21, 2013, 04:36:23 AM
Has the quarkcoin.org site been hacked.  The linux download is wrong and the bad thing is I ran it.  The logo for quarkcoin.net came up.
193  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Running government just by inflating its currency on: August 20, 2013, 07:02:30 PM
If there was an auto treasury and it was written into law.  Thus the treasury would be able to print 2% a year.  Yes it would be a tax.  Considering you save on tax collection, IRS, and even collecting a sales tax it would be a good way to make money.  You could also tax land a small bit, not building but land.  To hold gold or any other commodity has costs.  Thus, I think people would accept a small inflation.  BTW, the money supply (national debt) in the United States has grown about 8% a year since 1971.  This is basically the same thing because if interest rates get too high the fed will print to lower the rates.  The congress has no real spending limits except the inflation rate and revolution.

$600
$612
$624
$637
$649
$662
$676

I think you could also run a country by pegging your currency to the U.S. dollar or euro.

Maybe a 1% inflation rate and $500 per acre land tax.

194  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Running government just by inflating its currency on: August 20, 2013, 04:09:01 AM
Yes, I think you could run a country with only inflating a currency.  If the United States started with $600 billion a year and increased that amount 2% a year, there would provide plenty of money for defense, national parks, general welfare, and courts.   The BLM turns a profit already and the forest service could.

You may not know the United States in 1910 ran the whole government basically on an alcohol tax.  Once the income tax was started, only then did they vote for prohibition. You could have other smaller sin taxes like carbon, alcohol, and firearms.

You could also get rid of sales taxes as most states did not have them.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crisis in Argentine on: June 09, 2013, 06:03:55 AM
Argentina has been in crisis for 20 years.  They are out of an Ayn Rand novel.  The unions and government run the show.  In 2008 the exchange rate was about $0.32/ARS, today it is $.18/ARS.  Thus, if I were Argentine, I would start to convert ARS to bitcoin, tin, aluminum, and nickel.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] i0coin - Back from the dead on: June 06, 2013, 09:33:16 PM
I really hope this gets revived, the inflation is very low and there may be bounties if you revive it.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need a new coin on: June 06, 2013, 09:28:29 PM
premine is not a scam, it is a feature.  All the crybabies that want mining to distribute coins, are miners.  They want something for free.  That is why never invest in a mined coin other than bitcoin.  Since 1/2 of bitcoin are already mined, it now has become a fair coin.  An honest coin is a premined coin.  it allows the early adopters, creators, and promoters to gain from promoting it.

Actaully the USD was once based on gold.  When the fed was created, basically it was allowed to have unlimited "premine" coins controlled by the fed.  A premine cryptocurrency has a fixed supply so all the promoting and trading of the coin ends up in the value of the coin.

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need a new coin on: June 06, 2013, 08:29:50 PM
Mining would get the high transaction fees.  Start with a zero inflation coin to start.  Give 10% of the coin to the exchange and exchanges that holds the coin.  Mining adds nothing, I repeat nothing, to the economy.
